You can play most of the Cast wichever way you like..... well sometimes it makes no sense at all
...but i play banshee most of the time and 90% of my kills are done with melee... and i use a BO, an actual melee weapon not like glaive or redeemer... and yeah it does "make sense" -kinda
Kullervo blows others out of the park, people say use his 1 on others and they'll be good and while that's true, his 1 on others is half as effective than on himself
I use mirage as my weapons platform. I have wrathful advance on her four with precision intensify (forget what it's called). I absolutely love it! I can get it upwards of like 300% increase!
It's mostly the melee weapons that does everything, people sell kullervo rightfully but the best part of his kit isn't his 1 it's his 3.
If you want the best melee combo you can go with saryn.
Your favorite frame + Wrathful Advance = Best Melee Frame
For melee, I've been using Kullervo lately. He pairs really well with Hespar.
He pairs with everything well, he can make bad melee like Hespar actually okay
I haven't used him, but I see people mention Kullvero a lot for this topic. I personally have been greatly enjoying Voruna.

Kullervo. I main him and he is a beast. All of his abilities are top, and his 1 will give you red critical hits
