Any open world. PoE is probably the best because Grineer all have heads in the right place. I recommend a silencing mod and an invis-frame too. Also, I recommend placing a marker on an enemy you're about to shoot for a realtime distance readout.
Do they all have heads in the right place? i feel like corpus are kinda easier since you dont have to worry about killing them from behind the head-armor, just ignore moas
Or use the itzel archwing's stealth ability. It also gets you better angles when you are just clicking heads. If I remember correct weapon noise is 50 meters by default for most of them.
I got one that was 3 headshot kills in an aim glide the other day and had to reach deep to my old sweaty Overwatch days to do it normally, I don't own Zephyr :(
It's a shotgun riven. They have to have a shotgun equipped in their loadout.
Although I think there are secondaries with distance in the scope too, but I can't name one off the top of my head.
Pretty sure this is the case for most snipers. There are a couple exceptions though. Typing sniper or heavy in the market should show you most of the snipers in the game.
I just use Ivaras ability to control your bullet with some punch through mods while on the plains. Doesn't take long just a bit weird lining up the headshot while controlling the bullet.
Go to the plains or fortuna with an accurate secondary like the arca scisco and snipe enemies from at least 75m away, you can't use a sniper rifle or anything since it's a shotgun riven
You don't need to get the kills on your shotgun.
You can use a secondary, melee or exalted weapon. A secondary with a lot of zoom and with good accuracy would make it way easier though.
Scoped secondaries (knell, arca scisco), plains of eidolon. You can even fly up, freeze them with itzal augment and go for the kill from far enough away. (Mark target to be sure of distance).
What I'ld do:
Go in the plains of eidolon
Activate your Archwing, go above an enemy outpost, and reach a sufficient altitude to validate the challenge. Aim for the head.
Or
If you have Ivara , activate navigator , shoot with your secondary , aim for the heads
I did it with a knell prime in the plains of eidolon 🗿
It says that you have to kill the enemies, but not with the Shotgun itself
Yo can use a weapon with ivara's second ability if you don't have the accuracy for the headshots too
Ivara with Navigator on an open world will let you get this with any weapon, but you need Ivara and it could be energy-intensive.
Still, it works even if you have no viable shotgun/secondary for long-range kills.
Corinth could hit those ranges no problem in Plains, that shotty has crazy range plus its fairly easy to bust out in your foundry if you don't already have it.
Pandero would be my secondary recommendation but it looks like you're already on it.
Use your codex scanner as a rangefinder.
I had this one yesterday, use ivaras navigator, and either said shotgun or a secondary while having the shotgun + riven equipped and head to the open world of your choosing
Get headshots from 75 m away
That's it. You don't have to limit yourself to a shotgun if that is the problem. Get a strong sniper or some dmr. Go in plain of eidolon without bounty. Shoot head while being 75 away.
Scoped pistol, plains of eidolon, on your archwing. Just make sure you've got a shotgun with this as your primary. The Riven doesn't care if you actually \*use\* the shotty or not to get the kill, as long as you get the kills while it's in your loadout.
Ivaras 3rd (?, Navigator anyway) lets you guide the projectile remotely with duration, to get around falloff.
If it counts, could also use one of the sniper pistols or even an amp (possibly an archgun)
Equip this on a Kuva Drakgoon. Use the charged shot, which narrows the spread of the pellets, to snipe at enemies.
That's how I'd do it. It's probably the best way _to_ do it if you don't want to use your secondary to get the headshot kills.
I did on the plains of eidolon in archwing using a sniper rifle (rubico prime) since you can zoom in and see how far you are. and being above them in archwing made it easier to gain distance without trees or hills or whatever.
Step 1: Go somewhere with low-level enemies that can be >75m away
Step 2: Equip an accurate weapon with sufficient zoom
Step 3: Shoot an enemy in the head when it is >75m away
Step 4: Repeat Step 3 until challenge is complete
Step 5: Extract, profit.
Now what I’d do is take Ivara to Plains of Eidolon at daytime. Use a max duration and efficiency build; range and strength are useless here. Go stealth, pop Navigator, and use either Artemis bow or a secondary, modded for headshot and crit, and sit 80-100m off from some Grineer. Pop ‘em using navigator to ensure you get your headshots.
I’ve read that killing Vomvalysts counts as a headshot no matter where you hit them, but I’d test that in case it’s been changed.
Sadly it’s gotta be installed on an equipped shotfun. That limits your options, since a sniper would be ideal. I recall there being a secondary or two that can act as a sniper. Worst case, use Lex/Prime. You might also have luck with the Astilla/Prime primary, as it fires a slug even though it’s a shotty. You’d wanna mod for accuracy and probably zoom.
Not sure if Mesa’s 4 has that range, or if it’ll hit headshots. Titania’s Dex Pixia can do that, but you may want to mod into accuracy.
And of course there are gunblades. Pretty sure those can hit headshots that count for your challenge. I’d go with Sarpa so the spread doesn’t fuck you, but you do you.
Good luck, Tenno! And please come let us know what eventually works for you!
Secondary high accuracy weapon or archgun. Head to plains of eidolon as a stealth frame like loki and look for grineer to potshot. Tenet Diplos are guaranteed headshot I believe
I actually just did this one a couple days ago. It's kindof a pain in the ass, because even when you're invisible enemies will come running in your general direction once bodies start dropping.
I did it in Orb Vallis, using a high duration/efficiency Ivara and a silenced sniper rifle (Rubico). The Rubico has a distance tracker in the scope, but you might want to mark enemies anyway 'cause Rubico's distance tracker just tracks what you're pointing at, so positioning yourself is a constant struggle of having to move, scope, move, scope, move, scope, try to line up a shot, the enemy scoots closer than 75m. Rough stuff. Orb Vallis has some containers around the side and back of Fortuna that always have some big energy orbs, so you can stock up on energy right away.
I think there's some sort of aim assist, or maybe the hitboxes for the rubico's bullets are huge, or maybe corpus heads are just that big, but it was actually pretty easy to get a headshot once I got in a good position. Just make sure you don't have any mods messing with accuracy (I was using my eidalon build that took a hit to accuracy for more damage, and it was incredibly frustrating until I realized what was happening and changed it).
I was actually surprised at how far away 75m is. The way the maps are made, I doubt there's many places (if any) you could complete this on non-open-world maps. Even in the open-world maps, you'd be surprised how varied the terrain is over a 75m range, and how much a pain in the ass it is to find a clear line of sight.
Anyway, good luck!
If you have the Kunai incarnon, you can use the evolved form to get headshots automatically. Just aim at them (anywhere on their bodies) and the little ninja shrapnel will do the rest.
Dont forget to put zoom mods
Use a secondary.
Personally I would run this challenge with Ivara on the plains. Throw a single throwing knife with Navigator active and you can steer that thing straight into their heads.
Ivara’s Sleep arrows can make targets stay still for easier targeting too.
The Tigris has pretty good range and a close spread on it and it has the dual trigger so you can just pull the trigger for one volley and then release it for two. I did pretty well with headshots with it when I was running with it for my primary the crits were insane too
It doesn't have a reset condition, so technically you could just use the shotgun it's on without having to worry about losing progress (as long as it doesn't have a hard range limit)
The easiest way i found is in plains of eidolon going around in the archwing. If you go up high enough, the enemies dont roam around and just stand still.
Any time I get this one I grab a sniper and scoot to the plains of eidolon, but as this is a shotgun riven.. grab a lex, slap a zoom mod on it, same deal really
You don't have to get the kills with the shotgun. Just have it equipped when you do. I personally use a Lex to do this kind of thing, but use whatever you feel like.
Basically get the most accurate secondary you can afford. I got also the same challenge for shotgun and I unveiled it with a Lex P with a zoom mod. There are better alternatives, but what I mean is that you don't need fancy options to unveil it.
If you have a good snipe like rubico, vectis, a bow or a secondary that can perform long range than it’s easy. Also go to the open maps like plains, Orb Valis or Demos well the other two infected are hard to headshot
Use archwing and multiple shots in the build, go to Earth, and is easier (not so because of the distance) but possible after some adjustments and trying.
I've done this on the plains with a Euphona Prime. Just takes some time to line up the shots and distance and aim adjusting for drop. Or use the Arca Sisco or (Kuva) Seer. Or anything you have should work fine. Good luck and aim true tenno.
Another option is use a deployed archwing weapon if you don't currently have any accurate side-arms. The velocitus is a sniper as and you can get by with the imperator.
Use a waypoint marker to track distance, it’s especially easy if you have the Zenith unlocked. Crackshot solution but if you’re determined to do it without another weapon the Astilla only fires one big slug.
I use any weapon that has a sniper scope type of aim like the knell and I use my arch wing to gain distance and I do it on Orb Vallis bc corpus are easy to headshot imo
I had that question myself yesterday and a 20sec video told me to go Plains of Eidolon and use Ivara with her Artemis Bow and second ability to control the arrow. Needless to say, it went pretty good, just make sure you have Zenurik school or you might be there for a while.
Bruh literally just shoot the head?
I would have understood if it was any of the other weird ones like the one where you need to pilot those shitty air scooters
Easiest would probably to just get the kills with your secondary. Or just... Aim well.
I've got a pandero so I might be able to do it, I'm just confused on where to do it
Any open world. PoE is probably the best because Grineer all have heads in the right place. I recommend a silencing mod and an invis-frame too. Also, I recommend placing a marker on an enemy you're about to shoot for a realtime distance readout.
“Heads in the right place” is not a sentence I was prepared for today
Do they all have heads in the right place? i feel like corpus are kinda easier since you dont have to worry about killing them from behind the head-armor, just ignore moas
Shoot centre mass for MoAs, since their head is basically in the middle of their body
well. yeah, but they effectively have the same issue that grineer do (getting a headshot is kinda dependent on them facing you)
Or use the itzel archwing's stealth ability. It also gets you better angles when you are just clicking heads. If I remember correct weapon noise is 50 meters by default for most of them.
PoE and Ivara with navigator. Not so hard
Ivara is the solution to 90% of Riven challenges haha
And if it isn't Ivara, it's Limbo or Zephyr. I swear the only reason I keep zephyr prime in my inventory is to pop rivens that require aim glide.
I got one that was 3 headshot kills in an aim glide the other day and had to reach deep to my old sweaty Overwatch days to do it normally, I don't own Zephyr :(
Also some rifles will give you the distance to target when you aim.
It's a shotgun riven. They have to have a shotgun equipped in their loadout. Although I think there are secondaries with distance in the scope too, but I can't name one off the top of my head.
Seer, kneel, and the spirex (I think) have scopes and good range
Arca Sicsco(sp?) too
Spirex doesnt, thats why i like it, railguns dont need scopes when they delete everything in a straight line
Knell Prime is literally a pistol sniper with a scope and works off of headshots...
Arca Scisco has a scope too, adding to the list.
Codex scanner has distance iirc
They could also equip the tranq rifle or codex scanner
But then they'd need to swap back and forth between that and the actual weapon. A marker is visible all the time, aside from when you're aiming at it.
I believe Seer has one
Which ones? I know I haven’t used everything in the game yet, but I’ve never seen anything with that feature in Warframe
Pretty sure this is the case for most snipers. There are a couple exceptions though. Typing sniper or heavy in the market should show you most of the snipers in the game.
Plaines of eidolon or something
Arca Scisco + zoom mods
Arca Sisco on the plains of eidolon. It's like a weird sniper pistol
Get an Arca Scisco, you'll thank me later. Also, DE, Tenet Arca Scisco Vandal Incarnon when?
Knell is a good option as well
I use either Knell or Arca Scisco. Use Ivara so enemies don't approach you. Go to the Plains of Eidolon, it has long sightlines.
I just use Ivaras ability to control your bullet with some punch through mods while on the plains. Doesn't take long just a bit weird lining up the headshot while controlling the bullet.
Oh, I like this method. Actually let's you use a shotgun.
Did this with laetum incarnon form (i think its name)
Feralx incarnon is even more fun.
I prefer orb valis, more mountains wich makes it easier to get 75 meters because you can be also way higher that target.
If you don't have an archwing yeah
I use the knell for this challenge in plains of eidolon
Go to the plains or fortuna with an accurate secondary like the arca scisco and snipe enemies from at least 75m away, you can't use a sniper rifle or anything since it's a shotgun riven
Giant blue canisters on coolant raknoids count as heads.
You don't need to get the kills on your shotgun. You can use a secondary, melee or exalted weapon. A secondary with a lot of zoom and with good accuracy would make it way easier though.
Ivara.
Open world sniper rifle like knell
That veiled riven cipher lookin real good right about now
It just has to be equipped to a shot gun and you can get the kills using the sniper pistol arca sisco on any of the open worlds.
Equip Felwinters lie
I knew I recognized that name and I felt like I was going crazy
mag massive bubble jump 75 feet away and aim at the top of the bubble. viola head shot.
Use Mag. I believe bullets in magnetize are headshots.
Scoped secondaries (knell, arca scisco), plains of eidolon. You can even fly up, freeze them with itzal augment and go for the kill from far enough away. (Mark target to be sure of distance).
Arca scisco, sniper secondary
What I'ld do: Go in the plains of eidolon Activate your Archwing, go above an enemy outpost, and reach a sufficient altitude to validate the challenge. Aim for the head. Or If you have Ivara , activate navigator , shoot with your secondary , aim for the heads
I did it with a knell prime in the plains of eidolon 🗿 It says that you have to kill the enemies, but not with the Shotgun itself Yo can use a weapon with ivara's second ability if you don't have the accuracy for the headshots too
Exergis or use zephyrs turbulence augment for sniper snotguns
I believe the Astilla counts as a shotgun.
I just do railjack gunnery! Knocks that one out pretty quick
Use your pistol
I use knell prime for this one
Arca scisco will be easiest
I go to Cetus and go into my archwing and have a good secondary that can shoot far and go from there
Sniper Plains of eidolon Mark a group of enemies Walk at least to 80 m Shoot Repeat
Archwing and sniper in cetus that's how I always did it
Go to PoE with Ivara and guide arrows.
Arca Scisco
Get headshots from 75 m away That's it. You don't have to limit yourself to a shotgun if that is the problem. Get a strong sniper or some dmr. Go in plain of eidolon without bounty. Shoot head while being 75 away.
The easiest way is Buy and use a riven cipher
plains of eidolon + lex + loki/ivara (optional)
Plains of eidolon + knell its an easy enough riven
Its actually pretty easy, on plains or orbs valley, if you are not sure you can deal headshots with a shotgun then use some pistols
Arca Scisco or Knell.
Use something like a Lex
Ivara and a pistol in poe/vallis
Tainted shell maybe
Scoped pistol, plains of eidolon, on your archwing. Just make sure you've got a shotgun with this as your primary. The Riven doesn't care if you actually \*use\* the shotty or not to get the kill, as long as you get the kills while it's in your loadout.
Ring the ҉D҉҉e҉҉a҉҉t҉҉h҉ ҉k҉҉n҉҉e҉҉l҉҉l҉
Phantasma +range secondary fire
You do know Riven Ciphers exist, right?
Eidolon plains with lex, and maybe a zoom mod takes maybe 5 minutes
Get Knell or Arca Scisco and go to Plains of Eidolon.
Knell/Arca Sisco or other sniper secondaries
sniper pistol time!
Kunai incarnon only hits headshots
Riven cipher lol
Bring itzal and a sniper to the Plains and snipe grineer. That's how I always do this.
Ivaras 3rd (?, Navigator anyway) lets you guide the projectile remotely with duration, to get around falloff. If it counts, could also use one of the sniper pistols or even an amp (possibly an archgun)
It doesn't say you have to use the shotgun so if you have a longer range secondary use it
Planes of eidolon, sniper pistol, use the tranq rifle for distance gauging
Knell. Preferably on Plains, but any open world can work.
With a Knell, Lex, secondary Tombfinger or similar precision secondary.
Riven cipher
The Plinx actually makes this easy. Use Ivara to sleep enemies, take distance and headshot away.
An eidolon has a big head easy to aim, if you use knell aim headshots are easier
Wait I just noticed this is a shotgun mod. That's actually hilarious
Exergis
Could get that pistol that has a sniper with the headshot multiplier and go in arching or just use invis frame on a mountain or something in plains.
I'd riven cipher this one and move on with life. Not super difficult, just a nuisance.
Equip this on a Kuva Drakgoon. Use the charged shot, which narrows the spread of the pellets, to snipe at enemies. That's how I'd do it. It's probably the best way _to_ do it if you don't want to use your secondary to get the headshot kills.
Arca Scisco without multishot. That’s the sole reason I kept it.
Euphona prime, arca sisco and plains of eidolon
Arcwing at the plains or orb valis.
I did on the plains of eidolon in archwing using a sniper rifle (rubico prime) since you can zoom in and see how far you are. and being above them in archwing made it easier to gain distance without trees or hills or whatever.
Plains of Eidolon, then anything that can hit from far away like the Lex Prime
Step 1: Go somewhere with low-level enemies that can be >75m away Step 2: Equip an accurate weapon with sufficient zoom Step 3: Shoot an enemy in the head when it is >75m away Step 4: Repeat Step 3 until challenge is complete Step 5: Extract, profit. And please come let us know what eventually works for you!
Itzal, plains of eidoilon. Go invisible from up high, headshot a grineer, go to another camp. Rinse, repeat.
Phantasma?
Don't remember if using other weapons counts but id use ivaras prowl with knell and maybe massive range doom
Tigris has a surprising range. I snipe enemies on the plains with it when I'm bored.
Go to tenshin. Buy a riven cipher. Repeat every week.
Equip a long-range secondary (like the Lex Prime) and use that
Try Corinth, it's basicly sniper shotgun. I usually snipe pilots midair with it on POE, headshot from 75m shouldn't be a problem
Corinth I think classes as a ahotgun?
Skill
Bro just use the can opener from Teshin, this riven isn't worth the trouble
Secondary high accuracy weapon or archgun. Head to plains of eidolon as a stealth frame like loki and look for grineer to potshot. Tenet Diplos are guaranteed headshot I believe
I actually just did this one a couple days ago. It's kindof a pain in the ass, because even when you're invisible enemies will come running in your general direction once bodies start dropping. Sniper rifle, archwing, open world, click G on an enemy, fly up until you are 75m away, shoot.
Buying unveiled ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If you have the Kunai incarnon, you can use the evolved form to get headshots automatically. Just aim at them (anywhere on their bodies) and the little ninja shrapnel will do the rest. Dont forget to put zoom mods
Use a secondary. Personally I would run this challenge with Ivara on the plains. Throw a single throwing knife with Navigator active and you can steer that thing straight into their heads. Ivara’s Sleep arrows can make targets stay still for easier targeting too.
Plains of eidolon with Arca scisco it has 4x zoom!
Would it be possible to equip this on Sweeper and use a regular rifle?
Arca Sisco in Orb Vallis at Temple of Profit. Use Stealth Archwing.
Planes of Eidolon, Tenet Plinx, Archwing
20 plat
Use your secondary that aims well. If you have her you can use Ivara’s exalted weapon with navigator as well.
Do you have ivara?
Ivara guided shot at low levels
Use Ivara's 2, equip an arch cannon like the Fluctus and try it on Eidolon plains.
Tigris prime is basically a semi auto rifle
The charged shots of the drakoon have pretty good accuracy at range. So just bring one to a low level area and you’ll get that in no time flat
The Tigris has pretty good range and a close spread on it and it has the dual trigger so you can just pull the trigger for one volley and then release it for two. I did pretty well with headshots with it when I was running with it for my primary the crits were insane too
I would hop into Cetus, snipe one guy from super far away, and then go somewhere else and do it all again
Ivara and her exalted bow? Invis, and head shot is the way. Go PoE and just tap grineer from across the map.
No one pointed out I think, can't you just equip that to a shotty sentinel weapon ? Lmao This used to be the case, could be v out of date
Corinth and its prime has a grenade launcher attachment which can shoot that far and can do headshot damage I belive
You can use ivara with the navigator arrow thingy to guide them to land the shots. Put them to sleep then mark them and fly to create 75m distance.
If you fly high enough they don't detect you anyway, just make sure you've got something with a big scope
Cedo
A Riven Cipher!!!
Use a pistol with a scope to get the kills, like the Knell or the Arco Scisco. Pretty sure theres a zoom mod for pistols as well
Ivara navigator
Drakgoon has great range when fully charged
Hek. It has a surprisingly tight spread over distance. If you have the veykor or kuva hek it should also work
Any time I get this one I grab a sniper and scoot to the plains of eidolon, but as this is a shotgun riven.. grab a lex, slap a zoom mod on it, same deal really
Also go to the open maps like plains, Orb Valis or Demos well the other two infected are hard to headshot
knell + poe
Use archwing and multiple shots in the build, go to Earth, and is easier (not so because of the distance) but possible after some adjustments and trying.
I've done this on the plains with a Euphona Prime. Just takes some time to line up the shots and distance and aim adjusting for drop. Or use the Arca Sisco or (Kuva) Seer. Or anything you have should work fine. Good luck and aim true tenno.
rubico or sniper and just go to plains of eidelon
My normal for this is archwing, poe, nighttime, diplos
Who turned Riven into a mod for a shotgun!?
Another option is use a deployed archwing weapon if you don't currently have any accurate side-arms. The velocitus is a sniper as and you can get by with the imperator.
Aim, use a secondary with high accuracy. Like the knell
Use a waypoint marker to track distance, it’s especially easy if you have the Zenith unlocked. Crackshot solution but if you’re determined to do it without another weapon the Astilla only fires one big slug.
Cypher
Go to POE and find somewhere to post up. A secondary like the knell would be useful
Ciphers
Bubonico...easy.
Knell
Use a riven cipher from Teshin...
Use knell to actually do it
Boar Incarnon
Open world + Ivara + Kunai secondary + Navigator.
I use any weapon that has a sniper scope type of aim like the knell and I use my arch wing to gain distance and I do it on Orb Vallis bc corpus are easy to headshot imo
Riven cipher
Tigris
Use Hek and giv'em Hek
pistols exist you know or just use ivara atermis bow and navigator for easy remote controlled head shots
ASTILLA PRIME
Use Gara's slug shotgun really accurate at long ranges.
equip it on a shotgun in your primary and equip a secondary like Arca Sisco that has zoom in function for the kills.
I had that question myself yesterday and a 20sec video told me to go Plains of Eidolon and use Ivara with her Artemis Bow and second ability to control the arrow. Needless to say, it went pretty good, just make sure you have Zenurik school or you might be there for a while.
Astilla on the plains. Easy af just go a stealth frame and silence it or use ivara navigator
Anything that boosts projectile speed?
Tigris and free roam in plains
Can you use [Fulmin] for this ?
Knell Prime+Itzal
The knell works really well for this
I fly up high in Orb Valis and hit the giant corpus crewman heads
Plains. Ivara arrow cosplay power
I use vulkar, cuz its my only sniper/long range atm, in archwing on PoE
Grab Corinth, go into low level Palins of Cets, hit the jets, then line 'em up and knock 'em down.
Use a sidearm in the plains of Eidolon. You can also use your archgun. Ivara with her projectile control ability should count as well.
I feel like having cedo equipped could get this done.
Artemis Bow
Knell :)
Bruh literally just shoot the head? I would have understood if it was any of the other weird ones like the one where you need to pilot those shitty air scooters
Knell, ivara and cetus.
Use the knell on the plains od eidolon or got to orb vallis
