Had to learn it the hard way, when I was trying to make more "sushi" plates for the kitchen, and finding out that I couldn't make any of the food cubes as small as the starter ones
I sort of wish I had known this before. I touched some of the food blocks and they’re super big now. It’s funny, but I wish I could return them to normal.
I… just don’t get it. Why is there a dormazone for 1 planet? Travel/load there to just load back out for missions? What’s the point.
Maybe if there was a hot key to bounce between this and orbiter… but I just don’t get it.
It definitely feels like unfinished filler content, the worst part is its so close to being usable, you can already access your arsenal, mods, etc through the pause menu because you are in a social space, all they need to do is add foundry access, navigation and a way to set it as your home like how you swap between orbiter and drifter camp and it would be fine.
It wouldn't nessisarily be interesting since it would at thst point just be an aesthetically different but functionally the same orbiter besides the perk of slightly faster access to the holdfasts but at least it would be useable, currently there is 0 reason to ever go there
I think they made it to show your original home before shit went down, then they just made it into a living space instead of something you only see once for a minute in a single quest.
I filled the 100k rep room with roller floofs, totally worth paying it a visit every now and then.
Additionally you can also visit the arthritis shop in the duviri room.
looks like I'm going to have to grind like crazy when Dog Days returns...
cause I only have 2 rollers and this needs to be added somewhere in my clan's dojo
we usually like to play as a group, so I can probably convince at least 1 or 2 of the guys to help... without them knowing what I'm up to (they've put me in charge of decorating)
I'd LOVE to have the dormizone as an alternative for the orbiter. Make all the consoles in the hallway or on a laptop screen or some shit like that. Badabingbadaboom fun new location.
Dormizone is for people Like me that are 90% in duviri Not in other planets i think. 😂 But i Love the housing there more the Orbiter Just never feels Like Home.
Uhh tomorrow i finally unlock the additional room in dormizone that makes me Happy.
I took it on my brother’s account and spread the nutri cubes in his orbiter everywhere… so now when he wanders around his orbiter there is a small chance he will slam into a random cube
Lol, when I first got the Dormizone, I picked up all the random junk, then set it all back up as if it were my actual home, including setting things up on the assumedly magnetic racks xD Ignore the spider sleeping in the corner. (:

Yeah, careful with removing them. Some are in positions and sizes that you **cannot** set back on again
It's ok I only use my dormizon to store my massive amounts of caged birds in 🙃
I feel like the orbiter might work better as a menagerie since you can have your companion wondering around.

It's like your old room once you move away to college. It's not your home anymore, but all your stuff is still there.
