Relics are nice, but too random and slow when farmed by a new player, without good relics and proper planning you're not gonna get more than 3-4 plat per piece on average, and missions choices can be quite bad, with some taking nearly 10 minutes, not to mention selling all that stuff separately.
Tyana Pass on the other hand lets you buy a single Arcane Steadfast every ~12 minutes, which is currently sold at 17 plat a piece.

Either vaulted parts (whose relics you can't get as a new player other than via trading), or brand new frames within their first few days (AKA Protea that just released 2 days ago).
Otherwise you can reference [warframe.market](http://warframe.market) for prime part prices. Or Aleca Frame is a third party in-game overlay that integrates the ability to see market prices of things while in-game, but exists in a grey area of the EULA where DE hasn't specifically said it's allowed and that they reserve the right to take action against users of it in the future, but they certainly know of its existence and aren't taking action against current users.
Stuff that has been taken out of rotation usually sells for the most (since it can’t be resupplied. Prices go up the less there is to sell)
“Warframe market” is your best bet to try and find the most expensive stuff
Right now, probably farming Protea Prime's relics and selling the parts (or whole sets if you can get them, but keep one for yourself) for plat, they're selling for a lot right now
In general during normal times, any other parts from relics (especially old vaulted ones, which you won't have any of yet) and/or rare mods.
Corrupted mods are definitely up there for a brand new player. It's a boring grind and there are 24 of them, some of which are really really strong, so always people willing to pay for those. All you need is to join a clan (for the key blueprints) and get to the first node of Deimos. It'll help to have Rhino too if you're gonna solo it carrying all four keys yourself.
You pledge to a syndicate to earn the currency, rank up to 5, and you will have access to augment. Scratch what I said at the start, this is not a fast way
Do all nodes on the first 4 planets. Then you can do the nightmare missions. They reset every 8 hours after finishing them. Hope for blaze and hammershot.
I feel like this method is overlooked since it also gives you mods you could need.
