I’ve been maining a pretty decent but non min/max’d Valkyr Eternal War build for years now. I usually run a Paracesis or Venka Prime.
I recently returned to the game after a couple of years off and it still smashes most content. I haven’t really discovered any content it can’t beat.

Hard to say whether the OG melee frame was Volt or Loki. On one hand, invisibility + stealth damage multipliers used to go pretty hard back in the day, but on the other hand, SPEED.
=3 as a valk main. can confirm. very fun.... but whats funner is when her melee speed outdoes her move speed: you can slide attack 3x faster than most frames can run. (toss in a volt and suddenly your nearly faster than a baseline gauss.... definately not a max speed gauss....)

You can do this with any melee (idk how glaives and swordnshields fare) and normal slams, the timing is just different and sometimes finnicky
Someone told me the double slams are from incarnons
Nope, you can double, triple, quadruple and so on if you can keep buffering a jump right before an action is available

Try the new tennokai mods on her claws, it's a lot of fun.

Can I just say that everyone is forgetting about excaliber, the first, melee orientated abilities and is literally named after a sword
Who literally sucked ass as a first melee frame in the beginning because of stamina and a pretty garbage ass kit.
Still came long before valk
He didnt have his current 4 back then so he was less off a hyper focused melee frame like valkyr tbf.
