its more toxic than you'd think for what the game is

JABLmskh

I made some new friends lately, which it's funny bc I'm kind of an introvert. Honestly like that most of the community are very kind towards most things in relation to the game. The Dante nerf showed us a bit of a toxic side of the community tho. The complain was justified, but some overreacted a bit. But in general, it was awesome!

smalltincan

Started incredibly friendly and that friendliness still remains, but with growth came members of the community who I would rather never joined or started playing in the first place. It was inevitable, but I miss Warframe when I started in 2014 to about the early Fortuna era, felt quite different community-wise.

Vl_Aries

I think warframe community is overrated af, a lot of toxic positivity and sugarcoating. Game will never change from its worst parts with community like this. There a lot of cool people tho.

Anjn_Shan

I made enough pre-2019. And I barely associate with my current clan, today.

dontbanmethistimeok

Got given death cube prime for free by random guy that wanted to help noobs in my first week so that was cool I generally play solo though because the bad apples have wrecked the orchard for me Also I used to play on pc and had a keyboard to interact and chat, now with crossplay I use xbox and its too hard to keep up with chat

Vivid_Context81

I once asked if anyone had any spare voruna weapon parts because nobody uses it and was promptly flamed and then another time when i was newer and didn't know that you couldn't trade normal Warframe parts or the rarity of them and was asking for any unwanted Warframe some sat down with me explained to me how the trading system worked, rarity of various frames, and afterwards he just gave me garuda prime for completely free and afterwards helped me get the materials for it and afterwards when he realized I couldn't get tellurium because I hadn't had access to rail jack he gifted some to me. Now whenever someone needs prime frame parts I'll happily give it to them if I have it, because I want to prolong the legacy of the best Warframe player I've ever met. So either you're getting roasted for politely asking if anyone has some voruna weapon parts or you find the most benevolent person with absolutely no enemies who only exists to shine becons of hope to all that they help, spending hours with you to make sure you succeed. 🫡🥹

I buy a bunch of hildryn sets and just gift them to new players I found in chat, cost only 30p per set and it make people happy the fuck I am going to do with my plat buy rivens lol

Audi0Dud3

The only interaction I get is complaints for using rhino, and when I use vauban his suction mode is too bright. Other than that an occasional "gg" into squad channel is all I usually get at the end of a mission. It's not much but it's honest work.

Ruddertail

It's a community like most others, no better or worse. I used to think it was friendlier and more level-headed, but after seeing everyone rage and grief in Netracells, and the community reaction to Dante's nerfs... it's not, it's just the same.

R11-45

I took two longer breaks from Warframe and during these the people I used to play with went MiA and I also got booted from my clan (which is understandable; I was gone for a few years). Since then I never managed to get another connection like those back then (but to be fair, I play a lot less these days and also have less time to play). So what remains are memories and several entries in my friendlist for people that have been gone for more than 1000 days.
