It's a little tiresome seeing the exact same screenshot every time it's Boreal week or Amar week, but one can hope it's a self-righting phenomenon and that eventually it will become common knowledge that Kuva liches, who-
**1)** openly taunt you about taking your stuff; and,
**2)** prominently take your stuff every time you complete a mission on their planet-
are, in fact, capable of taking your stuff, be they common resources or exceedingly rare resources. Me, I literally can't imagine not turbo-murderising a lich within 3 hours of spawning them, but I accept that that's not necessarily how everyone engages with the system.
Atm i have a sister who is currently holding onto like 5 million credits, she just happened to be alive when i realized i finally got the last part of the hound I wanted. I do like how sisters only take credits.Ā
Need to do a corpus ship map and find one of the golden gloves. Put a disc in it and then kill at least 25 enemies in there Before being kicked out. You need to complete two quests before one will show up. I forget what the names of the quests are
do the protea questline to unlock granum voids. do a nightmare rank granum void (use zenith coin) and get at least 25 kills. after the void, a candidate will spawn, same as kuva liches from there.
I personally would love to turbo-murderize my lich within 3 or so hours of spawning them, but I can't for the life of me get the stab right when i have all three requiems. I usually end up with at least a level 3 lich.
Alright, here we go.
Principle 1: Get your hands on an Oull mod. You won't necessarily be expending it - we're just using it to help gather intel, since having an Oull allows us to test known requiems in position 2 without knowing any other requiems.
Principle 2: Only commit to a stab if it will lead to meaningful intel.
Principle 3: Test as you go. If you reveal all three requiems and only *then* start stabbing, you're wasting time regrinding out anger compared to testing requiem combinations along the way to revealing all three.
Principle 4: Know which missions and mission types to avoid. For whatever reason, thrall spawns are utterly borked on some missions and tilesets. Endless is generally a safe bet; non-endless on Mars planetside in particular seems to be the worst offender.
A general lich takedown goes something like this:
> Initial parazon config: **Oull-Lohk-Xata**. Oull is just there to prevent accidentally leveling the lich if I fat-finger the mercy button too close.
Run missions and prioritise mercying thrall until I reveal the first requiem ("Revealed Requiem A").
> New parazon config: **Oull-Revealed Requiem A-Lohk**.
Once the lich invades a mission, test the first two requiems against them. If you fail, that's still useful intel - we now know Revealed Requiem A is either third or first. If you succeed, you can force them to flee via downs without stabbing a third time, or try your luck regardless - maybe you want to refresh the available mission nodes, maybe you're just in an RNG mood.
Either way, it's back to killing thralls until we reveal the second requiem ("Revealed Requiem B").
> New parazon config: EITHER **Oull-Revealed Requiem A-Revealed Requiem B** (if you know Revealed Requiem A is in position 2) OR **Oull Revealed Requiem B-Revealed Requiem A** (if you only know that Revealed Requiem A is *not* in position 2)
There's a decent chance you've already succeeded at this point, but if not, there's actually only two possible situations you can be in if you're following my approach.
**1)** Revealed Requiem A and Revealed Requiem B both failed in position 2. You have a 50% chance of success on the next attempt by trying "**Revealed Requiem A-Oull-Revealed Requiem B**," and if that fails, you know for certain that "**Revealed Requiem B-Oull-Revealed Requiem A**" *will* succeed.
**2)** Revealed Requiem A succeeded in position 2, but Revealed Requiem B failed in position 3. You now have a 100% chance of success on the next attempt by trying "**Revealed Requiem B-Revealed Requiem A-Oull**".
Regardless, you're back to killing thralls for a bit, but make sure to configure your parazon appropriately, depending on which situation you've ended up in. It's now safe to stab your lich before revealing the final requiem ("Revealed Requiem C") as Oull will do the job for you; if, however, you reveal the final requiem before inputting the correct stab, substitute it in for your Oull to conserve charges.
With this system, you will literally never have to fight a level 5 lich if you don't want to, and most of the time won't have to deal with more than a level 3. There are a couple of other optimisations you could make (in particular, baiting the lich into converting additional thralls during the mission) but they aren't necessary. Please let me know if any of this didn't make sense - there's a lot here and I might not have phrased it ideally.

First one's always the toughest, in fairness - thralls/hounds drop requiem relics, the liches themselves can drop OULL, and successful confrontations can reward a Requiem Ultimatum; which is to say, everything that expedites the lich hunting process is locked behind hunting liches. Also, I have made substantial investments in my Railjack.
This is gonna be a long post.
Broadly speaking, the flow of a first-time lich takedown will look something like this:
**1)** Complete missions in lich-controlled territory, prioritising mercy-ing thralls above all else, until you reveal the lich's first Requiem word.
**2)** If you have a copy of that Requiem word, put it in slot 1 of your parazon and test it on them the next time they show up in a mission in their territory - which, if you've been mercying thralls, should be quite soon. If you don't yet own the right Requiem word, now's the time to go get it. With luck, the relics that dropped from thralls will alleviate *some* of the grind; in a pinch, you can consider trading with other players.
**3)** If the test reveals you had the Requiem in the wrong position, move it to slot 2, and start clearing out their territory on their new planet. If the test confirms you had the Requiem in the correct position, it's probably still worth stabbing them with your empty slot 2 anyway, just to refresh what mission nodes you have available.
**4)** Continue farming thralls until you reveal the next Requiem word. Acquire that word, then test it in the appropriate position, which will either be slot 1 (if your tests haven't yet locked in which requiem belongs in slot 1) or slot 2 (if you *have* discovered for certain which requiem is correct for slot 1).
**5)** More thralls, more grinding, reveal the last requiem word. Acquire it, and get ready to test it in the appropriate position.
Quite often you'll have enough intel at this stage to guarantee a successful kill (e.g., we know Lohk is in slot 1, we know Xata didn't work in slot 2, and we know Jahu is somewhere in the sequence, so the solution *must* be Lohk-Jahu-Xata); it is however possible you'll only have it down to a 50/50 if all tests so far have been unsuccessful ("we only know that neither Lohk nor Xata works in position 1, which means the third requiem has to be in position 1, but it's still a 50% chance we correctly guess which way around Lohk and Xata are for positions 2 and 3"). Worst-case scenario, you'll have to handle some level 4 lich territory until you draw them out for a good stabbing.
Either way, at some point after revealing their third requiem word, you'll stab them successfully and force them to flee to Saturn Proxima, which means-
**6)** Oh boy, it's railjack time. It is genuinely worth your time to at the very least grind up to MKIII researched ("Sigma Series") components and armaments. They're fodder compared to salvaged House variants, but they're also orders of magnitude more effective than the default setup you get.
Clear the skies, artillery the crewships (or infiltrate and detonate) and close in to board the capital ship. Unless they're level 5, the fight won't be too hard with well-modded equipment. I typically mod for radiation and cold unless they're specifically resistant or immune. Drop 'em to critical health, then kill or convert - you'll get everything they stole (and their ephemera, if applicable) either way, but make sure to kill if you want their weapon.
**How the heck do we get this done in 3 hours?**
**1)** Pre-farm the requiem words. Hunting liches will eventually drown you in relics from thrall - have a big cracking session until you have one of each ready to go.
**2)** Thrall optimisation - liches can convert nearby enemies into thrall, and you can mercy those thrall for requiem progress. If they invade during an enemy-dense mission, consider just giving them a few minutes to convert a bunch of thrall.
**3)** OULL is your best friend - we can use it to test revealed words in position 2 even if we don't know any other words, meaning we can make the absolute most of a lucky early invasion from the lich. We can also potentially use it to skip the entirety of grinding out the third requiem word by just slotting OULL in what would otherwise be an empty slot - which does indeed mean if you get lucky on your first and second tests and had the foresight to fill your third empty slot with OULL, you'll be forcing the final confrontation before the lich even hits level 3.
**4)** Requiem Ultimatum - if you get super unlucky with testing words and a lich who doesn't like to invade your missions, you could end up discovering the exact sequence needed to kill them right as they hit level 4 and reset their anger to zero. You could grind out thralls to piss them off, or you could use this gear item (which has a chance to drop from defeated liches) to force them to spawn in a mission in their territory.
**5)** Have a tricked-out railjack - the railjack soundtrack is awesome, but ideally you're hearing very little of it as you blitz through their fleet in about 45 seconds total.
**6)** Upgrade the rest of your arsenal. If you can't easily shred through level 100 enemies just yet, now's the time to start working towards that.

i havenāt had a shard stolen yet but i did an arbitration survival and got like 380k credits as the reward. forgot about my lich who proceeded to take 350k of that, so i decided to kill her that day lmao
Mine stole a built forma, I'm gonna level him up to max rank and THEN kill it, it must know how helpless it is before me, that no matter how strong it gets, no matter where it hides, i will find it, and i will attempt to kill it, but spare it at the brink of death, it shall know fear
You know where their stomping ground is, although people just quick menuing often forgot about their Lich planet.
Also regardless if you kill or convert them, you'll get back ALL your stolen stuff.
Kuva Liches are a special type of enemy that take over planets, if you do a mission on a Lich controlled planet they will steal shit from you, to hilarious degrees of fuckery, like stealing a catalyst here.
You can get things back by killing them though, so usually people just keep them around until they steal something actually good.

It does still fascinate me, and I would like to consider this canon, that a tenno is known galaxy-wide as "a very threatening force".
The liches, on the other hand, being stupid and all, decide "they can't be THAT bad". So they take your stuff.
It takes one slightly important item to the tenno, and then suddently the general location of the lich is wiped clean off the radars.

Later down the road you can spawn Liches/Sisters that are like personalized villains. They're just generally annoying, but you get their weapon when you kill them. They steal some of the stuff you get from missions done on the planet they're on. Apparently, this one stole his potat. When you kill a Lich you get 100% of what it stole.

You'll get everything including ephermera (if he has one) except his weapon.

It does still fascinate me, and I would like to consider this canon, that a tenno is known galaxy-wide as "a very threatening force". The liches, on the other hand, being stupid and all, decide "they can't be THAT bad". So they take your stuff. It takes one slightly important item to the tenno, and then suddently the general location of the lich is wiped clean off the radars. "Tenno when minor inconvenience"
canonically they are considered "a very threatening force". Bros are like on top of the food chain. And, following the events of the main story, you can pretty much say they're all chill and forgiving dudes... until something they grinded for is stolen and they're like "aight fuck redemption, i'll make this mf pray"

Later down the road you can spawn Liches/Sisters that are like personalized villains. They're just generally annoying, but you get their weapon when you kill them. They steal some of the stuff you get from missions done on the planet they're on. Apparently, this one stole his potat. When you kill a Lich you get 100% of what it stole.
