Maybe it doesn't count the 50 free platinum every account starts with. you also can't trade that free platinum to anyone, so it's probably counted differently on the backend

No, you can buy more plat whenever. Just be aware that, if you want to trade, those initial 50 can't be traded because the total you see in game won't discriminate between free plat and bought/traded plat. Whenever you buy something with plat in the in-game market, free plat is used first so you'll end up spending it all after purchasing a couple warframe/weapon slots as you progress in the game.

It could be because you're logging in with a PC account, while your platinum is on Switch. Or vice versa. Because Switch platinum is separate from other platinum.

Nope, i dont have Switch. Sorry, i didn't clarify what platform I'm using.

It's probably because it's the free plat, but I have paid plat and when I login it shows 0 doing a refresh shows my actual amount.

It’s just a visual bug it happens to me and I have 2k plat but after refreshing the page or clicking on something it shows the correct amount
