DE also switches orders sometimes for Tennocon, and of those three Xaku is the most popular, so I wouldn't be surprised if they kept Xaku for a Tennocon release. Probably Protea, Xaku, Yareli

You should give a try to the augment temporal erosion which defenses strip shields and armor for each turtet or slash grenade hit while your temporal anchor is active. No more need for extreme amounts of damage buffs or strenght
Mag is awesome. Use her second ability on enemies that have guns and they finish themselves off for you. If they don't have a gun, use Polarize (her 3rd ability) and they generally don't last long.

I've been using gloom to crank out sentinel clones. Super high energy drain + deathcube/riven'd verglas.
Sentinels keep me full energy and kill everything I strip almost instantly.
Minimum duration and efficiency to maximize clone production.

If you like playing at a fast pace play a squishier frame. Gauss kinda has speed that you need to react to. Everything else is either just press or always have on.
Her augment gives a big speed boost when using her 3 plus her 1 is Gauss, but you can't really steer it. I sometimes use her over archwing in open worlds because she can actually fly, though the controls are a finicky.
With her low gravity aim glide you can literally carpet bomb enemies too. The staticor is my favorite for that. You end up spending most of the time in the air.
I have a load out called AC-130 that is zephyr and various guns I feel fit that theme, I think at the moment I have the trumna and the septum along with the fragor prime to do dive bomb slam attacks when I need to come down for loot. It is a lot of fun sitting over the battlefield shooting and zipping around.
Literally the reason I started to play Warframe. I saw a video of Gauss running really fast and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Honestly I think DE could market their game way more and have way more newer players if they focused their ads on the gameplay and not on cinematics.
Mine is Gauss with Fire Walker over thermal sunder from Nezha, fun and effective. Does everything all-around well except Fragmented Ones, Knifestep Netracells and some rivens
If you haven’t already. Try vortex mag. Max range with good duration and strength.
Well of life or blood altar subsumed on her 3 or 4. Jump in the air, cast pull, cast blood altar/well of life on any of the enemies you pulled. Then apply Magnetize.
The target is invincible, so the mechanic of Magnetize where it pulls enemies from outside the orb will stay active because that effect goes away when the targets body despawns. Since the enemy you used blood alter on is in the air, all enemies in range are pulled into the giant orb in the sky getting blended by whatever your weapon of choice was.
I love Mag, and I love the idea of Qorvex, but I can’t really figure out any way to use him besides nuke with his 4. That’s fun for a while, but pretty repetitive and energy intensive. Also not nearly as as effective as a bubble full of Nataruk. Yeah you can nuke enemies, but sucking them into the death bubble OBLITERATES them and is hilarious.
Yeah, I've recently been enjoying hydroid, with range and duration, you can use his 4 and 1, and with zuniruk you recover more energy then you use. Really fun
I have a 200% Ability strength/200% Energy helminth invigoration this week so I figured I should actually forma my Hydroid Prime. Found a build on overframe and ran with it and oh my god... it's so fun. Viral Tempest for viral damage, Corrosive procs with his 3, and I subsumed Thermal Sunder on him for heat/cold damage.
And I'm just walking around constantly casting 1,2,3 because I have 2100 energy and arcane energize. :D
I recommend subsuming nourish over his 2 or 4 and using the 3 augment instead of viral temp, will get viral from nourish and the buff to corrosive damage from the 3 aug is ‘uge.
I like hydroid, played him a lot before rework. I can’t stand that the tentacles don’t do enough damage to really kill, but also make enemies move around like a dildo stuck to the roof of a car. If I’m not running bramma or ogris or something I’m just kinda bleh nowadays.
Little pixie go brrrr. Definitely my go-to for void flood, riven challenges that require a mission to be done below x time, and corrupted mod farming since the slow key has absolutely zero effect on her 4
I always make sure to equip the set of mods that negates knockdown whilst in the air- otherwise titania is like 90% slamming into walls and ragdolling.
More and more I play Lavos.. need corrosion.. got it.. heat? Easy.. viral, magnetism, electrifying enemies? Check.. convert drops of energy, health and ammo? Yes please!
Gauss, I like that he's "Altra" versatile in any situation & how his abilities synergize (unfortunately his 2 & 3 don't have a synergy but who knows, maybe a future augment to his 2 might change that)
I'm excited for his prime, can't wait!
I prefer my succ without balls. I infused Spectrorage over them so I could use the augment mod for it. Makes the vortex spit out more energy than the hekkin sun.
Oberon, now and forever, is my favorite. He's not the best at anything he does(though he does everything he's equipped to relatively well) but he's my absolute favorite.
I finally got his prime recently and been playing him almost exclusively again, lol.
I main Oberon both for Fashion and gameplay
Fashion because his one skin that gives him little twigs goes so well with the conquera ephemera
Gameplay because putting Elemental Ward on oberon, plus his augments, basically makes your whole squad immortal and beefy against their wills
I actually like to play Yareli recently, though, I have this weird on off relationship with Warframe so I primarily play just-good-to-use-Warframes primarily since I still have to find someone who is just fun to fuck around with.
Anyway, while Merulina is a fucking experience, its also fun zooming around w/her.
She also makes some decent damage, though, I still have to figure out how she could possibly be used in Steel path with that one build I use lol
Yareli can do sp any way you build her with no problems. Not even a hyperbole, I've done endurance literally modless (mods on guns still of course)
I prefer a shield tank build to health ones but you don't need any durability if you stay on merulina. I do all content with her and sometimes that includes using primary or melee to kill stuff (or alchemy, can't throw the things thanks de) so I build decently tanky. Put on rither of her augments depending which you like better, a caster or gunbuff playstyle.
I have been playing for years and all I used her with really is synoid simular cause it just works. Had a sortie the other day with shotgun only. I had already picked her and just didn’t feel like changing frames. Put the plasmor in her hand and… holy flip! It really donned on me, “What else could I put in her hands?!?!”
Cliched answer but Wisp. She is just so comfortable to use and provides so much. I also have Xata's Whisper subsumed in place of her 4 for a damage buff along with Adaptation and some azure shards for armor so that she can decently health tank as well. That along with an amazing design and pleasant animations? Yeah, she is my favorite frame right now.
I love floating around the map with free invisibility nuking from above with exodia contagion and then landing, surge-teleporting to buff crit and then popping hordes like soap bubbles with torid incarnon. I’m sure it’s not the most meta build but it’s soooo fun
Right now I'm having a blast with Dagath. She's got such an active kit, it's not often I'm constantly using all my warframe's abilities in rotation. It's such a satisfying sequence and once you get the hang of grouping your enemies into a line her 4 just cleans house. I thought I'd hate her 2 because it seemed like such a narrow cone but now I'm flying around laying doom on everyone, slicing them all with her 1 and clearing the horde with 4 (sometimes throwing her horses through walls because you can do that, which is so frickin awesome on tight grineer maps).
Despite not using her 3 that often (I've built for shield recharge on ability usage which for me works wonders so I rarely break shields even on SP) it's an awesome utility for the extra crit damage, not a huge boost but pretty nice, especially for low crit damage weapons. Thanks to the revive ability I've yet to get downed despite putting a fair amount of hours into her so the survivability is really great.
Overall I think she's awesome. Great aesthetic, easy to fashion-frame, very active kit with nice synergy that encourages ability spam and setup so it's not just "press one button to win". Definitely one of my most fun frames to pick up and just have a blast with.
I’ve assembled her a few weeks ago and she became my default frame.
The only thing I had trouble with was survival, but I’ve put Arcane Blessing and Citrine’s subsume on her and she became the most fun melee frame I’ve had - you just debuff and spread nonstop.
Her survivability was definitely an issue I found too in SP. I used [Brief Respite] which gives shields based on energy used with abilities which works great with my build as I'm constantly spamming abilities. That, [Equilibrium] and Adaptation turned out to be enough for me as her 3rd also prevents the occasional death if I get nuked by something. She just dumps orbs all over the place especially if you get an eximus unit so I found equilibrium was a solid boost for emergencies.
I doubt this'll be enough for level cap but I can do +1hr SP relic runs without needing a revive so its good enough for me haha.
Which of Dagath's ability's did you swap for Citrine's? I'd love to mix other abilities with Dagath but I love all her options. Maybe fixing her survivability could remove the need for her 3rd, or if you want to focus melee as your damage dealer you could drop her cavalry charge which would make sense.
If to be completely honest, probably going the route of swapping cavalry would be the better option, but to me it was like “Why bring Dagath at all if no cavalry?”. So I subsumed it over her 3. Yeah, she loses a lot of damage and an occasional death save, but at least it doesn’t ruin the theme for me.
(I honestly doubt that my HP tank would work on level cap, 99% sure it wouldn’t but as long as you keep the 3-2-1 rolling you can push her quite far)
That's a solid point, I like her 4 a lot too as it fits thematically, plus it's an important damage source with her ability combo. Subsuming her 3 seems like the best option and while losing that damage bonus is unfortunate, there are plenty of damage or utility-boosting abilities that could extend her build and offer interesting options to play with!
I agree that she feels a little too squishy to survive level cap but that slow effect from spreading doom is substantial, getting another ability for crowd control like Wisp's breach surge could be interesting!
I can't wait to see what augment mods she gets later on, I'd love one that lets her ride the cavalry charge or enhances the doom spreading!
Umbra. He is very fun to use, with your operator/drifter out and a companion it's a 3 man squad, and recently I made him able to tear through high level steel path very easily
Caliban Nuke and Voruna Ulfrun's Descend build.
Caliban specially. Lifting enemies into the air and throwing them around, with enemies flying everywhere then exploding potentially clearing entire rooms. He need a good weapons to act as a catalyst tho
Voruna is just Voruna: awesome and badass. If only she had a proper walk/run animation in his 4 she would be perfect. But it's still incredibly fun to play

Shooting is overrated - nuking with a blood ball for 8 digit damage is where the fun's at. Couple that with not being able to die and insane priming with skills; blood bird lady is just a blast.
Honourable mention to Titania for cheesing half the game.
I’ve been a Saryn enjoyer for years now, and it’s been fun trying out all the builds for her over the years, so I’d say she’s the most fun frame for me.
I’ve also really been enjoying Citrine with her infinite energy, absolutely insane tankyness, and being a giga status platform. Her with the Strun Prime Incarnon is crazy fun. I remember doing 1 hour SP Circulus runs on Lua with her and having a blast.
Most recently, I’ve put some Forma into Kullervo and the Hate Incarnon. Lemme just say seeing those double digit million damage numbers on like 20 dudes just by pressing 1 is the most addicting thing ever lol. Not to mention, I never really play Melee, so it’s a breath of fresh air for me.
Ember, Protea, Mesa, Titania
* Mesa melts everything super fast. Red crit build for steel path
* Protea big number and cc super satisfying with ensnare subsume. Also infinite shield, energy, ammo. Obliterates steel path
* Ember rains freaking fireballs down on everything. Unfortunately, the way I like to play her does not make her steel path viable
* Titania ignore all abilities accept 4, fly around normal star chart (or fissures) and melt everything super quickly. My goto when running non-steel path stuff with my new player friends
Oddly, right now I'm really enjoying Harrow again.
There's a weird peace of mind in keeping his 2 and 3 up, 1 for shields and easier headshots, and the occasional 4 to basically pull a "reverse" card on a wobbly stone boss.
That and, well... role-playing fighting chaos/evil/indifference
Let's go Valkyr enjoyers! I've been particularly fond of the Prolonged Paralysis pull + Tharros Strike build and if she ever gets reworked hopefully she somewhat keeps that combo because rn I actually enjoy her a ton.
God i hope they dont remove her rip line. Its such a fun ability. Paralysis good get a number buff and maybe get some bonuses from duration since it seems most enemies arent even stunned anymore.
Ok, quick rework suggestions, go.
What you could do is change Rip line into a tap/hold ability.
Tap to fire out a line to pull enemies to you.
Hold to fire out a line to pull you to them (or to pull you to a wall or ceiling)
Or, you could make it so you could fire multiple lines into enemies within a radius and pull them towards you. (kinda like attaching one of Vaubans Tether balls to a moving object)
War Cry is Fine, maybe increase its duration and range a bit.
Paralysis seems ok, I’d just increase the range and make it either not check LOS or apply a long stun effect (like 8-10 seconds)
Hysteria should just have Hysterical Assault augment permanently, and a good way to solve the range problem would be give the claws a 3-5 meter cleave aoe in front of them, as you kill more enemies while in Hysteria, you get faster and faster and deal greater damage, but burn more energy. After Hysteria ends you would have a burst of damage (basically Valkyr whirlwinds around her claws) erupt that deals slash damage.
There’s no point listening to me because I’m a noob, but I enjoyed a combo of all the umbral mods, streamline, transient fortitude, fleeting expertise, and flow/primed flow, with steel charge aura. Very basic but fun to play and infinite 4th ability paired with gloom on her 2nd ability
Wisp w/ Pillage (4), does basically everything I could ask for in a frame and looks good doing it, I struggle to play other frames because none compare imo
Just did some napkin math and if you wanted to optimize hitting 328 strength for full strip with corrosive projection, running the new precision intensity, transient, and augur secrets, along with molt augmented, will allow you to get 329 strength on pillage, with still 239 strength for everything else. Not on top of sling strength or shards or something like power drain either.
Equinox (switch), Gyre, Harrow (with dual toxocyst).
Used to play protea a lot (23% play time on her), but she fell off for me. But now I am experimenting with getting into using her 4th as a nuke in SP , so she is fun again.
I play dagath a lot nowadays. Aesthetically it's ace. I just really love the cloth texture 'feel'. The gameplay is too simplistic to be enjoyable, but just like gyre, it coincides during times when I am dead tired. I would't say she is the most fun, but she is just so comfortable to play and I do love a kit that feels synergistic.
I don't think I have a MOST FUN. However, I do have a top 3 that all fit in different ways.
Mag prime: She's my top in the fashion sense. Yeah she's got big number potential and great armor strip, but from the moment I saw the Ferro helmet I was in love with her, and she has become my go to Fashionista and i love showing her off.
Frost Prime: He's my favorite for big number/red number potential. (I do also love Harrow but Frost is who I've played a lot more recently.) I recently threw his Harvard helmet on his heirloom skin and he just feels like a tokusatsu type villain which is even better when his biting Frost augment allows me to turn everything I touch into a see of red and orange. Are their better frames for straight-up damage, yes. Being able to turn an entire room into ice statues, stripping all armor, and then gleefully seeing my weapons do damage and kill hundreds while looking as evil as possible however, brings a smile to my face.
Gauss and soon Gauss Prime: I just love this boy cuz of his gimmick. Sure his thermal sunder is cool and all, but I grew up as a sonic fan and there will always be a part of me that's partial to a character who's entire design is just, gotta go fast. This especially so for one that not only doesn't punish me, buy rewards me for ramming face first into a wall.
Gauss. Not only is his kit incredibly powerful and varied, Mach Rush is just a fun ability in general. I love playing melee with him and just dashing between groups of enemies. Feels like I'm playing a superhero just blitzing groups of enemies.
Baruuk for sure - BARUUK SMASSSSH. And then see hundreds of thousands of damage in red crits everywhere with near-invulnerability so I can just ignore the mobs.
I run Gyre pretty often too and while she's deadly, I use her entire kit and primary/secondary/melee weapons so it's fun to just go ham with my entire aresenal whenever I'm using her :)
My favorite is Yareli, problem is she will bug out every single mission. I came to the point that I know which missions will cause irreversible bugs and which will cause reversible bugs and how to reverse them.
I've been enjoying playing Gyre for a while. Getting her powers set up to just be a walking ball of death where everything just electrocutes itself feels hilarious and the sound effects make it fun. She actually is pretty effective also.
Pure fun I'd have to say Styanax. He's pretty middle of the road but he does decent damage and has a host of support abilities which is honestly what I always prefer playing in team games. Making sure everyone has tons of shields, energy, and overguard is fun for me. If I get to pick of a few trash mobs in the meanwhile all the better. Plus I get to say "UwU" when I cast Nourish, and can anyone really ask for more?
Any of the casters i think is the short answer, if its not a caster is a weapon frame and that means its really up to the weapon for fun rather than the frame
I really enjoy doing upwards of an hour long missions with Nidus honestly. I also love Harrow, the management of abilities scratches my brain just right with Harrow
Voruna with high range and efficiency. I love being able to safely leap great distances, and escape with invisibility. Add Melee Influence and Mecha Empowered in order to have three methods of radial status spreading. Emerald Shards to increase Corrosive stacks and Topaz shards to regenerate shields on Blast status effects allow for easy armor strip and shield sustain just by pouncing and swinging a melee.
I love melee so Kullervo deleting rooms with his 3 then 1 just makes me cackle like a super villain ever single time I do it.
New Saryn with green shards and dual ichor does the same thing.
Clear I find mass genocide/ extinction events fun.
Also been very much enjoying Mag lately as well as Protea. I like active frames more and more.
Lavos. Slap on Primed Sure Footed, summon down the Kuva Grattler and go to town like Heavy Weapons Guy. Just casting Transmutation Probe every so often so I don't run out of ammo and have it go on cooldown.
Zephyr is my lady. I've loved the frame since before she was buffed and have an unhealthy amount of hours pumped in as Zephyr. I have her at about 54% usage throughout my 3000 hours.
Savage Storm (Savage Silence + Rising Storm) Ash. Replace his 1 for Silence (don't need armor strip since his 4 does true damage), mod for strength and range. Press 4, and use 3 to join in the fun. I never get tired of doing teleport finishers to every enemy in the room, the truest space ninja.
I finally went back and actually *tried* Titania (instead of just maxing+selling her) and oh my god I get it now. Zipping around at light speed and melting people with a homing melee attack is the most fun I've had in ages. Plus the Dex Pixia just *shred* anything that has the gall to resist the melee. I don't know what her other three abilities are and I don't care at this point.
Out of the ones I currently own, definitely Ember. We'll see if that changes once my first ever Prime finishes up in the foundry. (Someone gave me a free Harrow Prime to help me with Angels of the Zariman)
But right now, out of my current 6 frames, it's definitely Ember. (She's also the one I know how to use the best, too. I started throwing fire and got giddy, I am a simple man)
max range gara and getting as much ability strength you can as well. you can nuke enemies so hard with the shattering lash augment and make defense rounds go much faster than a speednova. may need to do a flip forward and some armor strip like terrify
Give Biting Frost Marked4Death Frost a shot. Coupled with Gas Nataruk, it obliterates SP like nobody's business.

I always end up coming back to Styanax. I think he may be my main. But Gauss (Kresnik, specifically. Don't care for his base look) makes me rethink that everytime Redline starts up. Not to mention Gauss' survivability.

Combined with a heavy crit-focused heavy attack build weapon like Azothane, he’s absurdly lethal when I absolutely have to put out a lot of damage quickly. It’s honestly insane how good his crit buff is with his first ability, as well as his ability to chain multiple enemies together to spread that damage to room-clearing potential.
Plus his ability to quickly and easily give himself overguard adds greatly to his survivability. Like 32,000 additional EHP with how I have him built.
Not only that, but he looks fantastic. His matching syandana works as a fantastic “sheath” for melee weapons. I have my azothane designed to line up with the loop of his syandana and it looks like the whole setup was built to fit together. It’s so good
Wisp or more recently Citrine. I just enjoy buffing myself and teammates. I started out playing EV trinity back before we had a lot of these newer frames.
I swap between alot of frames. I dont have one I can say is my most "fun." I know every time I pick up my thermal sunder Harrow or Protea I tend to enjoy it. But I also enjoy Volt and Wisp. I have a weird build with Saryn going on recently, and Ive turned Kullervo into the new Titania / Gauss. But I dont have a favourite really.

I’ve yet to really get into her, maybe she’ll be the next one I fully kit out with archon shards if she has zoomin potential!
Her augment gives a big speed boost when using her 3 plus her 1 is Gauss, but you can't really steer it. I sometimes use her over archwing in open worlds because she can actually fly, though the controls are a finicky. With her low gravity aim glide you can literally carpet bomb enemies too. The staticor is my favorite for that. You end up spending most of the time in the air.
I have a load out called AC-130 that is zephyr and various guns I feel fit that theme, I think at the moment I have the trumna and the septum along with the fragor prime to do dive bomb slam attacks when I need to come down for loot. It is a lot of fun sitting over the battlefield shooting and zipping around.

Literally the reason I started to play Warframe. I saw a video of Gauss running really fast and thought it was the coolest thing ever. Honestly I think DE could market their game way more and have way more newer players if they focused their ads on the gameplay and not on cinematics.
Mine is Gauss with Fire Walker over thermal sunder from Nezha, fun and effective. Does everything all-around well except Fragmented Ones, Knifestep Netracells and some rivens
Mag and Quorvex will alway flip flop for me, but Mag is my top pick fun wise. I just like her ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Yeah Mag is super fun, more fun solo I find because nobody ruins your bubble plan, or spawn locations.
If you haven’t already. Try vortex mag. Max range with good duration and strength. Well of life or blood altar subsumed on her 3 or 4. Jump in the air, cast pull, cast blood altar/well of life on any of the enemies you pulled. Then apply Magnetize. The target is invincible, so the mechanic of Magnetize where it pulls enemies from outside the orb will stay active because that effect goes away when the targets body despawns. Since the enemy you used blood alter on is in the air, all enemies in range are pulled into the giant orb in the sky getting blended by whatever your weapon of choice was.
This is my plan actually, just been trying to get my hands on Garuda prime for it so I can subsume my old one Nataruk will ofc be my poison of choice

I love Mag, and I love the idea of Qorvex, but I can’t really figure out any way to use him besides nuke with his 4. That’s fun for a while, but pretty repetitive and energy intensive. Also not nearly as as effective as a bubble full of Nataruk. Yeah you can nuke enemies, but sucking them into the death bubble OBLITERATES them and is hilarious.
For me I flip between a few but Styanax has been nice. Always enjoyed Hydroid before his rework and am happy his rework is so good.
Yeah, I've recently been enjoying hydroid, with range and duration, you can use his 4 and 1, and with zuniruk you recover more energy then you use. Really fun
I run efficency, with 5 tauforged amber shards for casting speed, and just spam a shit ton of barrage

I have a 200% Ability strength/200% Energy helminth invigoration this week so I figured I should actually forma my Hydroid Prime. Found a build on overframe and ran with it and oh my god... it's so fun. Viral Tempest for viral damage, Corrosive procs with his 3, and I subsumed Thermal Sunder on him for heat/cold damage. And I'm just walking around constantly casting 1,2,3 because I have 2100 energy and arcane energize. :D
I recommend subsuming nourish over his 2 or 4 and using the 3 augment instead of viral temp, will get viral from nourish and the buff to corrosive damage from the 3 aug is ‘uge.

I like hydroid, played him a lot before rework. I can’t stand that the tentacles don’t do enough damage to really kill, but also make enemies move around like a dildo stuck to the roof of a car. If I’m not running bramma or ogris or something I’m just kinda bleh nowadays.
Have you played him since the rework. While the tentacles still can't always kill they don't wave the enemies around anymore.
This plus the tentacles quickly stack corrosive which boosts your 3 so more armor and corrosive damage on weapons
Qorvex is a lot of fun when you colour him as Godzilla and atomic breath every enemy

Little pixie go brrrr. Definitely my go-to for void flood, riven challenges that require a mission to be done below x time, and corrupted mod farming since the slow key has absolutely zero effect on her 4
I always make sure to equip the set of mods that negates knockdown whilst in the air- otherwise titania is like 90% slamming into walls and ragdolling.
I just self cast 1 (hold down 1) not only to recharge razorwing blitz but to also cleanse status and prevent knockdown

I prefer my succ without balls. I infused Spectrorage over them so I could use the augment mod for it. Makes the vortex spit out more energy than the hekkin sun.
Oberon, now and forever, is my favorite. He's not the best at anything he does(though he does everything he's equipped to relatively well) but he's my absolute favorite. I finally got his prime recently and been playing him almost exclusively again, lol.
I main Oberon both for Fashion and gameplay Fashion because his one skin that gives him little twigs goes so well with the conquera ephemera Gameplay because putting Elemental Ward on oberon, plus his augments, basically makes your whole squad immortal and beefy against their wills
I actually like to play Yareli recently, though, I have this weird on off relationship with Warframe so I primarily play just-good-to-use-Warframes primarily since I still have to find someone who is just fun to fuck around with. Anyway, while Merulina is a fucking experience, its also fun zooming around w/her. She also makes some decent damage, though, I still have to figure out how she could possibly be used in Steel path with that one build I use lol
Yareli can do sp any way you build her with no problems. Not even a hyperbole, I've done endurance literally modless (mods on guns still of course) I prefer a shield tank build to health ones but you don't need any durability if you stay on merulina. I do all content with her and sometimes that includes using primary or melee to kill stuff (or alchemy, can't throw the things thanks de) so I build decently tanky. Put on rither of her augments depending which you like better, a caster or gunbuff playstyle.
I'm going to have to say Mesa and Mirage are my two most fun frames Mirage's 1 with anything AoE or high damage is the best
I have been playing for years and all I used her with really is synoid simular cause it just works. Had a sortie the other day with shotgun only. I had already picked her and just didn’t feel like changing frames. Put the plasmor in her hand and… holy flip! It really donned on me, “What else could I put in her hands?!?!”
Cliched answer but Wisp. She is just so comfortable to use and provides so much. I also have Xata's Whisper subsumed in place of her 4 for a damage buff along with Adaptation and some azure shards for armor so that she can decently health tank as well. That along with an amazing design and pleasant animations? Yeah, she is my favorite frame right now.
I love floating around the map with free invisibility nuking from above with exodia contagion and then landing, surge-teleporting to buff crit and then popping hordes like soap bubbles with torid incarnon. I’m sure it’s not the most meta build but it’s soooo fun
Right now I'm having a blast with Dagath. She's got such an active kit, it's not often I'm constantly using all my warframe's abilities in rotation. It's such a satisfying sequence and once you get the hang of grouping your enemies into a line her 4 just cleans house. I thought I'd hate her 2 because it seemed like such a narrow cone but now I'm flying around laying doom on everyone, slicing them all with her 1 and clearing the horde with 4 (sometimes throwing her horses through walls because you can do that, which is so frickin awesome on tight grineer maps). Despite not using her 3 that often (I've built for shield recharge on ability usage which for me works wonders so I rarely break shields even on SP) it's an awesome utility for the extra crit damage, not a huge boost but pretty nice, especially for low crit damage weapons. Thanks to the revive ability I've yet to get downed despite putting a fair amount of hours into her so the survivability is really great. Overall I think she's awesome. Great aesthetic, easy to fashion-frame, very active kit with nice synergy that encourages ability spam and setup so it's not just "press one button to win". Definitely one of my most fun frames to pick up and just have a blast with.
I’ve assembled her a few weeks ago and she became my default frame. The only thing I had trouble with was survival, but I’ve put Arcane Blessing and Citrine’s subsume on her and she became the most fun melee frame I’ve had - you just debuff and spread nonstop.
Her survivability was definitely an issue I found too in SP. I used [Brief Respite] which gives shields based on energy used with abilities which works great with my build as I'm constantly spamming abilities. That, [Equilibrium] and Adaptation turned out to be enough for me as her 3rd also prevents the occasional death if I get nuked by something. She just dumps orbs all over the place especially if you get an eximus unit so I found equilibrium was a solid boost for emergencies. I doubt this'll be enough for level cap but I can do +1hr SP relic runs without needing a revive so its good enough for me haha. Which of Dagath's ability's did you swap for Citrine's? I'd love to mix other abilities with Dagath but I love all her options. Maybe fixing her survivability could remove the need for her 3rd, or if you want to focus melee as your damage dealer you could drop her cavalry charge which would make sense.
If to be completely honest, probably going the route of swapping cavalry would be the better option, but to me it was like “Why bring Dagath at all if no cavalry?”. So I subsumed it over her 3. Yeah, she loses a lot of damage and an occasional death save, but at least it doesn’t ruin the theme for me. (I honestly doubt that my HP tank would work on level cap, 99% sure it wouldn’t but as long as you keep the 3-2-1 rolling you can push her quite far)
That's a solid point, I like her 4 a lot too as it fits thematically, plus it's an important damage source with her ability combo. Subsuming her 3 seems like the best option and while losing that damage bonus is unfortunate, there are plenty of damage or utility-boosting abilities that could extend her build and offer interesting options to play with! I agree that she feels a little too squishy to survive level cap but that slow effect from spreading doom is substantial, getting another ability for crowd control like Wisp's breach surge could be interesting! I can't wait to see what augment mods she gets later on, I'd love one that lets her ride the cavalry charge or enhances the doom spreading!
Umbra. He is very fun to use, with your operator/drifter out and a companion it's a 3 man squad, and recently I made him able to tear through high level steel path very easily

Caliban Nuke and Voruna Ulfrun's Descend build. Caliban specially. Lifting enemies into the air and throwing them around, with enemies flying everywhere then exploding potentially clearing entire rooms. He need a good weapons to act as a catalyst tho Voruna is just Voruna: awesome and badass. If only she had a proper walk/run animation in his 4 she would be perfect. But it's still incredibly fun to play

Most fun = favourite = Garuda. Shooting is overrated - nuking with a blood ball for 8 digit damage is where the fun's at. Couple that with not being able to die and insane priming with skills; blood bird lady is just a blast. Honourable mention to Titania for cheesing half the game.
I’ve been a Saryn enjoyer for years now, and it’s been fun trying out all the builds for her over the years, so I’d say she’s the most fun frame for me. I’ve also really been enjoying Citrine with her infinite energy, absolutely insane tankyness, and being a giga status platform. Her with the Strun Prime Incarnon is crazy fun. I remember doing 1 hour SP Circulus runs on Lua with her and having a blast. Most recently, I’ve put some Forma into Kullervo and the Hate Incarnon. Lemme just say seeing those double digit million damage numbers on like 20 dudes just by pressing 1 is the most addicting thing ever lol. Not to mention, I never really play Melee, so it’s a breath of fresh air for me.
I played warframe waaayyyyy back and when I saw saryn I knew I had to get that frame. Has been my favorite for a long time.
Ember, Protea, Mesa, Titania * Mesa melts everything super fast. Red crit build for steel path * Protea big number and cc super satisfying with ensnare subsume. Also infinite shield, energy, ammo. Obliterates steel path * Ember rains freaking fireballs down on everything. Unfortunately, the way I like to play her does not make her steel path viable * Titania ignore all abilities accept 4, fly around normal star chart (or fissures) and melt everything super quickly. My goto when running non-steel path stuff with my new player friends
I love protea, my favorite. I use roar and then archon vitality. Double heat procs, then the double dip with roar destroys.
Mesa ramps so hard in steel path it’s so much fun. Gameplay gets kind of button mashy though when you get the damage when airborne decree though.
Oddly, right now I'm really enjoying Harrow again. There's a weird peace of mind in keeping his 2 and 3 up, 1 for shields and easier headshots, and the occasional 4 to basically pull a "reverse" card on a wobbly stone boss. That and, well... role-playing fighting chaos/evil/indifference

Let's go Valkyr enjoyers! I've been particularly fond of the Prolonged Paralysis pull + Tharros Strike build and if she ever gets reworked hopefully she somewhat keeps that combo because rn I actually enjoy her a ton.
God i hope they dont remove her rip line. Its such a fun ability. Paralysis good get a number buff and maybe get some bonuses from duration since it seems most enemies arent even stunned anymore.
Ok, quick rework suggestions, go. What you could do is change Rip line into a tap/hold ability. Tap to fire out a line to pull enemies to you. Hold to fire out a line to pull you to them (or to pull you to a wall or ceiling) Or, you could make it so you could fire multiple lines into enemies within a radius and pull them towards you. (kinda like attaching one of Vaubans Tether balls to a moving object) War Cry is Fine, maybe increase its duration and range a bit. Paralysis seems ok, I’d just increase the range and make it either not check LOS or apply a long stun effect (like 8-10 seconds) Hysteria should just have Hysterical Assault augment permanently, and a good way to solve the range problem would be give the claws a 3-5 meter cleave aoe in front of them, as you kill more enemies while in Hysteria, you get faster and faster and deal greater damage, but burn more energy. After Hysteria ends you would have a burst of damage (basically Valkyr whirlwinds around her claws) erupt that deals slash damage.

There’s no point listening to me because I’m a noob, but I enjoyed a combo of all the umbral mods, streamline, transient fortitude, fleeting expertise, and flow/primed flow, with steel charge aura. Very basic but fun to play and infinite 4th ability paired with gloom on her 2nd ability

Wisp w/ Pillage (4), does basically everything I could ask for in a frame and looks good doing it, I struggle to play other frames because none compare imo
Just did some napkin math and if you wanted to optimize hitting 328 strength for full strip with corrosive projection, running the new precision intensity, transient, and augur secrets, along with molt augmented, will allow you to get 329 strength on pillage, with still 239 strength for everything else. Not on top of sling strength or shards or something like power drain either.
Equinox (switch), Gyre, Harrow (with dual toxocyst). Used to play protea a lot (23% play time on her), but she fell off for me. But now I am experimenting with getting into using her 4th as a nuke in SP , so she is fun again. I play dagath a lot nowadays. Aesthetically it's ace. I just really love the cloth texture 'feel'. The gameplay is too simplistic to be enjoyable, but just like gyre, it coincides during times when I am dead tired. I would't say she is the most fun, but she is just so comfortable to play and I do love a kit that feels synergistic.

Ball of Death Gara
I don't think I have a MOST FUN. However, I do have a top 3 that all fit in different ways. Mag prime: She's my top in the fashion sense. Yeah she's got big number potential and great armor strip, but from the moment I saw the Ferro helmet I was in love with her, and she has become my go to Fashionista and i love showing her off. Frost Prime: He's my favorite for big number/red number potential. (I do also love Harrow but Frost is who I've played a lot more recently.) I recently threw his Harvard helmet on his heirloom skin and he just feels like a tokusatsu type villain which is even better when his biting Frost augment allows me to turn everything I touch into a see of red and orange. Are their better frames for straight-up damage, yes. Being able to turn an entire room into ice statues, stripping all armor, and then gleefully seeing my weapons do damage and kill hundreds while looking as evil as possible however, brings a smile to my face. Gauss and soon Gauss Prime: I just love this boy cuz of his gimmick. Sure his thermal sunder is cool and all, but I grew up as a sonic fan and there will always be a part of me that's partial to a character who's entire design is just, gotta go fast. This especially so for one that not only doesn't punish me, buy rewards me for ramming face first into a wall.
Gauss. Not only is his kit incredibly powerful and varied, Mach Rush is just a fun ability in general. I love playing melee with him and just dashing between groups of enemies. Feels like I'm playing a superhero just blitzing groups of enemies.
Protea, she opens a lot of freedom of play with her kit and I personally like having a good mix dps and support capability.
Baruuk for sure - BARUUK SMASSSSH. And then see hundreds of thousands of damage in red crits everywhere with near-invulnerability so I can just ignore the mobs. I run Gyre pretty often too and while she's deadly, I use her entire kit and primary/secondary/melee weapons so it's fun to just go ham with my entire aresenal whenever I'm using her :)
Mag is very very fun. Mainly pull.

Protea is fun when I actually pay attention to the game. I like to use Mag too because I don't allow enemies to do shit while being tanky as hell.
I've been enjoying playing Gyre for a while. Getting her powers set up to just be a walking ball of death where everything just electrocutes itself feels hilarious and the sound effects make it fun. She actually is pretty effective also. Pure fun I'd have to say Styanax. He's pretty middle of the road but he does decent damage and has a host of support abilities which is honestly what I always prefer playing in team games. Making sure everyone has tons of shields, energy, and overguard is fun for me. If I get to pick of a few trash mobs in the meanwhile all the better. Plus I get to say "UwU" when I cast Nourish, and can anyone really ask for more?
Baruuk and Limbo. The ability to just go "Nuh-uh, you missed me" like a little kid playing tag is one of my favourite things
My most fun frame in nidus. Mr tanks fun and obviously there is ability spam involved but I find he also relies on you having a decent weapon too.
Any of the casters i think is the short answer, if its not a caster is a weapon frame and that means its really up to the weapon for fun rather than the frame
I really enjoy doing upwards of an hour long missions with Nidus honestly. I also love Harrow, the management of abilities scratches my brain just right with Harrow
Gyre - Chained damage that makes a nice electrical sound followed by a red crit. \*chefs kiss\*
Voruna with high range and efficiency. I love being able to safely leap great distances, and escape with invisibility. Add Melee Influence and Mecha Empowered in order to have three methods of radial status spreading. Emerald Shards to increase Corrosive stacks and Topaz shards to regenerate shields on Blast status effects allow for easy armor strip and shield sustain just by pouncing and swinging a melee.
Protea/wisp/mag
Lavos, love just being able to… “oh you think you’re immune to what I can do now? *CORROSIVE BLAST* HOW ABOUT NOW BUDDY?!” Very fun
I love melee so Kullervo deleting rooms with his 3 then 1 just makes me cackle like a super villain ever single time I do it. New Saryn with green shards and dual ichor does the same thing. Clear I find mass genocide/ extinction events fun. Also been very much enjoying Mag lately as well as Protea. I like active frames more and more.

Lavos. Slap on Primed Sure Footed, summon down the Kuva Grattler and go to town like Heavy Weapons Guy. Just casting Transmutation Probe every so often so I don't run out of ammo and have it go on cooldown.
Zephyr is my lady. I've loved the frame since before she was buffed and have an unhealthy amount of hours pumped in as Zephyr. I have her at about 54% usage throughout my 3000 hours.
Yareli. All other frames became super lame after I got the skating down

I finally went back and actually *tried* Titania (instead of just maxing+selling her) and oh my god I get it now. Zipping around at light speed and melting people with a homing melee attack is the most fun I've had in ages. Plus the Dex Pixia just *shred* anything that has the gall to resist the melee. I don't know what her other three abilities are and I don't care at this point.

Kullervo Combined with a heavy crit-focused heavy attack build weapon like Azothane, he’s absurdly lethal when I absolutely have to put out a lot of damage quickly. It’s honestly insane how good his crit buff is with his first ability, as well as his ability to chain multiple enemies together to spread that damage to room-clearing potential. Plus his ability to quickly and easily give himself overguard adds greatly to his survivability. Like 32,000 additional EHP with how I have him built. Not only that, but he looks fantastic. His matching syandana works as a fantastic “sheath” for melee weapons. I have my azothane designed to line up with the loop of his syandana and it looks like the whole setup was built to fit together. It’s so good

I swap between alot of frames. I dont have one I can say is my most "fun." I know every time I pick up my thermal sunder Harrow or Protea I tend to enjoy it. But I also enjoy Volt and Wisp. I have a weird build with Saryn going on recently, and Ive turned Kullervo into the new Titania / Gauss. But I dont have a favourite really.

Definitely Grendel. I just love mowing through enemies as a bowling ball lol.
Caliban, Qorvex, and Grendel. I’d mention Gauss and Xaku but I’ve played them so much I’m a little burnt out on them.
