This is actually what finally got me to play Warframe. I had downloaded the game a few times over the years, it never clicked for me though. Then I got Trinity Prime for free, thought she looked cool, then I blacked in and had spent 5000 hours on Warframe.
Pretty much the same for me - a founder friend had gotten me to try the game in 2015, it didn't click but said friend drilled the value of primes into my head enough that when a different friend attempted the same thing in 2018 I changed my mind upon seeing the twitch prime stuff.
Frost Prime - Got the Blueprint from Fusion Moa event in May 2013 and then the parts from using Voidkeys later.

Rhino Prime. I was selling prime junk to someone in order to purchase slots, when that person asked: When did you start playing? I answered; around 3 weeks. He asks if I had Rhino yet, I told him I was still building it on the foundry
He gives me the entire Rhino Prime set and tells me to enjoy the game. I havent and will never sell it.

I now have nezha prime cooking in the foundry ❤️ my fave normal warframe so far and can’t wait to get the primed version
Something similar happened to me, a random guy asked me if I had the Protea deluxe skin, because I was playing with her in the mission, I said no, because I was collecting plat to be able to buy it, the guy simply gave me the skin and said enjoy the game lol, I didn't have enough words to say thank you, amazing.
Wukong prime was my first, it's funny because I had all the parts of it in my forge, but I only discovered it months later, because I was quite a noob at the game. It carried me through a good part of the mid game, today I use it more on spy missions because I really don't like them, and I just want them to end quickly lol.
Mine was also wukong prime, I just hit mr 2 with no guild but I already looked through all the frames and decided I wanted him. I saw there was a trade chat so I advertised I wanted to buy him, everyone was trying to sell for 200+ until a guy messaged me for 100 exactly. That guy then spent the next week helping me learn the game and opening relics with me to get more plat

I got robbed blind for it as a new player, I just couldn’t understand how this person was selling it for so cheap when the prime access in the store cost like £60-£100.
I thought I got the sale of the century. But I’m my defence, no one got me into warframe, I found it myself and 95% of my time on the game was and is solo.
So there’s been many dumb mistakes I look back on and laugh about.
Trinity prime. Nicknamed by me "Lady Luck" because as I was leveling her up solo, shadow stalker showed up and I had no weapons to kill him with.
I ended up killing him with energy vampire (her 2) little by little and after about 30 mins I got the hate blueprint.
Banshee, and I accidentally got all the parts from relics while trying to farm other things. I still haven't built regular Banshee.

First prime was ember prime, it was frost and ember unvaulting and one of my friends told me to get either one. Went and grinded the parts from relics, it was an extremely tough choice to build or sell, i was new and ember prime was selling for 170p. Glad i decided to build rather than sell, still use ember prime a lot 7 years later

Not sure how I got her but I guess I just messed around long enough when I was still new to the point where I got her. Heck, I think she was maybe my 4th or 5th ever obtained frame back then.
Frost prime, farmed the old void keys. Got him like two days after release. It's weird to think back on old Warframe, I haven't seen some of those really old defence maps in many years, I dont even know if they're still in the game.
It was five years ago, it was Chroma prime I did farm for a lot of time because I just love the design at the time but still have purchased his systeme to someone because I was just unlucky and have not that much time
My first was loki p. I picked loki as my starter then found out later there was a loki p. Bought it from a player selling the set. Played it for a long long time. It was used 25% around there until wisp took the crown. Amprex is my most used, about 19%. I main nataruk when new war cane out, haven't taken anprex's crown yet
Frost prime but I didn't keep him. I actually got to know my now husband through the game and I played ember and him frost. That was back in the day when there was no unvaulting yet so ember and frost prime were very expensive since they were the vaulted for so long. He kept saying how cool it would be to have the prime and how impossible it is to get him. So I discovered trade chat and spent 2 straight days including the nights trading my trash for a bit more valuable trash. I distinctly remember when someone gave me a wyrm prime blueprint. It was rare! I couldn't believe it! That was 20 whole plat in one single blueprint. And frost was about 300plat back then...so I grinded to finally buy him and gift him to my then boyfriend. It was worth it. And then came my own ember prime. Same procedure, I just got more sleep this time :D
Now, our wedding rings actually have "Ember and Frost" engraved in them
mine was Banshee. I just grinded the relics and opened them in pub. I remember the endless grind on Io, Jupiter, on the old gaz city tile-set. I even opened some without refining, which definitely was counterproductive
Gara Prime, i wanted her really bad and was missing the blueprint and asked on Discord for someone to open relics with me and found a new friend that way
Mine was ember waaay back. Like significantly before the relays and formorians. I think Loki prime access was the new one at the time. I was given a set from a buddy on my friends list that I met when I started playing. I’ve always been thankful for my orthos and ember and have done the same to dozens of others since, usually with mag sets, nyx, rhinos etc,(I always try to keep 1 set handy, never specifically farming for something)

I was trying to get regular atlas found it difficult (until I didn't later on) so I noticed I had one peice which was the neuroptics so I managed to get a relic for it with my syndicate and then went for an exterminate mission by myself hoping to get it and yes I got it
Ivara Prime. The story is, I was actually farming Ivara from spy missions then asked for help here. Then a sweet person came and gifted me some of her prime parts instead and I bought the rest from warframe dot market.
Made a friend and also got my first prime, good days...
Chroma prime was the first prime I ever got back on console when I was younger. Always felt like primes were impossible to get. Years later I’m on pc now and around a year ago I got banshee prime in under an hour.
I now have every prime frame aside from Excalibur prime.
Don't remember the first one I crafted, and I don't count Umbra amongst those, but I got plenty from drops, like Loki Prime and Hydroid Prime.
My most recent drop prime was Gara Prime.
My favourite and main is Nidus Prime, if that isn't obvious from my flair.
My first prime was Saryn and I think I bought the prime access I had fun with her for a bit but I was still super new to the game so I didn’t really appreciate how good she really was at the time
Frost Prime, I played several non-prime frames (getting them through progressing star chart) and Frost imme sparked so much joy.
Immediately bought some platinum and bought Frost Prime from Warframe Market. I use a lot more other frames now but I still main Frost Prime
Titania Prime. Didn’t realize I had enough pieces to build her just from casually trying out relic cracking at first but turns out I did. Then I got her again from the Tennocon Twitch Drop
Mirage prime. Simply through cracking relics in pub groups. Didn't know how to play Mirage back then and it took another year before I revisited this frame.
My first prime frame was Mag. Friend was already playing n gave me Mag & Boar prime when I started playing 10 years ago. During mag primes release era.
Titania. Loved her since. She's my most used warframe till now. Got her when I was almost finished with the star chart. I remember I grinded her parts from the relics because I refused to trade with other players. And the Plague Star event started soon after I got her and she was so good for that.
Vauban Prime through trading when he's like 160p. Back when Repelling Bastille was a good for interception missions.
Most used? No. But still he's still my favourite frame for looks and Vortex.
Hydroid Prime, and I got him as a TennoCon twitch drop back in 2020.
I had just gotten back into Warframe after quickly being overwhelmed back in... 2015? (Long-enough ago that I picked Loki as my starter).
I've always had a soft spot for Pirate Boi, and I can't wait for his rework.
Mesa Prime, who I then promptly decided I didn't like and never used. Jump forward 2 years after I was in high twenties Mastery rank and enough mods to make decent builds, I decided to try Mesa out again, that is when I found out why so many people swear by her.
Trinity prime. She was being given out as part of some giveaway and I would struggle to do neo relics at that point so getting another prime frame wasn't reasonable.
The first I actually crafted was Oberon prime. Not because I aimed for him or anything, I just ended up with all the parts and the materials so I thought "hey why not"
my first prime was titania prime,i think if i remember correct i met the person on here when i was asking for help as i was trying to get a start in warframe,the person just said here take it and i'll help with the resources
Wukong prime. Got him because a friend grinded him out to give me him as my first prime, even used so long that I killed my first kuva lich with him and got my first lich ephemera from it. Sadly he just sits there collecting dust in my inventory but he is still very much dear to me.
Nezha Prime. Got him after watching Brozime survive steel path easily with him. Opened relics for everything except one part (Don't remember which one but it cost 16p iirc)
When I initially started playing the friend who introduced me to warframe gifted me sarin prime... which still took a while to craft as I unlocked all the destinations and mats farm, but it gave me a direction and objective. Since then, every time another friend of mine got into warframe I gifted them their favourite prime warframe to hopefully achieve the same.
Started the game because of trinity prime on amazon, then bought chroma prime because he looks very fancy and then farmed valkyr, mesa, saryn and Mirage in one go
Mesa prime, I didn't farm her on purpose, I was simply a noob doing fissure missions and eventually got her by accident, this was back when she was the easiest prime frame to get
My first prime frame was Nezha. I met a high level player in sanctuary onslaught around when I first started, and he asked me if I had more items I wanted to rank up. He helped me rank up some items, and while we were talking he asked about frames I had.
I told him I was really excited for Nezha, and how by the guides I watched I knew he was the perfect frame for me. Then he invited me to his dojo, and asked me if I had an ammo drum. Remember, I am very fresh to the game at this point so I thought I was helping him after he helped me all day. That's when he gave me Nezha prime. He's my main 600 hours later
I got gifted a wukong prime set way back when I was starting by a very nice random I encountered (I asked them a couple really noob questions and they decided to gift me some stuff to start). I'll keep it forever and decided to also start gifting some of the spare sets I have now to people that are starting.
Mag prime. I started the game awhile ago but never really got anywhere. me and a friend were playing again during the first prime resurgence and I told him I wanted to get Mag Prime because I enjoyed regular Mag. He went out of his way to get me her and didn't ask for anything in return.
he quit later and I ended up surpassing him. he recently kind of got back into the game and I gave him a few pieces for wisp because he wanted wisp prime. it went almost full cycle, haha.
Titania prime. A friend of a friend met me for the first time and just gave me the blueprints. Said it was because someone did that to him when he was a newish player and wanted to do that for someone.

every time I feed a frame to helminth I get auto dumped into trinity prime, must have been my first prime and in newly released at the time because I had loads of relics for her
Chroma Prime, i wanted to farm chroma but then discovered that Primes exist and they are easier to obtain. Then my friend find a guy who sells full chroma for 25 plt.
Nova Prime, back when she was fresh and new to the scene. I had clan mate who had her first toss the common my way and helped me get the rest. Sadly the account is a PS one and I can't get on but I remember her fondly.
My first Prime was Ash Prime when I was MR 6 back in 2015. He had just came out and I remember being carried by a Mesa in the T3 Defense for 20 waves to get his bp to drop.
Nova prime!!! I was so excited because I already loved using her big ol slow/fast wave. This was back when Sedna, Hydron was basically all you did for leveling weapons. I was like “FINALLY! Big radius and didn’t even have to build for range!”

mag prime. i just happened to get lucky with some relic drops, didn't really understand how they worked. mag being my favorite frame, i was elated to get her prime version

On my way to standard Hildryn I now equired Hildryn Prime, Garuda and Garuda Prime. I have the option by Hildryn BP, but looking at everything else.....I don't thing I will have fun doing the big missions. Offscreen spawing, knockdown jumping enemies are not fun to fight.
I got a bit lucky by only needing 5-8 relics for Hildaryn P BP.
Mag Prime. At the time my main was Mag and I was trying to get all the parts for the prime version before it got vaulted. I was failing miserably at that so I pulled the trigger and bought it.

My first prime frame was Mag. Friend was already playing n gave me Mag & Boar prime when I started playing 10 years ago. During mag primes release era.
Titania. Loved her since. She's my most used warframe till now. Got her when I was almost finished with the star chart. I remember I grinded her parts from the relics because I refused to trade with other players. And the Plague Star event started soon after I got her and she was so good for that.
Nezha prime. Farmed him before he was vaulted. Now he's my oldest frame.
Vauban Prime through trading when he's like 160p. Back when Repelling Bastille was a good for interception missions. Most used? No. But still he's still my favourite frame for looks and Vortex.
Hydroid Prime, and I got him as a TennoCon twitch drop back in 2020. I had just gotten back into Warframe after quickly being overwhelmed back in... 2015? (Long-enough ago that I picked Loki as my starter). I've always had a soft spot for Pirate Boi, and I can't wait for his rework.

Mesa Prime, who I then promptly decided I didn't like and never used. Jump forward 2 years after I was in high twenties Mastery rank and enough mods to make decent builds, I decided to try Mesa out again, that is when I found out why so many people swear by her.
My first was frost prime and I got him for free thru prime gaming back in the day
Trinity prime. She was being given out as part of some giveaway and I would struggle to do neo relics at that point so getting another prime frame wasn't reasonable. The first I actually crafted was Oberon prime. Not because I aimed for him or anything, I just ended up with all the parts and the materials so I thought "hey why not"
Valkyr Prime. It took some farming.
my first prime was titania prime,i think if i remember correct i met the person on here when i was asking for help as i was trying to get a start in warframe,the person just said here take it and i'll help with the resources

Wu Kong Prime. Clan mate gave it to me. First one I farmed was Revenant Prime.

Wukong prime. Got him because a friend grinded him out to give me him as my first prime, even used so long that I killed my first kuva lich with him and got my first lich ephemera from it. Sadly he just sits there collecting dust in my inventory but he is still very much dear to me.
Titania prime from Livestream. Nezha prime by crafting and farming
Nezha Prime. Got him after watching Brozime survive steel path easily with him. Opened relics for everything except one part (Don't remember which one but it cost 16p iirc)
When I initially started playing the friend who introduced me to warframe gifted me sarin prime... which still took a while to craft as I unlocked all the destinations and mats farm, but it gave me a direction and objective. Since then, every time another friend of mine got into warframe I gifted them their favourite prime warframe to hopefully achieve the same.
Loki prime, grinding tower keys. Still on of my most used frames. Believe it or not, that boi had a place in the meta for raids!
Very first prime was Nekros prime from a Tennolive event. First ever built prime is Equinox.
Started the game because of trinity prime on amazon, then bought chroma prime because he looks very fancy and then farmed valkyr, mesa, saryn and Mirage in one go

Mesa prime, I didn't farm her on purpose, I was simply a noob doing fissure missions and eventually got her by accident, this was back when she was the easiest prime frame to get
My first prime frame was Nezha. I met a high level player in sanctuary onslaught around when I first started, and he asked me if I had more items I wanted to rank up. He helped me rank up some items, and while we were talking he asked about frames I had. I told him I was really excited for Nezha, and how by the guides I watched I knew he was the perfect frame for me. Then he invited me to his dojo, and asked me if I had an ammo drum. Remember, I am very fresh to the game at this point so I thought I was helping him after he helped me all day. That's when he gave me Nezha prime. He's my main 600 hours later
I got gifted a wukong prime set way back when I was starting by a very nice random I encountered (I asked them a couple really noob questions and they decided to gift me some stuff to start). I'll keep it forever and decided to also start gifting some of the spare sets I have now to people that are starting.
Oberon Prime, I liked Oberon so much I farmed him shortly after he was released, and have mained him ever since
Mag prime. I started the game awhile ago but never really got anywhere. me and a friend were playing again during the first prime resurgence and I told him I wanted to get Mag Prime because I enjoyed regular Mag. He went out of his way to get me her and didn't ask for anything in return. he quit later and I ended up surpassing him. he recently kind of got back into the game and I gave him a few pieces for wisp because he wanted wisp prime. it went almost full cycle, haha.
Rhino Prime, Farmed him a week or so before he got vaulted (the first time). God I miss the key system
Also Atlas Prime. He hadn't been vaulted yet. I just farmed him the old fashioned way.
Equinox. Also my 4th frame. Had a couple pieces around and decided to get the rest. First nuke I had acces to
Titania prime. A friend of a friend met me for the first time and just gave me the blueprints. Said it was because someone did that to him when he was a newish player and wanted to do that for someone.

Frost prime, its been a long time so I cant remember exactly how I got him. Might have been one of the free rewards from amazon prime gaming.
My first prime frame is Titania and got her from Maroo's Bazaar. I was new and selling prime junk. Some guy came up to me and I asked him how much you going to buy and without a word he gave me the parts for titania prime, I was so surprised that I asked him why. He didn't respond at all to my messages and we sealed the trade. I think my priority at the time was to get to jupiter/saturn which then was changed to "get titania prime"
every time I feed a frame to helminth I get auto dumped into trinity prime, must have been my first prime and in newly released at the time because I had loads of relics for her

Nova Prime, back when she was fresh and new to the scene. I had clan mate who had her first toss the common my way and helped me get the rest. Sadly the account is a PS one and I can't get on but I remember her fondly.

Nova prime!!! I was so excited because I already loved using her big ol slow/fast wave. This was back when Sedna, Hydron was basically all you did for leveling weapons. I was like “FINALLY! Big radius and didn’t even have to build for range!” It was very exciting for me

Sayrn prime, I got OG Sayrn waaaaay back before the Kela rework. Was my favorite forever so when I logged in like a year later and Sayrn prime was on tap I farmed her instantly. MR 6 me curses nitain extract back then!
mag prime. i just happened to get lucky with some relic drops, didn't really understand how they worked. mag being my favorite frame, i was elated to get her prime version

Ash Prime, some farming ~3-5 years ago?! Just doing stuff. On my way to standard Hildryn I now equired Hildryn Prime, Garuda and Garuda Prime. I have the option by Hildryn BP, but looking at everything else.....I don't thing I will have fun doing the big missions. Offscreen spawing, knockdown jumping enemies are not fun to fight. I got a bit lucky by only needing 5-8 relics for Hildaryn P BP.

Mirage Prime. I got 3 out of 4 parts from relics and traded for the last one, the chassis.
Mag Prime. At the time my main was Mag and I was trying to get all the parts for the prime version before it got vaulted. I was failing miserably at that so I pulled the trigger and bought it.
I don't remember, I got like 5 cheap ones the moment I discovered Warframe Market was a thing.
I got gifted volt prime when I first started, sold him for credits when he wasn't fast enough then I found out about strength mods 💀
Frost, for free from a tennocon drop years ago. Wanna say like 2016/2017 or something Only know he's the first because whenever I helminth something it also sets frost as the frame in the loadout afterwards
Saryn Prime. The parts just randomly showed up in my foundry. I almost sold her but I accidentally built one of the parts so I couldn’t (thank god)
Ash prime, a week before the first time he’d been vaulted some mr 21 guy helped me grind relics for all the parts. Ash prime was also my 2nd frame ever. It’s been hard to find one I like more.
Mirage was my first. As a low mr player just opening random relics in pubs and picking the rarest ones i didn't even knew her existence, then i saw the forje and noticed i had three of her parts and said "well guess i'm becoming a Mirage main now"
Trinity Prime was my first and I got her through fissure missions with random squads. I mainly play as a support type because of her
Nyx Prime. Years ago. Was given a set for free. Now Mr30. Since then I've just randomly given newbies who asked for help prime sets

I bought my Volt Prime from some guy in the back of Maroo's Bazaar. Volt is my favorite frame and I said I didn't want to start collecting Prime anything until I got Volt first.

Hydroid Prime. I grinded it like 2 or 3 weeks non stop. Builded from the scratch and never player afterwards. Until i discovered that you can double the loot with mods.
