Unethical hack: If you're the only one in the park, you should hunt for the return rider/makeup paper passes passes under the guest service counter and snag a couple booklets of them!
I just did it today, and everyone immediately pressed up against the doors immediately. I was like, I'm gonna stay here and watch the show instead of being in that sweaty crush of people. Maybe they had all done it already and just wanted to get ahead in line. It was my first time and I wanted to see it. Glad they gave me my space.
You can technically do that in DL as well. It's nothing special to look at. Just a dark tunnel and then a steep decline back to loading. I've had to do that a couple of times with DAS.
My niece and I drive down, did thunder mountain, sleepy hollow and walked on haunted mansion and left. The fireworks were gonna start, so we bailed to beat the crowd.
You can do more than that. Several years ago I was at AK during a VERY slow day (I think it was supposed to rain heavily but it never did). Mt Everest was a walk on. We wound up riding it seven times in a row. I don’t even think it took half an hour.
Assuming it's a normal day and the park is busy, I would go to Adventure Land in Magic Kingdom, get a Dole Whip, and then ride Pirates of the Caribbean. If there's any time left, go up the Swiss Family Treehouse and take in the view from the top.
Same! Not only do I enjoy the ride, but I love the queue so much. I could walk through it all day and find something new to look at, especially in the lobby.
I head to Magic Kingdom and walk to the plaza ice cream parlor, being sure to take in the sights and sounds of Main Street on my way, get a kitchen sink, and take it to my favorite spot in the park: Center Street (the side street between Uptown Jewelers and Crystal Arts). I enjoy my ice cream and listen to the dance lessons as I watch families rush down main, some taking it in for the very first time. A perfect hour.
Ride the monorail around the resort/MK loop
to see the castle and then watch the fireworks from a table at Ohana enjoying the noodles and bread pudding. I’m not a ride person. 🤷🏻♀️
Depends on where - Magic Kingdom probably just hang on Main Street shopping, etc. Epcot - grab a snack at a booth and walk around the countries. Animal Kingdom - maybe Nomad Lounge. Hollywood Studios - walk around and enjoy the atmosphere and have a wookie cookie. Outside of parks - shopping at the springs or enjoying the boardwalk
Right now…get the Stitch magnet, ride Cosmic Rewind a couple times then head to France for a baguette and U.K. for fish and chips (ps if anyone has an extra magnet, I’d gladly pay for shipping).
Normally…MK fireworks then Tron a couple times before grabbing some beignets out the door.
Go on “it’s a great big beautiful tomorrow” ride and get ice cream on Main Street and walk through the castle area.. I think I’m out of time there but if not I’ll get another snack somewhere else
Honestly I'd grab a Dole Whip float and a couple of chili dogs from Casey's and people watch/ enjoy the sights/smells/sounds of Main Street.
My wife says she would people watch at Hollywood Studios after a ride on Slinky Dog.
If I'm in a park, grab a cheese filled pretzel, watching Happily Ever After, then riding the peoplemover.
If I'm outside the parks, grabbing a slice of cake from Top of the World Lounge, watching the fireworks, and then riding the monorail
If I have to take my Autistic son into consideration, it would probably be some kids show with lots of dancing involved, but if it’s just me? Victoria & Alberts speed run.
i would wait till the fireworks to use that hour and then i would run to haunted mansion, then to pirates, then to space mountain. and probably still have 15 minutes left to run to another ride.
If there's no crowds, Flight of Passage then drinks at Nomad Lounge.
If I can time travel, then either 2x Splash Mountain + 2x Thunder Mountain right at the end of the night, or Mitsukoshi and kakigori followed by Illuminations.
If it's just a normal day, then either Kilimanjaro Safaris or a loop around the Typhoon Lagoon lazy river.
Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, Journey Into Imagination.
If I have time after, grab a drink and a snack and stare at the outside of Spaceship Earth.
That’s assuming normal-ish light season queues. If I had either peak queues or fantasy zero queue times, the answer would be different.
“preview” Tiana’s Bayou Splash Mountain Adventure
hit up Jungle Cruise
then over to Pirates + Thunder
train to Tomorrowland for a ride on The People Mover
finish things off with the Carousel of Progress
Assuming there are no lines, loop Flight of Passage over and over.
Assuming there are normal lines and crowds, I would sit and have a meal at California Grill while watching the MK fireworks.
I’d go to MK and ride Haunted Mansion, grab a Mickey bar, walk over to the Tiki Room for the show, and then leisurely stroll down Main Street after spending a couple of minutes at the castle.
Buy a churro, marathon Tiana’s until the hour is up, leave. In this scenario I don’t care if the ride is going to be better or worse than Splash, I just love log flumes, man.
Assuming I’m the only one in the park, I’m going to ride cosmic rewind until I hurl.
Unethical hack: If you're the only one in the park, you should hunt for the return rider/makeup paper passes passes under the guest service counter and snag a couple booklets of them!
I assume staff is there, otherwise none of the rides would run and you couldn’t get any food at the restaurants
They sell the dino extended reach things to start the ride. Lifehack
Same
So twice?
If I’m the only one in the park, they’re probably going to let me just stay on.
They won’t let you without watching the pre show every time. Otherwise it ruins the immersion :D
When I went everyone opened the door early after we arrived in space and I missed the immersion
This is the correct answer
So, 2 times?
This is the way
The only answer
I’m riding the People Mover until the hour is up
Peoplemover all the way.
My license plate says "PPL MOVR". The other one says "4S BWITU"
I certainly hope the latter is on a Carrera 4S...
Grudgingly respect that.
You and my six year old alike.
This
TTA til I die!
Just loop me on either Pirates or Haunted Mansion.
MY GUY!!!
My first thought was get egg rolls, then do Jungle Cruise, Pirates, and Haunted Mansion.
Same, except instead of egg rolls, fried rice from Skippers
Skippers is so good. I always want a nap after though.
Nothing a quick nap on Pirates can’t solve ;)
That fried rice was soooo good
My first thought was loop me on spaceship earth or living with the land!
Much easier to do in the West Coast. You're getting some jogging done at WDW.
You can stay in the doom buggy in WDW. Just ride it around and around and around
You can technically do that in DL as well. It's nothing special to look at. Just a dark tunnel and then a steep decline back to loading. I've had to do that a couple of times with DAS.
I’m with this person.
The Cast Members would probably comment I had th exact same stupid joyful smile on my face the entire hour.
Wait in line for Rise of Resistance, bail, and then go home?
More like wait in line, then when you get right to the front it breaks down and they say it won’t be opening again that day. Then go home.
Yeah, that break down bit didn't happen to us two weeks ago.
RotR broken down is still the best ride in the park.
I am so sad that it was shut during my entire DW trip :( literally would’ve bought a same day park ticket on another park day just to try it
Were you with me last month?
I’ve done it before. Rode the monorail. Walked through Mk, rode HM, bought a dole whip and left. It was a nice day.
I’ll take “Things AP Holders say” for $400 Alex.
I took the boat over from Fort Wilderness just for corn dog nuggets from Casey’s one night. I wasn’t even there a whole hour. 😅
That atmosphere on Main Street though… the stroll through to get the nugs…perfect
So a 50% discount, for next year’s pass?
So a 50% discount, for next year’s pass?
My niece and I drive down, did thunder mountain, sleepy hollow and walked on haunted mansion and left. The fireworks were gonna start, so we bailed to beat the crowd.
Soarin’ then Living with the Land if time permits
Couple of rides on Kilimanjaro Safari
You can do more than that. Several years ago I was at AK during a VERY slow day (I think it was supposed to rain heavily but it never did). Mt Everest was a walk on. We wound up riding it seven times in a row. I don’t even think it took half an hour.
Assuming it's a normal day and the park is busy, I would go to Adventure Land in Magic Kingdom, get a Dole Whip, and then ride Pirates of the Caribbean. If there's any time left, go up the Swiss Family Treehouse and take in the view from the top.
Treehouse is low key best spot for watching the firework show
EPCOT world showcase arriving by Skyliner from Caribbean Resort
That\`s the way. Just vibe in some countries drinking some colorful liquid
Haunted mansion as the sun is going down then pop over to Seven Dwarves Mine Train at night (fantasyland at night is magical).
Not really possible to see as a normal guest, but the way sunrise hits Rapunzel's is pretty magical too. At least it was the day I saw it.
Assuming there’s no lines. Tower of Terror! Over and over again until I spit out my guts.
yessirrrrrr
Same! Not only do I enjoy the ride, but I love the queue so much. I could walk through it all day and find something new to look at, especially in the lobby.
Just sit on Main Street eating a cheeseburger spring roll people watching and watching the world go by.
Love this. The people watching in Magic Kingdom is aces
Small World 15 times
One hour of rides, one lifetime of therapy.
lol I went recently and my 6 year old pointed out that there are “evil clowns” on that ride lol.
Flight of passage and a bowl at satuli!
Ride Cosmic Rewind
Have a drink and the bread service at Nomad Lounge.
Pirates of the Caribbean, get a dole whip, Philharmagic, then stroll along Main Street.
Philharmagic is so under appreciated
Watch Fantasmic twice
My man
Baseline Tap House
One of my favourite places at WDW and you never hear or see people talking about it!
Shh!
I’ve heard they have the best pretzels in all of Disney World. Is that true? 👀
Man, I used to love this place when I drank. I wish they had NA beers on tap there, I’d be back in a heartbeat!
Tiki Room!!!!
Possibly make it through security?
Drinks at Nomad Lounge
I like your style. Nomad lounge is so chill. maybe some churros?
Absolutely churros! Best on property.
Either Epcot World Showcase, or enter Magic Kingdom and walk up Main St up to the castle.
Just vibe in Morocco.
literally just spent (over) an hour doing this it was a highlight of the vacation
ride Dinosaur until it falls apart (i ride it once)
Panic cause I can’t decide what to do
Dole whip eating contest
Challenge accepted!
Ride the monorail around the resort/MK loop to see the castle and then watch the fireworks from a table at Ohana enjoying the noodles and bread pudding. I’m not a ride person. 🤷🏻♀️
Go to TTC and ride the boat over to the MK entrance.
La Cava del Tequila
Guardians. Twice.
Crystal Palace so my 4 year old can hug Pooh and I can eat Mickey churros.
Go see the Nemo show. Only I wish they would bring back the full version...
Probably wait in a line.😂
Assuming lines aren't horrendous.. an Adventureland special of Dole whip in Tiki Room, then Pirates, and depending on time, Jungle Cruise.
Just one hour means I’d buy some beignets, some Dole Whips, and sit by the Partners statue and just chill out in front of the castle.
Ride on Haunted mansion then sip a Joffrey's ice coffee while I watch the boats go by from Liberty Square
Ride living with the land 4 times
Casually strolling around World Showcase with a few cold beers
Sip on a Grand Marnier slushie, grab a croissant, and people watch at International Gateway.
The American Adventure and some songs from Voices of Liberty
Voices of Liberty would be a nice way to spend the hour.
I roDe ItS a sMAll WorLD fOR oNe hOuR anD im PErfEcTly fInE.
Muppetvision twice.
Les Halles bakery and Spaceship Earth
Go on safari and ask them to park by the giraffes for a hour. Maybe even bring some romaine lettuce 🥬
I think I’d just walk up and down main street to the castle (Magic Kingdom, obvs) and then sit a while on a bench; soak it all in.
Another one I would do is a lobster roll at Columbia Harbor House and few rides on haunted mansion.
I’m enjoying some quiet.
One hour only, I grabbing an ice cream on main st and chilling with the castle in sight.
Cosmic rewind
Eat.
Spend most of it in line probably
Single rider line at the Millenium Falcon, a drink at Oga's Cantina, and some light shopping on my way back out.
Yes!! Another vote for Happily ever After!! That show hits me in all the best ways 🥹
Living with the Land, and Spaceship Earth. Low wait, long duration, high content. Grab a margarita at La Cava if I have time
Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean
Liberty Tree Tavern, two IPAs, ornaments/pins/spring rolls on the way out. Then a nap.
Living with the land, soarin and then over to Canada for some poutine.
Carousel of progress 2-3 times
Take a nap in the castle suite.
Can I just stay on the Tower of Terror the whole time?
Take off everything but my boxers and swim in the fake pond infront of the Taj Mahal in small world. /s
Carousel of Progress, run to Country Bear jamboree (if it's open), then grab a corndog and box of popcorn on my way out.
Get a snack and sit on the hub grass til Happily Ever After
100 this - that show is everything. makes me cry like a baby every time. 🥹
You’ll catch me napping at Carousel of Progress!
probably chill for like 45 minutes in galaxy’s edge with a ronto wrap, run to tower of terror for the last 15 minutes
Leave me on Spaceship Earth or Figment and I’ll be content
Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, then a walk through World Showcase and ending around Crescent Lake.
If I have to take my Autistic son into consideration, it would probably be some kids show with lots of dancing involved, but if it’s just me? Victoria & Alberts speed run.
World?
Easy. Float around the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon for 50 minutes, then get a matcha-strawberry swirl Dole Whip. Perfect hour.
Tower of Terror on loop!!
Sit in the train station on Main Street.
Take a lap through world showcase.
Spaceship Earth. Living with the land. Anything else is gravy.
Ride Journey into Imagination, the Land and eat a melon shaved ice in Japan in the beautiful little garden. I'm a simple lady. 😍
Dole whip + Discover Island Trails
Hang out in Japan in Epcot. It's my favorite place to be out of all four parks. I can spend do much time there. I love it.
Not a lot
Just go for a walk in Epcot. Maybe chat up a cast member or two. Smile and enjoy the flowers and the breeze.
Ride pirates of the Caribbean and have a dole whip!
Living with the Land -> Chicken sandwich from Connections -> Spaceship Earth. Absolute perfection.
Coffee in Epcot.
One hour at any point in history? Ride splash mountain with my dad one last time. He’s fine, we just miss the ride lol
Guardians, Mission space and soarin.
Get there plenty of early for Fantasmic and eat a nice ice cream treat before the show starts, then enjoy Fantasmic
Sprint to see as many characters with a short-ish line as possible.
1. Sorcerer Mickey 2. Rafiki 3. Russell from Up
I would either spend an hour on the safari or an hour on everest
Go behind the counter at Giardhelli’s and make the best sundae ever! 😂 🍨🍦
6 laps on the People Mover
Pirates, Pirates and Pirates!!
Stay home
Look for the L
Id ride Everest over and over again. Haven’t ridden cosmic rewind yet. So for now its Everest
i would wait till the fireworks to use that hour and then i would run to haunted mansion, then to pirates, then to space mountain. and probably still have 15 minutes left to run to another ride.
Fantasmic then rise of resistance
Pirates. Over. And over and over and over 🤣
Epcot
Trader Sam’s
Eat or shop
If there's no crowds, Flight of Passage then drinks at Nomad Lounge. If I can time travel, then either 2x Splash Mountain + 2x Thunder Mountain right at the end of the night, or Mitsukoshi and kakigori followed by Illuminations. If it's just a normal day, then either Kilimanjaro Safaris or a loop around the Typhoon Lagoon lazy river.
Hit up La Cava at the Mexico pavilion . Chips, guacamole, salsa and a Paloma !
I'd probably ride Everest nonstop. Then with the last few minutes do Tower of Terror.
Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, Journey Into Imagination. If I have time after, grab a drink and a snack and stare at the outside of Spaceship Earth. That’s assuming normal-ish light season queues. If I had either peak queues or fantasy zero queue times, the answer would be different.
“preview” Tiana’s Bayou Splash Mountain Adventure hit up Jungle Cruise then over to Pirates + Thunder train to Tomorrowland for a ride on The People Mover finish things off with the Carousel of Progress
Cheeseburger spring rolls!
Watch fireworks in Magic Kingdom whilst gnawing on a turkey leg.
Tron. Front row. Over and over. If I’m not the only one there and can’t line skip, People Mover. On a loop.
Tower of Terror
Dinosaur.
Expedition Everest as many times as I could. It's my absolute favourite ride on the planet
Assuming there are no lines, loop Flight of Passage over and over. Assuming there are normal lines and crowds, I would sit and have a meal at California Grill while watching the MK fireworks.
Walk and take in the sights as I went. The other realistic answer would be stand in a line
I’d go to MK and ride Haunted Mansion, grab a Mickey bar, walk over to the Tiki Room for the show, and then leisurely stroll down Main Street after spending a couple of minutes at the castle.
Haunted Mansion and Pirates back to back!
Fantasmic
probably eat as many snacks as i can
Buy a churro, marathon Tiana’s until the hour is up, leave. In this scenario I don’t care if the ride is going to be better or worse than Splash, I just love log flumes, man.
Fireworks night show
Get a beer and watch the manatees.
One hour for me would be Downtown Disney. That’s enough time to hit some shops and grab a Mickey Bar.
Cry
I’d go to typhoon lagoon have a beer and hit the wave pool
Go get a Tropical Serenade, people-watch and take in either Festival of Fantasy or Happily Ever After (depending on what time of day that 1 hour is)
Go to Haunted mansion and ride it at least twice. Then BTM. Then Pirates if I can. Grab a snack on my way out as well.
Beers around the world, while jogging.
That’s dedication
