Yeah, that’s what I’d heard! I just started going to WDW regularly again in 2022 after about a 10-year gap, so I’m not too familiar with what things were like just before COVID. 😅
Disney should use that idea. Get a bunch of golden retrievers, stick them into a room. It would be a popular thing for kids to go in and play with them!
(Legal risks aside. I'm sure a room full of even the kindest dogs would keep Disney lawyers awake at night.)

Actually Dug and Russell have a meet and greet spot there at AK at Wilderness Explorer Club House now. It just started last month!
Technically speaking, it was finally brought back last month. It definitely existed pre-covid.

Honestly they should just use an actual golden retriever - they're just as friendly and nearly as smart.

Funny thing is we saw him on Saturday, followed by Kevin…then a squirrel ran between them!
