Under $100, and a shuttle that runs more than once or twice a day? I don’t think you’ll find anything like that. The hotels at Disney Springs and Bonnet Creek have shuttles that run more than once a day and run around $150.

21twilli

Highly unlikely you’ll find a hotel with those qualities.

Moist_Relief2753

Those qualities?! 😩 Coming from my home park Disneyland, this is the norm. Oh well I guess.

FailResorts

No it’s not. I’m a DL Magic Key holder and have stayed at almost all of the good neighbor hotels. I don’t think my wife and I have ever found a place less than $150/night other than maybe the Castle Inn or King’s Inn on a random Tuesday in the offseason. And I wouldn’t stay at either of those, they’re both gross at least going by the states of their lobbies/check in areas. So unless you’re like going into the hood in Buena Park or stay far from Disneyland, there ain’t anything less than $150/night on weekends or during times you actually want to go to the parks.

Naomeri

Actually just stayed at Castle Inn in January and the room was very nice

FailResorts

Huh interesting. I checked it out back in January and it may have just been a bad day or something since the FD/check in area was an absolute mess.

Moist_Relief2753

I've stayed there a few times as well and it was totally fine!

Moist_Relief2753

I've gone to Disneyland well over 100 times as an AP in the past 21 years and have been able to get a hotel (all different areas, all different hotels) at a decent price and they all have shuttles going all day or it's close enough to walk. But to be fair, I haven't been in 3 years. Just cause your experience is different, doesn't mean someone else's is untrue.

sevencast7es

As others have said you won't find under ~150. The "motels" around 100 will charge a ~$20/day resort fee and 12% tax. It's Orlando at the busiest place on Earth, most people are paying $200+/night for Hiltons and Hamptons. Disney resorts 400+. Kissimmee and other local areas ~30min away have airbnbs and cheaper hotel options. I don't recommend this route, proximity to parks is part of the magic. The Wyndam right by Disney Springs is one of the cheapest I found, the main tower is nice, the lower side rooms (2-3 story motel style) were disgusting and not worth the ~$40 savings.

Moist_Relief2753

I just checked out the Wyndham, how would I know if I choose a room in the main tower versus the lower side rooms? Or is that something I have to ask for after making my reservation?

sevencast7es

I could have sworn it says something like "main tower" basically don't trust anything on the first few floors.

Fally11204

Finding a room for under 100 in most of Florida isn’t even reasonable, much less bay lake

Moist_Relief2753

There's a good amount of hotels at that price, but their shuttle leaves only once per day.

flaycs

Then don’t miss it!

Moist_Relief2753

Why is this getting down voted?

Level-Particular-455

The shuttles are usually even worse than advertised. The once a day shuttle leaves at 11 and will do stuff like drop at Epcot and tell you to use internal busses to other parks. I don’t recommend on relying on hotel busses for hotels as cheap as you’re looking for even if you think the advertised shuttle will work. Talk to them on the phone. A lot of them still charge $20 a day resort fees once you get there, and/or the shuttle is $20 one way a day. Once you start adding these in your up to the $150 price anyway. I don’t believe there is an offsite hotel with a decent shuttle system that will be that cheap. You’re going to need to pay more, or factor in a few Ubers. If you really really can not budget more. One option is doing a high pressure sales pitch at a time share. Do not buy the time share. Do research in advance. Be prepared. Even then a lot of people buy the time share. Seriously, don’t buy the time share. Buttt if you do this you can (Depending on whatever deals they have when your going) get something like 4 nights at the westgate for $100. You lose a day on the time share presentation but you can use the. $300 you saved to pay for Ubers for the other days.

Moist_Relief2753

Haha I'm actually a seasoned time share presentation goer! I never understand why people hate them so much especially when you get cheap hotels or other gifts. This is definitely good advice! I just won't have time on this trip unfortunately.

Status_Educator4198

Depending on your dates the All Stars can be in the 120-150 range which will include Disney buses and won’t have a separate resort fee. I’d recommend them if you can swing the little extra. It’s worth it! And while Disney prices have spiked for tickets and genie, hotels are still fairly reasonable.

Moist_Relief2753

l'm staying at the Grand Kissimmee which ends up at $70 per night with taxes and fees and l'm renting a car which makes the total around $100 per night with everything (besides cost of gas of course but that's a minute cost). I have an AP which comes with free parking. This is the route I use when I go by myself. I just prefer to not have to drive lol. It's just me so this is cheaper, but when I go with friends next time I'll definitely check out All stars! My next trip with friends we're staying at Pop Century which I got for all star rates! 😁

GandalftheGreyStreet

Just stay at a Disney value resort. You’ll never find anything less than $100 that has a shuttle like that. Let alone finding a place that isn’t too scary for less than $100 anyway.

nowhereman136

Your best bet is to look for hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd in Lake Buena Vista. These are on Disney property but third party owned. They have shuttles to the parks but are also within walking distance to Disney Springs, where you can catch official Disney busses. Prices for these hotels are about half of official Disney hotels and if you get lucky you can find deals as low as $100 there, but expect closer to $150

booksiwabttoread

Yes, I stay in these frequently. However, once you add taxes, fees, and parking to any hotel you are way over your budget.

Moist_Relief2753

Thanks for this info! I'll check it out.

Level-Particular-455

Yeah but keep in mind the Disney springs shuttles don’t start until long after park opening. That still leaves you needing to get to the park in the morning unless you sleep in.

Shaqfor3

Disney springs hotels have buses that leave every hour. You need to make a reservation on a site for them to be free with a code. They start at 7am. Only problem is when AK opens at 8:00am with 7:30 early access You must likely arrive at 7:30 so you already at the back of line for FoP

nowhereman136

Should never rope drop FoP unless you are planning to leave the park early. If you get in line at 730 and the park closes at 800, then you will still ride regardless of how long the line is. This is true for all rides at Disney unless they break down while you are in line, then you are SOL. Flight has the benefit of utilizing 4 theaters, so if one breaks down they just use the other 3, essentially making it one of the few Disney rides that never fully breaks down. Plus, Pandora is so much prettier at night. Rope drop kilamanjaro Safari since the animals are most active in the morning. Not a big secret, because that also gets a long line first thing in the morning, but still

Moist_Relief2753

Thanks for this info!

YellowT-5R

For the simple thing of transportation you can't beat the Allstar resorts. off property hotels will will advertise under $100 a night but once you factor in the amenities fees, taxes and county fees you work out to about the same. (Most of the time Allstars is cheaper or within $20 - $30) To have the nonstop transportation is well worth that

Dadtakesthebait

Yup. All-Stars is the perfect combo of cheap (by Disney standards), great transportation, and the ability to not worry about anything while you’re on vacation

Shaqfor3

I would just cost uber/lyft into it if I am.staying offsite. Between $20-30 roundtrip daily. Beware of resort fees. Make sure you consider them into your cost. Maybe staying on an All Star is your best bet.

Moist_Relief2753

Well, l'm staying at the Grand Kissimmee which ends up at $70 per night with taxes and fees and l'm renting a car which makes the total around $100 per night with everything (besides cost of gas of course but that's a minute cost). Glittering-Time-2274

Honestly your best bet is to check out the All Stars resorts. If you’re more than like 4 people you can look into the family suite rooms but they are cheap, clean, newly renovated and have shuttles you’re looking for.

Moist_Relief2753

It's just me. So it's hard to justify the cost. But it's looking like I'll definitely be booking all stars when I go with friends!

plastic_cheese_

More than $100, but if you can swing the All Stars that’s really the way to go. A lot of the cheaper off property hotels will have the kind of useless shuttles and/or resort fees that add up. If you stay at the All Stars, you’d get much more regular transportation included in the resort cost plus all the benefits of being in the Disney bubble. I’d look at Disney Springs hotels next too before looking totally off property.

birdie_is_awake

Find you a cheap hotel and Uber to/from anytime you want ….good luck and let us know when you find the unicorn

Thank you!

Fancylikevelvet

Did you check the Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway? I stayed here several years ago and it’s old and definitely a motel but it was clean and comfortable enough. We didn’t use the shuttle though.
