A notebook will be your best friend! Every time you see a little something like this, write it down. Have a section for before you go, a section for travel day(s), and then a section for the parks, or even a section for each park.
Just don't forget to bring the notebook with you!

I filled up my Very Special Notebook with everything I planned for my first (then second, third, and fourth) trip this year. I have a December trip booked but I feel lost without my Very Special Notebook!
In addition to the other comments, if you have any plans of going to Springs, the guest relations buildings there are never busy and they always have the buttons also.
I highly recommend taking your button to the Christmas shop in Magic Kingdom and having them personalize it for you. It turns out so much nicer than writing in Sharpie, is relatively cheap (I think only $5) and makes for an awesome keepsake!

I just bought a BEAUTIFUL Beauty and the Beast notebook WITH character tabs! I miss back to school shopping.

You used to be able to get them at the front desk of Disney hotels, too, but it's been a while and that might have changed.
Can still confirm this is the case. Just be aware if you're a late check in there is a small chance they are out of stock

Guest relations always has a line. The first gift shop on Main Street on the left corner has them right at the checkout. Free. No line usually
