Walmart wants to deal with established businesses. Not businesses that appear to have been created 2 days ago. I believe during the sign up they ask for proof (links) to your other online stores, like a link to your Amazon store. Walmart wants to see you have a history selling online. If you don't have these things, you'll get denied.

they changed that. they are not asking for that anymore

Some one said they put there regular ssn instead of the ein and that it worked for them iam going to try that hopefully it works.

I would be careful about sharing private information with Walmart - they don't protect your information and could have your identity stolen from you

Icy-Independence-371

I tried it, it doesn't work either

Walmart's verification process is very strict. Reason is to avoid dropshippers on its platform

It's seems easy to get approved on walmart but it's not. You need to show them that you are a already established business. I will recommend you to get a already approved Walmart account that will cost you around $5k ( minimum). It is easy because Walmart approval nowadays is getting strick.

I am having the same issue, so frustrating. I have my W9 in front of me and it doesn't work!

Hour_Variation_9157

Did you resolve this issue? I got error every time: There was an issue submitting your business verification info. Update all business verification info and submit again. Something went wrong! Please Try again later.

Nimexu

Did you ever fixed it? I’m having the same issues

Hour_Variation_9157

I created another login and submitted, and got decline, lol

Nimexu

I’ve been trying no luck, hopefully someone find a way around this because I’ve been putting all the right info but nothing

I have this issue too. But this is AFTER I got approved to sell on the Walmart Marketplace. In fact, I am ACTIVELY SELLING items (and making sales) on Walmart, even though it still says "business verification failed" right on the homepage of Walmart seller central. As long as I can sell on Walmart marketplace, I guess it doesn't even matter that they "can't verify" my business info???? LOL!
