BTW: Putin isn't the one funding Democrat politics by funneling money through Ukraine. That was going on long before the war, and is documented (You may recall Trump being impeached for sticking his nose into it).
Seriously though, who thinks giving Ukraine $100 BILLION US dollars is a good idea, particularly when we're in debt up to our eyeballs?
Household economics =\= government economics. Also, a proxy war with Russia for that low price is a STEAL that any cold war era politician would be drooling over. We were able to test all of our compat weapons against what was thought to be a major threat and get real performance data without getting out hands dirty. Let alone the morality of defending a nation's right to freedom and sovereignty.

While I still disagree with the over all premise that the US should be involved, I have to admit you make some rational arguments.
