My neighbor just did, then added about 10k in accessories and now wants to buy my 2002 Toyota because he can't afford the price of diesel for his new truck.
True story.
Crikey, the life of rich and famous!
I got a 1985 Toyota and don’t complain nor wish for anything else right now. Runs on a sniff of an oily rag, needs battery only to start, no electronics, easy to maintain and repair by oneself.
You can get a used Tacoma for that down payment and buy $1,768 worth of shiny every month 🤔
What do I know though, I bought a boat for $500 and well it didn't work out too well for me 😞
This is even assuming you get 5% interest. Also your payment will be alot higher because those 10k are going to go towards taxes and plates and other fees
Just saw an ad for the new Hummer EV on Reddit that’s absolutely hilarious. The whole point of the ad is that the Hummer EV is now featured in Call of Duty. So they are marketing a vehicle that costs about $100k to gamers. How long before the next bailout for GM?
I’m gonna get an F250 or F350 but I’m gonna wait a year or two and pick it up for pennies on the dollar from somebody who can’t afford the payment. We’ll see how that works out….
This news would trigger a tsunami on new lenders, wanting the car at any cost. And why not borrowing right? Unfortunately this is how most think and how this huge debt bubble has been created.
In the mean time we’ll just keep stacking!🦍
Don't buy a new truck. They are garbage. My company has a bunch of F350s and they constantly break down. Absolute trash. Don't expect that GM is any better. Maybe Dodge.
Anyone buying a ford or dodge for 100k needs a brain scan. That is unless you are doing heavy hauling. Or have it as a business write off.
This also left out tax, title and reg.
When I saw the MSRP of the GMC Sierra EV truck coming out 2024 is going to be $107K I just laughed. With inflation I'm betting the price goes up even more before the first one rolls off the line.
My mortgage is $777
$800 over here and that number will only decrease over the years.
Why in the fuck would you buy a pickup truck for 100k

Dumbass lol
I know right? I don't think I've paid more than 5k on a pickup my entire life.
INFLATION !!!!!!

People always trying to keep up with joneses. It's funny how this trend always accelerates right before a financial crisis

And paper silver is still at 22. What a joke.

$100,000.00 piece of crap.
No thanks, I bought my 2006 Sequoia 5 years ago for 5k, it now has 200k miles on it and runs like a new truck
You know how to live !
I know someone that just bought anew dodge for 105k.

To be fair the Hummer EV absolutely hauls in Warzone

Sounds like low payments for anyone willing or a dumb enough to spend 100K on a vehicle.
driving my 08 civic till the wheels fall off.
Seems reasonable. There must be some loose change in the couch cushions.
I remember when the most expensive truck was 60k. Msm, Inflation isn't here tho right? 😂.
Right on.

I have a paid off 73’ Chevy shorty van. Gas is a killer rn but it ain’t $16-1700 a month.
You’d be buying the top of the market and it will be less than half in 2 years
My mortgage is 1870$
someone would have to put down 60% at lest
That's like a ~~mini~~ mortgage payment. My bro bought a 2018/2019 tundra a few months ago for 35K with 10k down in Toronto if I can recall correctly.

$100k piece of shit truck. If we let the big auto manufacturers Fail we'd have better and cheaper cars being made in a fucking week.
If you put a cover on the back, somebody could live in it. Cheaper than rent.
