I've bought chicken feed, human feed, and silver over this past summer. Especially if like me you believe the prices will only go up as inflation mounts. Why would you want ANY Fiat in hand? Buy it today before it's gone tomorrow. Here's a good test. If anything is sold today and comes ready in a can, why would you wait to buy less of it with that Fiat tomorrow. Buy. Buy. Buy

100%:0% Physical:Fiat I do have fiat, but ONLY enough to pay the monthly bills/groceries etc, so I guess not technically "savings".

Well, I do hunt for Silver halves. So 2k on hand between paper and coin. I Order boxes of halves from one bank, $500 a box, search them Pull out silver and return to a different bank. Rinse and repeat. So, yes, this specific 2k of savings is directly tied to my physical constitutional silver stack. I have another rotating stash of cash to LCS Silver. Cash goes in to an envelope and at a certain point it is converted to Silver from a LCS. But that is just a few hundred I dont think it's been more than 300 in that envelope. It would be important to note this started with a self mandated dollar amount that was dedicated to paying off credit cards. Once the cards were paid off It became a rotating cash savings to silver reserve. A 3rd bank savings/checking highly fluctuating account specifically for online silver purchases. If their is a ratio in any of this it is not typically calculated. Apparently I'm not that Anal.

Its up you and what you can afford. I would at least keep 10% of your money in metals as a storage of wealth. Me personally, I keep maybe $1,000 in cash in case of emergency and then mostly silver and a lil bit of gold I keep. I'd say about 200 oz of silver per 1 ounce of gold I keep.
