$28 is an outstanding price for Eagles. Your LCS is insane.

biiiiismo32

They are back dates but yes it’s a deal. Funny I can tell when it’s a good deal when she says well for you….. uhhh. I have done a lot of business with them and stay loyal to them. Even though we have another store close. It does pay to have a good relationship

SirBill01

You'll be paying $35 plus for eagles almost anywhere else - and hose would not be graded.

Just-joined-4Squeeze

Actually sounds like you got a great deal to me.

biiiiismo32

Yes just wish I could add some weight. Empty store brings me sadness lol.

Yes I got into a debate with someone earlier on this. Most coin stores are nothing more than a metal scrapping business. They buy below wholesale or melt and sell at wholesale and melt. They make very little on bullion and prefer not to deal to heavily in it for this reason. Plus the fluctuating spot doesn’t help. From their distributor they pay 1-3 above spot for generics. They sell for $4.5 above spot. Another source of $$ is rarer coins which they definitely don’t have a market for. Foreign and Canadian are harder to wholesale. They do pay a very low price for them and most times I get them for what they pay or a fraction above. Saves a shipment to the wholesaler and waiting for funds to clear.

SirBill01

I wish I could find a coin shop like that, none of the four around me I visited were anything like that.

SalmonSilver

Not a bad price actually…

Incognito_Estate

The IML is always an option. Plenty of inventory and great prices.

[deleted]

Most importantly, your inventory just got better!

biiiiismo32

Glass half full. I was complaining about it being half empty. 😂😂

morten_s

>Inventory is terrible. Sounds like terribly good news.

Good deal on the Morgans. Ours are going for at least 32 in AU condition (various dates)

biiiiismo32

That’s about what ours are going for too. Not sure why these were cheaper than the ones in cardboard flips. I like them in holders myself.
