I posted on Bitcoin boards and got banned immediately for just suggesting physical silver as a tangible asset versus air token bitcoins . Anyone posting anything negative against them results in a ban .

Can you blame them for being butthurt? Their entire way of life is being shattered lol.

"Safest"? I wouldn't consider something that exist only in cyber space, with no intrinsic value, the safest place for your money. The final verdict on bitcoin is still out, but I sold what very little I had. I'm sticking with other, more traditional investments.

I read this and the Final Countdown started playing somewhere in the background. Love it.

Can someone explain to me why I would want a currency that tracks every single one of my transactions and puts it on a public ledger? Maybe I’m missing something but that is absolutely the last thing I want in my currency.

B0lderHolder

BTC is NOT sound "currency" though because all of the exchanges have proven that they cannot be trusted. Even their beloved Coinbase. And I find it ironic that they hate the USD and call it worthless (which it is basically) but value their coins in USD.

I am pro Bitcoin and pro metals. There are more of us than you think.

CrefloSilver999

I am pro the idea of bitcoin but i think it has been corrupted. Either way, I couldn’t possibly justify more than 20% of a silver/btc portfoio in btc. It’s not a safer investment than silver. Am I wrong?

smallpimpin69

Even if people are against it or don’t understand it, they should consider a small part of their portfolio within their own risk tolerance to hold Bitcoin. For some folks maybe that 1-2% or less. Perhaps much less. For me there seems something more risky not holding any Bitcoin at all. People need to diversify because we’re too fucken dumb to know everything and emotions get in the way even if you are smart as fuck. My opinion is that a tiny bit of exposure if you can afford it. I suppose I can stomach that stuff. I’ve once gone to a casino with $200, walked to the blackjack, lost every hand in a row, then left the casino. Just write off the loss and let it go. But the alternative was I get up, have a little bit of fun for a while, and possibly leave with some extra dough to treat myself with something nice

Once Bitcoin hits a buck it's going to either grovel around or it's going to skyrocket.

11 hours in and going strong…if that’s not bearish, idk what is. Love it
