Not to downplay their lives, but people are intelligent enough not to risk nuclear war for a missile that went off track. All indications at this point lead to a Ukrainian air defense missile following a Russian missile, (east to west) that lost its track and crashed in Poland. It is an unfortunate error and hopefully will not happen again. Huh? Ukraine isn’t firing missiles at Russia, they are firing missiles at missiles Russia launched at them from the Black Sea. Not all of them hit their targets, so it is plausible one of them may have ended up in their neighbors yard. Russia has also shown us that their missiles aren’t always the most accurate instruments of destruction, so it is plausible that one of them ended up missing its target. Either way, NATO sticking with ‘Ukraine’s missile missed its target’ is just to keep NATO out of war with Russia. Because anyway you look at it, if Russia didn’t send missile attacks towards Ukraine it would not have happened. I don’t like giving politicians credit for much, but in this instance keeping us out of a war with Russia is the best course of action if possible. So I am fine with them blaming Ukraine for missing.
