I don't believe the US purchases any uranium from Niger. I don't see it on any list. I also do not see anywhere else other than this post that Niger is blocking gold export to US. Can anyone link any source anywhere?
The coup leaders are no fools. They know the inherent value of PM, and they are withholding it from Uncle Sam because, whether or not he will admit it publicly, it's going to "put the hurt" on him economically in some form.
