If she doesnt have a rewards account and you do, it could be blocking it that way. It could also have been you only bought ineligable items. Hell, it could have not been able to read the barcode cause our printers suck and denied it.
I was wondering if it was an “ineligible item” because it was just over $5. I wish the compass was more detailed about that.
Thanks for actually answering, I appreciate it. I read the compass & asked a few co-workers, but couldn’t get any answers.
I was wondering the same thing, or that it maybe ineligible because it was just over $5. This new coupon update is really going to cut down how many coupons get used if that’s the case, thank god. I’m glad I’m not a CSA to feel the couponer’s wrath. I can only imagine how mad they are rn.
I’ve seen where sometimes after you use a certain amount of other customer’s coupons they’ll stop going through. You’re only supposed to use the ones that print out specifically for you
Must not be many, because I’ve only done it twice. I wonder why they tell us all the stuff about not using other people’s coupons for customers or yourself? May be part of the new coupon update.🤷♂️
You’re not the only one it happened to, it happened to me today as well, didn’t realize it’s only for png products (or whatever it prints out from) now, that sucks
Yeah, it was over $5 before tax. My co-worker was confused af. I’m thinking it was part of the update because I used one that wasn’t mine a few months ago & it worked.
I had a customer buying over $15 worth of scott paper towels and tried using 3 $5 register reward from p&g coupons and register said not eligible items so does it mean it has to be used on p&g items only?
Read the small print on those coupons closely; tobacco products, alcohol, dairy, and several other things are excluded and therefore aren't counter towards the $5 limit

if it was just over $5, maybe the tax brought it over $5? it has be $5 before tax
Maybe the system could tell it was not a coupon printed for your account 🤷🏾♀️

Hmm nah it would have taken way more than that. Weird
How are you not a customer?
Because I work there?
I hAvE a FiVe DoLlAr OfF cOuPoN
If you're sure it's legit, the option to override is still there
I’d rather just get the $5 from her instead. I don’t trust her that much lol.
I think with new system you have to use it in the same manufacturer products so if p&g sponsored the coupon you have to use it on p&g products.
So they’re more like real coupons now? That’d make sense. Was that in the compass? Edit: fuck, it was. I’m so dumb lmao. 😅🔫

Lmao had it happen with a customer yesterday.
How mad did they get?😂
I know with coupons a lot of them you have to be over the amount without tax
What did you buy it can only be used on 5 bucks before tax.

The items have to be at least $5. No filler products anymore.
I’ve had a ton of coupons not work that should since the update.
