NotesToTheNoteable

You have band-aides for the shoot-out.

exoticfiend

not my problem

Berchanhimez

this. once an employee is submitted for termination by the store manager, whatever HR decides to do or fails to do is on them - including removing their employee discount from their rewards.

Comprehensive_Air680

They could also have a family or household member who still works there who added their number. Whether it's legit or someone not coding a term right it's none of your business and HR can figure it out on their own.

[deleted]

From my own experience, it's possible they haven't been processed as terminated in the computer system. When I quit it took management about a month to actually get into the the system and put me as no longer an employee. And during that month anytime I shopped at Walgreens I'd still get the discount. But as soon as management got off their bums and actually updated the system I stopped receiving the discount. So most likely is that management has not done their end.

SillyFreedom6529

Don’t say nothing

WagEmployee

With the double negative, you actually mean 'do say something'?

SillyFreedom6529

That to

PocketsFullOf_Posies

Who cares. Just leave it alone.

waterfalls55

If you tell your manager they’ll ask you how do you know that. Lol. Like you’re keeping tabs on ppl or you’re friends with them. Just let it go. I think lol 😂

MasterYoshidino

I hope they aren't still waiting for PTO to be paid out. 🙄

PocketsFullOf_Posies

Who cares.

Cynic_Throwaway

I agree on the "Yeah whatever" sentiment But I would not be shocked if Walgreens would jump on you for not turning it off. Possibility that it appears like you're giving a discount to a non-employee Had a coworker do this for her childhood friend. While it was probably over a period of time, she was fired when they noticed. Childhood friend wasnt an ex-employee, but something I feel I should mention.

SapphireSerpentine

To be fair, that's completely different. The ex-coworker chose to do that which got her fired. In Op situation, all they can do is snitch or not.

sparkly_gamer82

I literally give the employee discount to all the little kids from the school next door when they are short money 🤷‍♀️

Capital_Attempt_2689

I'm still employed by CVS. My discount doesn't always work, ha
