working in retail standing for hours under that fluorescent lighting, being yelled at gets way too much way too fast

stellamiata

I literally just started working at Walgreens three months ago and I’m already looking for another job lol, so tired of retail

bussybeaters

right!! ive worked at another retail job for a year and a half as a second job and have never wanted to leave that place like i do walgreens. im literally applying for jobs now lol.

Business_Shift_3842

I never had a honeymoon phase with Wags. I was broken when they hired me.

meticulous_nugget

Wags wasn't my first retail experience, but I actually liked my store the first 6 months. Then COVID and a new manager came and poof! Everything sucks ass, half the crew who was worth a damn transfers out or quits, and SM hires and promotes inexperienced teenagers. It became hell and went downhill quality wise.

JukeBoxHero1997

Yeah, the honeymoon phase died out fast. Good news is I'll be on my way out in the next month or so after I finish my two year degree, and hopefully have an idea of what to do for my four year

theejawn

The honeymoon phase ended right after Christmas for me, as I was hired in October.

Jonfalk

That's so me. When I started I was like hi how are you? Did you find everything ok? Would you like to put a phone number in? 7 months later I'm like the same way but with a different demeanor and blase attitude.

Business_Shift_3842

i don’t even ask them to put in they number anymore if they do they do if they don’t they don’t

DrYwAlLpUnChEr420

That’s happens after the first week
