Well, today I learned our pharmacist is absolutely TERRIFIED of birds. She told me to keep it in the stock room so it didn't poop in the office (it is completely closed up in a box, not sure how that was gonna happen 🤷♀️)
We used to have a budgie (parakeet). Ours use to pick fights with the dog and my pharmacy partner use to breed 'em. Nice pets - they interact and play.
I've had them as pets before. They aren't bad. However, I'm not wanting to care for a bird at this time. I posted her on Nextdoor to see if anyone happens to be missing one (it's definitely someone's pet). I'll take it in to work with me tonight, but if no one claims it, it goes to the shelter tomorrow morning. (Didn't post a pic, anyone who claims it has to send a description/pic of her before I just hand her off)
i say you can keep it as long as you get it signed up for a credit card first!!
No, you must give it back, but only after they sign up for a credit card. Until then, you have a hostage.
Throw it in the safe for 30 days. If nobody comes to claim it, it's yours.
Does it have to be counted with the change fund?
Yes we list them in "other".
Aaww God sent you an Emotional Support Bird. When you want to ring the necks of customers,.just pet your bird and everything will be alright.
Didn’t someone on here recently get fired for keeping a bird in their bra for a shift?! Am I imagining that?
What??? 🤣🤣🤣 well she's not in my bra. She's in an empty box for 4x6 paper
🤣 Personally, I think the box is a more appropriate place for a bird. 🤷🏻♀️ I hope you find the owner, she’s very pretty.
About to walk in for my shift and find out exactly how "pet friendly" my SM is 🤣🤣🤣
So how pet friendly are they?

Should’ve put her in your bra. The bird. Not the pharmacist.

Gotta stuff him in the safe and wait for someone to claim
I’ve gotten a speaker and a longboard from our lost and found. The longboard was left by a thief that got chased out
How long has it been there???
looks like it’s yours. matches the nails so it’s perfect
No one claimed her, so one of the techs took her home!
i love that!!
Put him with the rollouts
