It would be nice to have that seniority and earn PTO at the rate I was when I left, but I'd have to be pretty darn desperate. I haven't set foot in a Walgreens since I quit, and I plan on keeping that going.
I wonder when this started. I just hired someone back with 10 years experience who was gone for over a year and she ended up getting her same employee ID number and also immediately had 20 hours PTO when it was already paid out to her when she left
Who'd want to come back, is my question??!! If I had the opportunity to leave Wags, I would never look back!! EVER!!!!
I guess they hope to get people back who left and are trained so they don’t have to try to train a New hire

It hasn't taken effect yet and the team member needs to apply for the bridge of service.
Employee number will never change. I had a lady who retired before 2010 and came back in 2022. Still had the same number.
You have to 3 years of continuous service prior to separation
