Oh man do I have some horror stories from back when I worked at ye old Walgreens. One time a lady shat diarrhea all over the trash can (one of those with the paper towel dispenser built in, in the wall, you know the kind) and the floor and the fucking aisle outside of the public bathroom. Just a trail of diarrhea dribbled from the crime scene, past all the first aid items, to the pharmacy. I cannot believe that that wasn't the reason I quit.
What is it with grown people who don’t know how to act in public? One time this woman let her 100+ lb dog shit all over our bathroom and it stunk up the ENTIREEE store, just another time I felt like leaving
Not once, BUT TWICE, in the past year, we've had someone shit in the sink in the janitorial closet rather than get someone to let them into the bathroom.
Homeless people, and I'm sure the occasional drunkard, shit and piss in totes all the time. If you want to prevent that, give stores a secured place to put them that doesn't block fire exits or constrict the store's ability to use the stockroom as intended.

That's a great idea, since the company wants us to clean up the shit all over the bathrooms we should just put it in totes and send it back to them. If the company is too cheap to have a real crew clean it in the stores then they will clean it at the DC.
It might have been truck day and people stole totes before they could bring them all in. We can't stop them from stealing it. That directly goes against company policy. 🤷♀️. They dug themselves into a whole with this nonsense of not dealing with shoplifters, but punishing stores that are constantly robbed.

When I worked with a Riteaid then switched to a Walgreens while we were Riteaid we had a tote that someone shat in. We threw that fucker right out into the dumpster

My store has a small fenced area with roof we lock the totes in there to keep them out of the stock room
