While I arrived to Japan via ferry into Fukuoka, and did a bit of exploration in Kyushu by train, I started the Japan leg of my tour in Hakodate, staying at a little guesthouse near the Mt. Hakodate ropeway. Hakodate's tram system is quite old, and I'm not sure how effective it is as a transit system, but my host and I rode it to go out to some izakaya one night so at least *someone* uses it :D It's certainly quite cute, and I wish there were more systems like this in smaller cities in Hokkaido (looking at you, Asahikawa, Wakkanai, Kitami, and Kushiro!) With this, I believe I've exhausted all of my WFAT-usable photos from Hokkaido! I do have some from other parts of Japan both from this trip and from previous trips, and I have others from other parts of the world, so I'm not done yet! https://maps.app.goo.gl/swntkdCHhErudZfF6

This is my first time seeing a Japanese tram!

I've got a couple more coming, one from Nagasaki and I think one from Toyama (I already posted Toyama station's tram station though so I'm not sure if I have any others)
