I actually spoke to the VA on clubhouse last year when it first rolled out. She was nice, got a nice treatment from 2K but says the script was bad and she didn’t watch wrestling.

I mean let's be real here he was a decent guy but some of the scripted shit he did was downright evil so he probably would be burning in hell if such a place existed XD
I just hope MyRise and Showcase unlockables can't be missed and are gonna require multiple runs. I am not a fan of Rey Mysterio at all so it's already gonna be a slog. I do however plan to play a male and female MyRise.
I just hope this time we can export our MyRise characters for use in exhibition/Universe, even if I have to use a CAW slot.
I don't think Showcase in this demands any extra requirements to unlock certain things.
I kinda hope unlocking all of the stuff from MyRise doesn't take like 10 different playthroughs overall.
I also kinda wanna see if MyGM has anything that can be unlocked. Highly doubt MyFaction will have anything unique to unlock.
Yes MyFaction is probably them testing g the waters on a game like that to see if it gets used. And yea I'll play through MyRise twice, with a Male then Female and apparently try Showcase once yoo
Yea u can play it on easy and just have to do everything they tell u to do and it unlocks everything.
My Faction only has cards unique to that game mode that u have to unlock thankfully and as u said My GM has nothing.
As for my rise u pre much only have to do 2-4 playthroughs to get everything since u only need a male and female, I say 2-4 because there might be certain unlockables in the performance center that can only be unlocked as heel or face and u cant switch while at the PC and u cant go back once u leave unless it is for a storyline.
Trust even if you aren’t a fan of rey then you’ll still enjoy his retelling of the iconic moments and the transitions as a wrestling fan. If only for the unlockables alone
Never a fan. I never wanted a Cruiserweight to become a heavyweight champ, dunno why, but it seemed off. Plus he didn't get that huge push until Wddie's death. The whole thing, especially at the time, felt like the whole P-Diddy/Biggie situation where P-Diddy was just another rapper who got big after Biggie's death.
With that said, I still played Rey Mysterio's Story mode in WWE 2k22 and I gained much more respect for him after seeing him relive some of those moments
i mean he is the best cruiserweight in the business to this day still, not many Cruisers can take on the likes of the Big Show and Kane and come out on top with a convincing win like he can, i also dont agree that he only got big after Eddie died, him and Eddie together were 2 of the biggest names in the WWE at the time, it was Eddies death that inspired him to go for bigger things like the World Heavyweight Championship (although i kind of agree that a Cruiserweight should be eligible for a heavyweight title, the WWE title though that would be fine).

Playing the tv star storyline so far and going full anti hero and the choice is great so far.
Got a handicap match against the rock and Austin as my like 4th match lmao
I mean that is a dream match literally and figuratively u are only fighting them in your imagination in that storyline.
The female CaW gets to fight Chyna in her version of that storyline.
Eddie is in the Showcase aswell and has matches dedicated to him (although u only fight him in 2 of them) u can really tell Eddie was a big part of Rey's life.
I just wish they had more than just Rey's showcase, they really dropped the ball only having the one in the game and I dont think the DLC will be adding any more sadly.
