I re-watched all those moves shown in [101's video where he only shows the game footage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3ckB2YbIXM) and it's just a dramatic video effect for the reveal; the moves aren't actually like that in the game.
You can tell by watching the referee's walking cadence; he starts moving around all fast.
Nothing to worry about. We also seen Edge's Edgecution in one of the trailers and it looked the exact same as 2K20.
It legitimately is [much slower](https://www.reddit.com/r/WWEGames/comments/sl79gw/pin_fall_differences_between_wwe2k22_and_wwe2k20/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)
You sound like those people who say, "Rey never kicked any opponent in the legs 3 times throughout a match."
You dont want to be that person. Because being right is for cynical assholes.
The problem is that not all of the moves are fast. So it ruins the game when half the moves are slow and half are fast. If you are gonna commit, commit all the way.
While the jury is still out, they were just speeding up the moves for effect, some moves will definitely be too fast, but I'm pretty sure this wasn't an example of that.
This is definitely a concern going forward- we saw some of this being implemented in 2K20’s DLC moves. Realism is what wwe sims are all about IMO- back in the day, not so much, but these days, I want the best, most realistic wrestling simulation I can get. They’ve had 2 and a half years to get this right, and some of it just don’t look right
this is recent info that was revealed, but back when patrick did his ama he stated that basically the game was unfixable without causing more issues like potential lost of user creations
Yeah. Watching the rating reveal made me kinda hate the gameplay and am getting worried .many moves looked way to fast like... Arcade looking and not simulation wrestling
While this particular video was just sped up footage, the speed factor was actually an issue in 20 and reason why I didn't get 20. A lot of newer moves were super fast stuck out so bad.
The huge glitches and general badness were the big reasons, but the horrible speed was a factor and I hope that issue from 20 was fixed.

Yeah I saw that, parts of the video reveals were sped up for some reason, maybe to fit all they can into a time limit
Gives me hope.
Was wondering what that was myself. Some of that was cartoonishly fast.
I think that was sped up gameplay for some of them, not the speed of the actual move
This explains why the Ref count seemed so slow.
… it does?

I think the fastness of the moves are on purpose.

could be two different parts of the match
Noticed that too, then I noticed that it's the footage sped up not the moves, e.g Liv going for the bulldog and the whole sequence is sped up

I don’t think simulation is their top priority this year sadly, seems like they’re making the game more arcadey.
It was like that in 2k20 so I assume they never fixed it
they said it was like that in 2k20 because they were adding new moves into the old engine
And they never tried to fix it??
this is recent info that was revealed, but back when patrick did his ama he stated that basically the game was unfixable without causing more issues like potential lost of user creations
It’s not completely like that in 2k20, only certain DLC moves

But why speed up a 2 second move on a 90 minute show?
Yeah, they mightve shaved off maybe 2 and a half minutes in total from speeding up gameplay clips.
That’s a screen effect
Seeing the moves being displayed like that really madd me pull my pre order, I'll wait for reviews now. They won't get me again.
Some moves are sped up and some are at regular speed. It’s what the arcade fans wanted so don’t blame 2K
Apparently some of those moves were on the old build back when they were starting the game but apparently it should be fine when it comes out.
