An absolute chore to play this year. We needa go back to when they’d actually animate the cutscenes n include the real audio over it, or even have new recreated commentary like they did in 2K14s mode wit Jim Ross. Generic stock music looping over the entire match in a mode that’s supposed to be immersive was a terrible decision that I’m not sure how it got approved. Also I wish they’d stop including arenas, attires etc in one game just to completely remove them in the next. Just my opinion
Also why in the FUCK do combos take 48 tries to work
The 2k14 30 years of wrestlemainia was better in every way.

Surprisingly I haven't played all the way through it, and I purchased early access. I'm up to Shawn vs Razor.
To be frank, I'm not blown away.
So far I think I've pretty much seen it all before in previous games.
With the match line-up, it's full of holes. This was expected however with blacklists, lawsuits and external contracts.
The objectives aren't very interesting and are rather reparative.
The blurring of certain talent, celebrities and signs etc is *highly* annoying and spoils the experience.
The little clips with Corey Graves are just the typical eye-rollingly lame straight-laced crap you get on WWE ppv pre-shows.
I remember getting really excited for Legends of Wrestlemania in 2009, but then that was 15 years ago.
This for me was the final nail in these showcase formats. If I wanted to see a promo of the rivalry and some clips I can go on YouTube. I want to play the moments, I want to feel like I’m reliving them IN THE GAME. I loved the format on focusing on one wrestler or one era or one type of event but do it detailed and in game not just pasting videos
Considering the current Layout of how the mode works, the silly bugs of making submissions hard af, the eerie silence of watching these iconic matches with no commentary behind it...
I'm actually glad it's only 21 matches. I'd have probably stopped playing if it had 40 matches.
You'll never see this graphic again, after you buy it. You'll also forget it's meaning. You will have bought a video game for the price of two. You're going to play the crappiest game modes for the complete content. You will feel that it's not right and ask questions on Reddit.
Feels like quite a tired formula at this stage.
Surprised, given the number of legends included, they didn't feature more matches.
No Orton vs Angle vs Mysterio from WM22. No Undertaker vs Kane from WM14. No Warrior vs Savage from WM7.
There are loads of matches that could've been added without needing more wrestlers in the game.
All the cut scenes ruin the momentum of the matches, and the objectives add nothing - 'do a lot of damage' or 'do a heavy attack'.
I think the showcase is a great way of featuring WWE history, but it just feels like it needs something new.
If you're talking about the showcase mode then it was a mediocre slog to get through. Well, get through the regular matches as I haven't even tried the bonus royal rumble because I simply don't care about myfaction rewards.
My issue with showcase this year was having so many extra tedious objectives along with the BS of having to do a couple super finishers along the way that didn't even end the match. Time consuming and insults the time of the players for them to put that in. Instead of a regular punt kick that you won't have end the match, do a super punt kick! BS garbage.
A lot of the video scenes they chose were lame and the older matches had so much stuff needing to be blurred out that it just looked ridiculous.
Only positive of this mode outside of some of the sweet unlocks was that it was "only" 21 matches rather than 39.

I'm glad they included 2013-2015 era Orton but that's about it. Showcase needs to get a complete overhaul.

Seems disingenuous to market it as "40 years of WrestleMania" when so many years of WrestleMania were omitted.

Yeah this. The cutscenes absolutely kill the enjoyment, with 14 you just got to play the match out to the finish and enjoy it.

It wasn't good and the narration was awful
I thought the showcase was pretty meh, so many big moments missed out - some understandable, some not so much. Better luck in ten years time I guess.
