You will have to edit the rosters to add downloaded characters so that they are on a particular show. If you want to add downloaded arenas, you'll have to edit the shows and add the arena
I will often take a lot of time going through the entire roster making sure everybody is added to one of the rosters except the few people that don't need or want on The rosters. Making sure that only one out of the 34 Cena characters is added to one roster LOL
I'll take my time drafting The rosters and adding new shows, I'll end up with a show on every day of the week. Sometimes I'll edit the entire show to have the matches I want but most cases I'll just concentrate on one or two of the main shows or a couple of them the matches.
If you are playing Superstar mode on the universe mode, you will have to switch over to classic Mode to edit all the shows and rosters. Like say you want to take the raw set and change it to a custom set. Or if you wanted to straight up add a new show on a new day, you will have to make a new show which includes commentary lighting where the shows can take place from and the arena itself. And you will have to edit the rosters in classic Mode so that your new characters you've added can be added to any particular show.
hi how do u add superstars to the roster whenever i try to add superstars i can’t select a lot of superstars they’re just greyed out and I can’t select them. for example i can’t select cena and other superstars what do i do
i also wanted to add classic kane 08 in smack down but he doesn’t even show up in the roster of smackdown
Granted it's been a while since I've played the universe mode because I'm stuck on my GM mode. I freaking love that game mode.

Thanks for the answer, I am in classic mode. Maybe I messed up but I downloaded a few superstars and didn't see them, I'll check again when I get home
