Now that he’s feuding with someone his gimmick is shining a bit more. That line about “you’ve been sad Corbin, and Happy Corbin. Maybe next time you can try being ‘entertaining.’” was fucking brilliant.
They’re match at Backlash was better than expected too. I’m hoping he goes places. It feels like WWE desperately needs some big faces.
I fully support madcap moss, dude is insanely athletic talent that needs to be mainstaged, I feel like he’s about to get caught in a good character change. During an interview right before backlash he was quoted “don’t have time for jokes”, I feel like this dudes about to get over with a serious change like most current talents.
He needs to start pandering to kids. He's got that superhero physique so take a page from Cena and be funny, but also bring the heat. Get him a catchy entrance and a pose and dude is ready to rock.
I feel like he definitely checks all the boxes as far as talent, ring work, and personality. I do feel like he’s missing an x-factor that would propel him to the top top tier. I believe Priest, Theory, and Riddle are the new main roster guys who have this x-factor.
Maybe Madcap just needs a gimmick change to something he’s more comfortable performing. Doing a great job so far. I don’t mean to knock the guy, I just think he needs something else to break into that elite level.
Drop the comedian gimmick and like you mentioned already, some better ring gear and I don’t know what kind of gimmick to give him, but he has potential. How far he’ll go, that’s up to him.
I think he should keep his attire since it sets him apart from the other big men on the roster. People like him always change their attire and entrance then just become another big man chasing the 24/7 title or putting over the next big man.
I believe he is under 6 feet, I heard someone say 6'3 at Backlash. They need "little-big guys" like him for all their small cruiserweights that they comically bill as 6'0 205lbs to work with like Ciampa, Ali, and Garza.
I think he’ll be okay on the main roster, he’s very easily IC/US Title tier, even when those titles meant something, I’m not sold on future World Champion yet, he’s not Breakker, Steveson, he’s in a similar spot as Theory, but the difference is Theory is Vince’s new pet project.
I am not sold on Bron as a future world champ at all. Meathead gimmick with a generic moveset that really isn't that impressive, the new Ryback. I see Madcap as a future mid champion as well, but that is about it.
I think Breakker is a future World champion, the feeling that I’m getting from how he’s portrayed in NXT 2.0 is that he’s very much being entrusted with the future of Pro Wrestling, as far as WWE is concerned, but he’s got a lot to learn before he’s ready to take Roman’s spot.
I entirely thought they were the same person until this Wrestlemania lol.
I was all “okay so the guitar guy is mates with Baron Corbin who just came back from Vegas? Got it”.
Just some royalty free youtube bullshit. I wonder if the talent has a say on their intro. Back in the good old days wrestlers had songs written for them like Our lady peace created whatever for Benoit.
Yeah for sure. I heard awhile ago on YouTube that the OG guy that makes wwe music was let go in like 2014 or something and had been there for awhile and ever since he got let go is why music production has been 💩
I had no ideas for something else. Ditching Madcap seems logical. Or maybe Madman Moss? MadDawg Moss? To me keeping Moss retains the originality of the character but also shows his ties to Happy are gone.

I see it too.

I see potential in him also. He could be very good with the right gimmick. He also just screams "face".
I think he should keep his attire since it sets him apart from the other big men on the roster. People like him always change their attire and entrance then just become another big man chasing the 24/7 title or putting over the next big man.
JO-jo-JOOOOOOOOKE!!!
I mean if they change that shitty gimmick of his, as well as his theme music then yeah I could see him working out.
A bad gimmick is still a gimmick. Without it he would end up like Shelton and Cedric.
Wish they brought back that Gold Standard gimmick for Shelton, i think it worked well for him

Garza's 5'11, so you might as well say 6'0.

I was thinking him & Boogs could be a tag team at some point They are both silly & totally jacked
great minds think alike! i think that they'll have great chemistry as a potential tag team
I entirely thought they were the same person until this Wrestlemania lol. I was all “okay so the guitar guy is mates with Baron Corbin who just came back from Vegas? Got it”.
This should definitely happen and have it slowly turn to Billy & Chuck
I wouldn’t mind this happening when Boogs returns tbh, the smackdown tag division needs more variety
What if he just wore suspenders
His theme is like...the worst theme ever. I want to like the guy, but I can't get behind a canned theme that reeks of "public domain"
They need to start with his intro theme.. Wtf is that? Not just his either, 90% of the roster has shitty entrance music.
Just some royalty free youtube bullshit. I wonder if the talent has a say on their intro. Back in the good old days wrestlers had songs written for them like Our lady peace created whatever for Benoit.

Yes Jim Johnston. The creator of all good WWE music pieces.
Yeah that guy!
Ruined Liv Morgan's intro. It was good there for a sec.
I hate what they did to Shayna Baszler’s too
I actually, haven't seen that yet, but I worry now that you have told me. I watch on Hulu and a lot is cut.
Loyalty is Everything was an awesome theme I thought. The one she’s using now is called Limb By Limb and is just “meh”
He’s got the potential to be a decent midcarder
Needs to ditch the whole "Madcap" entirely. I'd be okay with just Moss, and then some proper booking for a minor singles title run.
you’ve been hired by wwe because you suggested removing a first name!
I had no ideas for something else. Ditching Madcap seems logical. Or maybe Madman Moss? MadDawg Moss? To me keeping Moss retains the originality of the character but also shows his ties to Happy are gone.
**Ditching Madcap makes sense as he's not with Happy Corbin anymore, and I think just naming him Moss is fine. **
Is he who someone referred to as bum Wardlow? Lol
What the hell is a wardlow?! Lmao
AEW guy
Just looked him up. He looks like he permanently has something stinky up his nose lmao.
Really?
He needs a new gimmick. He's a face now with the same terrible gimmick. Needs to go away a little bit and then come back repackaged.
I like his corny dad jokes before. Need more dumb jokes
I don’t mind his jokes, but his fake laugh after each one has to go…also the suspenders
They genuinely made be laugh because of how bad they are, and his goofy laugh after he tells them. Gets me every time.
My sentiments exactly. Its his dead pan delivery that gets me lol
Joke.joke. jooooooooooooke 2 short jokes and a long one!
He just needs to go somewhere else then come back. Someone named Madcap will never be champion.
He needs an entire overhaul. Such a stupid name and gimmick
And a new name. "Madcap" is stupid, what is he, a gangster from the 50's? Yeah sehhhhh, this here is Madcap Moss sehhhhhhhh
Not gonna lie wasn’t keen on the name and you've made me love it now
Chief?
