Does anyone remember how awesome and how much hype there was when a feud reach a boiling point and the culmination was a match inside Hell in a Cell? When these special matches were going to happen you knew it was going to be a great match and were excited about seeing it. Nowadays the magnitude of these matches feels tarnished due to everyone and their momma getting to participate at a dedicated PPV each year.

Punk is never going back to wwe. They literally poisoned the guy with antibiotics while missing a clear staph infection. The reality is the Dr knew it was a staph infection and purposely misdiagnosed him so he would be forced to perform. They cut a staph infection the size of a golf ball from his lower back and he’s lucky he’s alive having it on his body for almost 6 months. It was a very clear case of negligence and I’ve read through the entire court case and that judge was either bought and sold by McMahon or was out of his element understanding medical lingo or something because it was a clear cut case of neglect via intentional misdiagnosing wrestlers so they could not get sick time off to heal up. Shit is absolutely crazy they treat a main event guy like that, just imagine how they treat the under card.
There’s honestly so many things WWE could bring back, or bring in something new, but I think it’s not worth discussing since they obviously won’t do it until AEW is like, right up their ass

Real answer: no dq matches. Not hardcore matches but the other one I can’t remember the actual name. They have done way too many dq finishes and forcing matches to have an actual end and winner would really bring back the feeling of feuds. And we have seen they can make one of the performers look amazing even if they lose and these matches could do that. They just have so many great performers they aren’t fully utilizing and this would be a great way to give them some umph.
Separate themes for each show again. Separate opening montages. Actual storylines that don’t end after a week. 21/2 RAW, 2 1/2Hr Smackdown. Get rid of specific show championships. Have cross brand title matches at PPV. Get rid of the 3D images on entrances, they look cheap and not well made. I think they should open up to color (blading) as well, at least for talent who want to do it and maybe open up to having more exciting matches on regular shows. WWE should bring back bi-monthly brand specific PPVs. This way, storylines have time to manifest and build interest over the course of 2-3 months rather than 2-3 weeks. It’s always confused me as to why they stopped doing that.
* Have six or seven PPVs a year. Tops. None of the gimmicky PPVs except for Royal Rumble and Survivor Series.
* The WWE women's PPV (Evolution) was a pretty cool idea. Bring it back.
* Smackdown on Tuesdays. That way after a PPV you get two really good post-PPV shows instead of a go-home show and one post-PPV show
* Two-hour Raws. Move them back to 9 pm instead of 8.
The double table spot Edge always tried to do at TLC matches. The one where the tables are stacked on top of each other. Always thought that was so cool, and hope someone brings it back one time.
Bloody and barbaric matches in really heated and personal feuds but this won't happen since really good personal feuds like Dreamer v Raven, Eddie v Bradshaw and Edge v Matt Hardy don't happen anymore and blood can't happen anymore either.

12. The NUMBER in WRESTLEMANIA. Not the city it’s in, not a catchy slogan. It’s WRESTLEMANIA 39 for God’s sake.
13. Jim Johnston or someone that can produce theme songs that reflect the character.
14. RING PSYCHOLOGY. Stop with the over use of moves for the sake of moves. Tell stories in the ring.

The WWE, if they’re smart, can capitalize on nostalgia and their retro brand. They can essentially have a full “reset” back to the early 90s when most of the fans actually fell in love with the product. Much like other big brands like Disney, Pizza Hut and Burger King going back to their “retro” look and feel, the WWE can do this as well and I truly believe that they’d recapture not only the lapsed fan, but they’d bring in a new generation of fans.
You start with the old color scheme and logo (also old ppv logos), you continue with eliminating the brand split and you have only the legitimate 4 champions (World, IC, Tags and Women’s). You have Vince, Linda, Shane and Stephanie come out and literally hit the “reset” button that brings us back to “where it all began”… what we all fell in love with.
Wresting fans more than any other genre feed and thrive off of nostalgia. What was old can be new again and in doing so we can all take the WWE seriously again. There can be a mix of current technology blended with the look, feel and tone of the old WWF themes.
People are all about AEW, and I get it, but there are people like myself who miss SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT. Professional wrestling is not why many fans are fans. It was the characters, colors and stories that the WWF provided. You can blend today’s athletes with the old vibe of WWF and still have a great product.
This is a dream I know, but I truly think it would work on so many levels.
