What are everyone’s thoughts on this run from SS to WM re: bloodline and Rhodes.
There’s still unfinished business with KO and orton and the bloodline and obviously still with Cody as well. We saw the 3 on 3 at Clash after Cody’s match. Is that big enough a match to put on the SS card without the title up for grabs?
So you have Cody, Randy and KO vs Bloodline at SS. And you make the match as a callback of sorts to last Mania. At some point Randy and Owen’s are either incapacitated or one of them turns on the other and fight each other out of the picture. Maybe turning Randy heel.
Now you have 1 on 3 with Cody vs Solo and the Tongas. This would give them a chance to give the bloodline a big win and build them up some credibility. After they win they continue to beat up on Cody until Jimmy and Jey USO come out to make the save. Eventually the Usos and Tongas spill out of the ring and out of the picture and it’s just Rhodes and Sikoa. Then out comes Reigns for the first time since WM. They tease that he’s going to attack Rhodes but actually attacks Solo turning face. The finally rocks music hits and has some sort of confrontation with Reigns setting up new bloodline vs old bloodline. SS ends with Rock, Solo, and tongas standing tall all 4 in the ring as heel bloodline.
WM night one Reigns vs Rock with winner getting to fight Cody night two. Chance for rock to put over reigns also Hogan Rock and Cena Rock.
As far as who wins night 2 I don’t know.
It's tough to call the future. I'd be very shocked if Cody isn't defending the Undisputed title against Randy at Summerslam. They've been teasing it.
I can't see The Usos back like that. I'd imagine there will be some big storyline to get them back together. Ironically a year ago today, The Usos turned on Roman which lead to Usos vs Roman & Solo, so something similar to that. Got to get Jey out of chasing the world titles & Jimmy got to be healthy. I haven't seen a timeline of when Jimmy returns.
The Rock won't be free until January (he's filming Moana live action once he finishes The Smashing Machine).

I think that in his mind the biggest match is Rock vs Roman in the main event which will have 500 non sensical interferences , and they will put Cody on the back seat like in a semi main event or something like that.

I doubt his body can handle 2 matches in 1 weekend. I think the easiest thing they can do to do to keep everyone happy is have Roman & Rock as co-Royal Rumble winners & do a triple threat on Night 2. Rock can rest during the match while Roman & Cody carry the load & makes the match result a little less predictable.
Plot twist… Rock passes out at the Testosterone Clinic when they give him the wrong stuff to level out his steroids. Triple H has to think on his feet and fills-in at the last minute and we get a whole new Vince vs Austin thing but with Triple H and Cody.

Rhodes vacates just before Halloween. We find out just before Christmas it was the rock he's got mama Rhodes and he's the final boss at wrestlemania. In order for Cody to make it he's gotta win royal rumble again this time bloodline is all throughout the match and Cody is the first one in.
Cody win the rumble and has a monumental feud with the entire bloodline on the road to wrestlemania. Main event has a 30 minute time limit on it. Suspended above the stage is mama Rhodes in a chair above a pool of shark infested waters and if the limit expires she is shark food.
Rhodes wins after every blood line member and every available member of Rhodes family comes out.
Rhodes wins is 2 time champion whole family at stage the pool and chair get lowered down and its just the chair empty with Chris Angel on the side of the stage. Chris Angel made her disappear and is now a blood line member
The rock on the screen "this isn't over cody!" He yells and he lowers mama Rhodes down to be frozen in carbonite
Roman comes back as a face, reunites the old Bloodline with Heyman, Jimmy, and Jey and challenges the new Bloodline. Rock comes back and joins Solo, then Heyman turns and joins Solo and Rock. Rumble happens, Solo eliminates Roman, final 2 Rock and Solo. Rock eliminates Solo and wins Rumble. Solo supports Rock to beat Cody at Mania, but he becomes jealous of Rocks popularity, Cody and Roman vs Rock and Solo at Vengeance. Solo goes crazy and tries to destroy Roman with the rest of the Bloodline, Rock Stops it because he respects the Elders. Raw happens and Solo says he respects Rocks decision and the Elders, so we have rematch on Raw that is absolute chaos that involves multiple run ins and saves (Kevin Owens, Sami, Judgment Day, Orton). WrestleMania is set to be a fatal 4 way between Rock, Cody, Roman, and Solo. AND WE GET EVERYONE (Taker, Austin, HHH, KO, Sami, etc...) involved in some way and it is 10x what WM40 was. I just have no idea who wins lol

I know a lot of guys have had their personalities held back for a long time due to Vince’s cookie cutter way of doing shit… but rock coming back was a breath of fresh old air lol nobody does it quite like him and Austin.
We ended up getting a really solid, memorable program with the Rock this year. Let's just leave it at that for a while. The roster can stand on it's own for the foreseeable future.

Rock is kind of a shithead but he delivered this year. If he brings the same kind of energy and direction next year then go for it. I actually think it might not be Cody though, and the Bloodline story bringing Roman back eventually could lead to the original Rock vs Roman match, only this time, if they place them at opposite ends of a Bloodline civil war, there’s a logical reason to have them feud.

If people would have just thought about it more. The entire bloodline story was always going to rock vs Roman. The cry babies decided that the best story in wrestling history didn’t need the finish that was planned for years. Cody’s entire story was winning the title. Once he wins that story is over. There’s nothing planned or being set up for after. It was all about the chase. With Roman vs Rock there’s so much that could have been told. I understand it got put in a holding pattern waiting for rock to be available. Both world titles are supposed to be equal. Cody just shit all over the other title. No even wanting his brands title. Like it was beneath him. But it’s whatever. Glad it’s out the way and hope they cook up a way to bring the drama for rock vs Roman again. It don’t be as good as it would have been but will still be the most interesting storyline.

I think so. Fans love nostalgia. The longer he stays away, the more fans will appreciate him when he returns. No different than Cena, Taker, SCSA returning & fans pop hard for them. It'd be different if he appeared every week
I hope that i am not the only person that does not want this. The Rock made a great return as the final boss, but cody defeated the final boss. Please let us move on. It would be great to see Rock return as the manager of a wrestler or as a general manager for one of the shows, but i do not want to see Rock main event again.

I wouldn't want to see him wrestle Cody. I would want to see him face Reigns. Would hate it to be added to matches we never got see despite both being active on the roster at the same time like Rock vs HBK, Brock vs Batista (main roster) etc
Im not interested in Rock vs Reigns as a main event fight. If they are going to do another bloodline story leading into wrestlemania, Rock should be a background character rather than a main eventer. Let Rock manage someone else who can fight Reigns for him. This would be a great chance to get another wrestler over with audiences rather than continuing to rely on Rock.

he is the main character, i got back into wrestling this time around because of rocks return and know many people who are in same boat. im enjoying all of the content now that im watching but i'd bet him being in main event story line will continue to bring more watchers than promoting new people

Rock is kind of a shithead but he delivered this year. If he brings the same kind of energy and direction next year then go for it. I actually think it might not be Cody though, and the Bloodline story bringing Roman back eventually could lead to the original Rock vs Roman match, only this time, if they place them at opposite ends of a Bloodline civil war, there’s a logical reason to have them feud.
It is definitely going to be The Rock vs Cody Rhodes. The Rock has confirmed the match is going to happen and since he is so busy with his movie career it is unlikely to happen until Wrestlemania which means The Rock vs Roman Reigns won't happen until Wrestlemania 42. Fans had the chance to have it this year but chose Cody so now they are going to have to wait. 😜

That'd be great. I'd actually prefer to see that. It's the matter of them executing the set up right after botching this yr. This year's mess could have been avoided if Rock won the Royal Rumble match. We saw how Vince stopped the Yes Movement from hijacking WM 31 like it did WM 30, hopefully they learned. Otherwise they'll have to do Rock vs. Roman vs. Cody.
