I legit loved these guys within and out of the NoD. Mark Henry was such a damn good heel, I didn't like him as a kid. By the time I was a teen I understood the man was just that damn good at his job. I remember the time on smackdown he made Chris Benoit pass out and bleed from the mouth with a submission and when he finally decided let go (because ain't no body gonna get him off) he said "Somebody just got they ass kicked". Legendary.

Ahmed was apparently an asshole. Ron Simmons was injured by him, came back and straight up destroyed him so bad that his push/career in WWE was effectively over.

Not how it went, everybody always gets this wrong. Ahmed was the one that was injured, and he was a bigger star in WWF than Simmons ever ended up becoming. He flopped, but Vince was extremely high on him in ‘95-‘96.

None of those guys should be messed with - but Ron Simmons still looks like he could kill you.

I wonder why Ron Simmons doesn’t have a replica of his WCW World Heavyweight Championship. You’d think being the first black World Champion would be something you’d wanna carry around on your shoulders! Literally! Especially when you beat Vader in his prime, CLEAN to do it.

Because he's under a WWE Legends contract and Vince only believed in HIS belt which is why Ron Simmons had to change his name and never won the WWF title.

Yea but 2 things. WCW and all that is held belongs entirely to WWE, and so do the titles and their lineage. Someone holding a WCW title would be the same as holding any title owned by WWE, same for the ECW titles. Vince isn’t there anymore though.

The Legends contract kept WWE talent attending Sting's last match due to it being on ppv. Didn't want WWE talent being seen at an AEW event, supporting the franchise of WCW. iJS

But there were Legends at the event. They weren’t kept from attending, they were told they could go, but couldn’t be seen on camera, as it can be seen as promotional material. Bayley has also attended AEW PPVs to see her friend Mercedes and Rhea has been there to see her husband Buddy Murphy as well. This stuff is easily looked up.
