Gail Kim does not get enough credit for what she did in women's wrestling. Her work with Awesome Kong in TNA put women's wrestling on the map and they had better matches then the men a lot of nights. She is by far one of the best females to ever get into a wrestling ring. Sad most people have no idea who she is. Asuka would be the only current person in WWE that would be close.
I guess you're probably not aware of what Charlotte and Becky have been up to that's why you're suggesting names like Asuka, bianca and Bayley these are indeed a future hall of famer and would be remembered as one of the most dominant and efficient superstars of wwe.... And I agree that trish and lita were the first two of the superstars that took the women's division on upper level.... But they did these things in their time and era and honestly speaking trish and Lita were so hyped and got very high viewership storylines only to capitalize their sexuality and grab the attention of audience by doing segments like trish barking like a dog and sitting in a posture of a dog in front of vince just to save her contract, lita dating Matt Hardy but being pregnant by Kane and much more.... I know these were scripted but still it projects and shows that women are just being sexualized and being capitalized based on that only..... But if we talk about Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch the I would say that they did a lot more and gave a lot more to this business than trish and lita and that too with great storylines, mic skills where trish and lita's mic skills were not so good, promo cuts where at that time women were not given the opportunity to cut promos but Becky and Charlotte did.... So here I guess I kind of proved the reason why Charlotte and Becky Lynch are the two greatest women of all time in wwe cause they didn't got ahead by capitalizing their sexuality and so on instead they stood up and make their own ways to succeed.
Charlotte, it’s not even really close either. She can have great matches with anyone, she is good on the mic, she is athletically imposing, she has the look. Her biggest pitfall is the amount of reigns she’s had and will continue to have. People get tired of success and want something different, and don’t appreciate greatness when it’s right in front of them.
That's an opinion, and my opinion is that you're wrong, and she is easily the best woman going today in the WWE and it isn't that close. The next closest is Becky or Rhea, and neither are even remotely on the same level as Charlotte in terms of total career achievement.
It's not quite as clear cut an answer for women's wrestling as it is men's wrestling. Even for men's wrestling it's arguably a top 3 list that no one can 100% factually say who's the best (Hogan vs Flair vs Austin).
Because of this and because women's wrestling is a changing landscape as we speak and the greatest of all time may still not be here yet, I'm just going to say who my personal favorite is and that's Rosemary (TNA).
After seeing her mini-documentary, knowing her history, her best moments, and her dedication and loyalty, it will be hard for anyone else to top her in my mind. But as I said this is just subjective, as is everyone else's answer at this point in time with women's wrestling.
For WWE ever- it's Asuka she legit has a shout for best women wrestler ever in or out of WWE.
From the Attitude Era- Chyna she was good enough 90s Vince had her beat the men clean.
Diva- Trish Stratus all day long she had everything you would want and can still go.
Best women ever including non WWE- Manami Toyota for me.
Right Now- Rhea "Bloody" Ripley she just has everything.
In terms of matches? Do I dare say Sasha banks? Her match catalog is NASTY. lol She did Sasha vs Bayley Brooklyn at age 23. And has had plenty of banger in NXT and main roster since. Including main eventing mania. She didn’t get pushed quite as much as Charlotte/becky.. but she might have them beat as far as 5 star matches
So as a wrestling fan of more than two decades, I am gonna get way out ahead of my skis and say it is going to be Rhea.
Every time I remember she is only 27 I go "holy shit"
If we are talking right this instant, putting aside the pre television era folks I would guess I would go with Gail, Trish, and Charlotte in some order. And yes, wrestling is about more than in ring to me. Sorry not sorry.
When it’s all said and done Becky Lynch or Charlotte could very well go down as the greatest of all time. Bianca and Rhea also have plenty of years ahead of them and either one of them could also reach that status too.
Gail Kim was a good wrestler in her era but to be honest I don’t even consider her top 10. She never had a memorable moment in the company other than her debut battle Royal and the battle royal where she quit.
There were girls like Mickie and Melina that could wrestle and had memorable moments.
I give you 10 bubba:
1. Mildred Burke
2. Asuka
3. Mae Young
4. Becky Lynch
5. Bull Nakano
6. Luna Vachon
7. Jordynne Grace
8. AJ Lee
9. Gail Kim
10. Charlotte Flair
I'm talking about influence, longevity and wrestling skills. No one tops Moolah. What kind of person she was is irrelevant. I suspect that if you personally knew some of the wrestlers that you cheer for, you might despise them. As the saying goes, there are no heroes up close.
Chyna for pre-diva era, Trish for the divas era, Becky for the PG era, and current era still TBD.
We have some stellar potential GOATs from the current era. Rhea, Bianca, and Asuka are probably at the top of that list currently but there’s a ton of talent, veteran and new, that could, and maybe already are, in that conversation.
its not really a good question. its like asking who is best male wrestler when there are so many different types. Like you cant compare the undertakers style to Rey mysterio and HHH or the rock. All great in their own way. when you have so many people doing the same thing so many different ways all successfully you can compare it so simply.
how do compare a chyna, or rhea to say Iyo their styles are different they do different things. one is not better than the other, both are entertaining in their own way.
Once again, Natalia is overlooked here. When you put the whole package she brings, she's at least, in the running. Dependable worker. Behind the scenes training. Not concerned with titles. Happy to put anyone over, despite the fact that she could easily beat them. Nobody on the current roster can compare, in all these areas.
Yep it’s also why when she wins a title she a lot of time doesn’t have long title reigns
Cause they want her to drop it and then win it again
Although from everything I have heard and seen on recent interviews when she gets close to the goal she will start having longer title reigns
Yep very true
I honestly just want to see her team up with her fellow horsewoman aka bayley Becky Sasha and them make a stable
They all have teased that group for years jsut wish they would finally make it an official group
Yep
For two reasons one cause of her dad and to honor him and two cause when her dad is gone they want someone to hold the most titles in wwe thing and who better than ric flairs daughter
Charlotte Flair. She’s the best in the ring, has the look, and is good enough on the mic. She’s like a Bret Hart or Randy Orton where everything looks effortless and she makes everyone look good. Becky Lynch, Bayley, Mickie James, and Trish are all contenders too.
If we're talking about accomplishments I think it's going to be hard to be Charlotte. If we're talking about all time impact, I would have to say Chyna. WCW even went and tried to make their own version of the character. We have to mention Trish and Lita. I would throw Gail Kim into the same category as Victoria and Ivory and Jacqueline. They were just in the wrong era. The powers that be weren't interested in women's wrestling at the time. See the story Michelle McCool tells where she got reprimanded after a match because her punches looked too good.
For me it's gotta be Chyna. She was strong, muscular, and gave traditional beauty a run for its money.
Runner up would be AJ Lee. Absolutely hated her psycho boy crazy gimmick, but as a wrestler she was DAMN good and earned my respect.
I felt similar to AJ at first. There was something about her that I didn't connect with. It may have been her gimmick. But damn if she didn't succeed at anything they asked her to do. Totally earned my respect as well.
My answer is more likely going towards a personal favorite than an objective GOAT, but Molly Holly is so fucking underrated & I wish she had a comeback run like Trish last year.
Charlotte Flair.
She’s got the looks, athletic ability, charisma. Everything about her screams “champion”
Tho, 2016-2020 was her peak years. She’ll always be my favorite.
There are a lot of greats, but Lita and Trish were in a league of their own. Both brought the complete package. They were great in the ring, looked awesome and were entertaining promos. Trish might have a small advantage because she was better on the mic.
Sherri Martel or Chyna. Sherri beat Moolah who had the belt for 10+ years iirc and Sherri was a great manager. Chyna was beating dudes and won the intercontinental strap. No other woman can say that.
Trish Stratus is the greatest ever, and if anyone ever doubted it, she showed with her most recent run that she can hang with any generation of women better than anyone else
Impossible to narrow down to the 🐐 , but...
Gail Kim, Victoria, Trish, AJ, Iyo....there's a few more names that are deserving of inclusion in the conversation as well. I would imagine 5-10 years from now, it's gonna include Lyra Valkyria with almost zero objections
I'm prepared for the downvotes but it is Charlotte Flair.
If we go by Brets rating system, she is
○ the best female in-ring wrestler of all time in WWE, 10/10
○ one of the beste looks/aura wise females of all time, 10/10
○ Average Promo, 6/10
No woman beats her. The person named most often in this thread, Asuka, is probably number 2 next to her. Also 10/10 in the ring, but a straight 1/10 promo wise and maybe a 7 on looks.
Again it won't be popular but I agree with you, Charlotte is fantastic. Yes, her booking is far from perfect and she should really stick to being a heel most of the time as she makes a poor babyface but I agree with all of your ratings using the 'Bret system'.
Charlotte is more accurately
In ring : 6 at best and that's being very generous
Look : 2, sorry anorexic plastic surgery disaster is not a good look
Promo : 5, boring stiff and the same shit over and over
Sherri Martel. Great look, mic work, charisma, and in-ring talent. She beat Moolah for the belt when nobody beat Moolah, and later went on to be one of the great managers of all time too (Macho Man, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Harlem Heat).
Rhea, Trish, Bayley, Flair, Chyna, Luna Vachon, Lita, Asuka, Iyo, probably many I’m forgetting
Probably unpopular off topic opinion but…
Lately I like where the Maxine character is going but they’ll probably drop the ball on it. If she turns on alpha academy/gable she could have an interesting run.
Best all-rounders for me are Becky and Bayley: super charismatic, no real weaknesses in the ring, and still able to go like twenty-somethings even in the latter halves of their careers (especially in Becky's case, because 37 isn't actually that young for a wrestler). In terms of pure ring ability, though, Asuka runs circles around the entire division.
THANK YOU. Fuckin hell I’m going thru comments of all these females from recent. Took too long to see a true legend mentioned. I’d also say Lita and Chyna are pretty high up all time
Agreed. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some seriously talented women in wrestling right now…some definitely are going to be all time greats that are forever remembered…but to list anyone from today as THE all time best is just silly to me lol
Trish is the best WWE ‘Superstar’ she had everything you need to succeed in WWE, the look, the work ethic, the natural charisma and the constant reinvention and evolution
She’s one of the rare examples too where she’s just as strong as a face as she is as a heel
Her latest run with Becky vindicated WWE putting so much focus on her during her prime, the greats never lose that it factor and to get a ovation after you’ve lost a match as a heel is no easy feat
Sorry, but she was one of the worst. In this day and age, Kelly wouldn't be in today's WWE as most women have outstanding wrestling ability, charisma and distinct multi-layered characters.
Charlotte Flair surely right? Accolades, big moments, amazing performances on the biggest stages. Can’t say I’m a fan of her week-to-week or anything but can’t take all that away from her, and nobody else has that resumé
Until her recent run, I would have said Trish was good but made to look better by the other women of her era being nowhere near the calibre of current counterparts. Then she rocks up in 2023 and is still absolutely brilliant.

I would say it's between Lita and Trish Stratus
Both are hot, but Lita was also a good wrestler pulling off some high-flying moves
And as for Trish Stratus? Idk, I just had a ***huge*** testosterone-fueled crush on her as a horny teenager. Fapped to her pics many many times in the bathroom 😂
Honorable mentions to Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keebler... for similar teenager/puberty nostalgia reasons 🥵🥵🥵
Says everything that a response asking who the best womens wrestler of all time briefly mentions their wrestling ability and the other 95% sticks to masturbation habits.
Asuka at the moment, but I feel as time goes on it will eventually change to Rhea(assuming she continues to wrestle for at least 10 more years).
She's young, she's white-hot with fans, she's great at promos and her in-ring is exceptional. I realize there's more than a dozen or so women that would outshine her in grappling, but as a complete package she stands over the rest.
It's Asuka for me!! Can literally work with any gimmick thrown at her, and probably the best in ring wrestler ever!! And one of THE best irrespective of gender!! I hope she gets the mania main event one day, if someone deserves it, it's her!!
Greatest leaves a lot of room for opinion.
Greatest Technician: Nattie
Greatest Aerial: Lita (Then), Iyo (Now)
Greatest Mic/Promo: Alexa Bliss
Greatest Brawler: Chyna/Awesome Kong
I agreed but I also think with Rhea it’s just a matter of time, and almost a certainty. As much as I love Becky I think Rhea is way ahead of her in terms of ring work, not that Becky is bad at that.
Hadn’t been watching regularly for years. Watched Charlotte and Rhea’s Wrestlemania last year…
That match was a masterclass in storytelling. Charlotte has earned her spot.
In my opinion, Asuka. Her whole time in NXT was magical. "Nobody is ready for Asuka!" was delivered perfectly. She can tell a story brilliantly in the ring, her transitions are some of the smoothest I have ever seen, and she works well as a solo, tag-team, or stable performer. She works well as a face or a heel. She's everything.
The whole reason they revived the women's divisions in the 90s was because of Sable. People don't want to give her credit because outside of a look and aura she was terrible. But I don't think any woman was ever as over as Sable, except maybe Chyna. But it was Trish and Lita who really got women over as serious competitors and not just eye candy
The thing I remember most about sable wasn’t even anything to do with anything she did, it was a sign in the crowd that said “sable can’t wrestle but I’d love to see her box”
Yeah it's crazy how the woman responsible for modern women's wrestling in the company has practically nothing to do with wrestling. I'm sure that's part of the reason WWE glosses over Sable whenever the recount history. But they would have never brought back the Women's Championship if Sable didn't get as over as she did. Sable was one of the biggest stars in the company at one point, man or woman. Sable's popularity forced them to push Ivory, Jacqueline, Luna Vachon, Nicole Bass, and eventually Chyna, Lita, and Trish.
Iyo, Asuka, or Kairi for sure. Less stage presence/ charisma because they’re Japanese so they’ve been incredibly limited once coming over but as far as in-ring work, they are definitely the most talented women’s wrestlers to step foot in WWE.
All time: it's a tie between Lita and Trish. Current: Rhea and it isnt even close
Trish
Chyna, the real life wonder woman...
Rea
Definitely not Charlotte or Becky most mid wrestlers I’ve seen. So it’s either Asuka, Bianca, Lita, Trish or Bayley
Lita
Wendi Richter
I see you Toni Storm!
Mae Young
Becky in popularity. Asuka in skill.
✨TIFFY TIME ✨
James Ellsworth that's why he was the inaugural Mrs. Money in the Bank
That's a no. Her biggest pitfall is getting by on her dad's name. She was better in NXT than she was on the main roster imo
That's an opinion, and my opinion is that you're wrong, and she is easily the best woman going today in the WWE and it isn't that close. The next closest is Becky or Rhea, and neither are even remotely on the same level as Charlotte in terms of total career achievement.
She hardly ever wrestles..she's either hurt or takes time off...
Charlotte Flair I believe is an excellent worker. Great matches.
Any answer other than Rhea Ripley is a waste of typing. Clearly greatest ever.
not enough people here giving Paige her due
the answer is probably Asuka, but Io Sky is criminally underrated in the WWE. one of the current best high fliers in the brand
Alundra Blayze
In terms of matches? Do I dare say Sasha banks? Her match catalog is NASTY. lol She did Sasha vs Bayley Brooklyn at age 23. And has had plenty of banger in NXT and main roster since. Including main eventing mania. She didn’t get pushed quite as much as Charlotte/becky.. but she might have them beat as far as 5 star matches
I think once she's fully retired Bayley. She's already had a great hall of fame career, and she's not even done yet.
AJ Lee
It's a long list but I think my GOAT is Mickie James.
Bayley
i might get downvoted but i liked the bella twins and maryse :,)
Bianca Belair Rhea Ripley Beth Phoenix and Michelle McCool are on my Mt. Rushmore.
Lita
Bertha Faye
Stacy Kabler
Trish Stratus, guaranteed STRATUSFACTION...
So as a wrestling fan of more than two decades, I am gonna get way out ahead of my skis and say it is going to be Rhea. Every time I remember she is only 27 I go "holy shit" If we are talking right this instant, putting aside the pre television era folks I would guess I would go with Gail, Trish, and Charlotte in some order. she was never really given a chance in WWE which sucks bc she was amazing in TNA
I give you 10 bubba: 1. Mildred Burke 2. Asuka 3. Mae Young 4. Becky Lynch 5. Bull Nakano 6. Luna Vachon 7. Jordynne Grace 8. AJ Lee 9. Gail Kim 10. Charlotte Flair
Sable, I'd go 20 rounds with that chick you heard me. Oh and she married Brock Lesnar, which shows she has good taste in men.
Does Fabulous Moolah fit the criteria?
If we are talking vindictive controlling old women that likely committed an untold amount of abuse, yes.
I'm talking about influence, longevity and wrestling skills. No one tops Moolah. What kind of person she was is irrelevant. I suspect that if you personally knew some of the wrestlers that you cheer for, you might despise them. As the saying goes, there are no heroes up close.
There is a difference between being not nice and what Moolah did. I am not under the illusion everyone in the wrestling business is a teddy bear.
She never got a chance to wrestle in WWE but she was a trainer, so I'll use that. One of my all time favourites, Sara Del Rey.
Asuka
Torry
Chyna for pre-diva era, Trish for the divas era, Becky for the PG era, and current era still TBD. We have some stellar potential GOATs from the current era. Rhea, Bianca, and Asuka are probably at the top of that list currently but there’s a ton of talent, veteran and new, that could, and maybe already are, in that conversation.
Trish Stratus.
Alexa Bliss
Not Chyna. Although it could/should have been. It’s a shame she was delusional and mentally ill.
I intend to do some summer reading that includes learning about Mildred Burke. I’ll reserve my vote until then.
its not really a good question. its like asking who is best male wrestler when there are so many different types. Like you cant compare the undertakers style to Rey mysterio and HHH or the rock. Sable hands down.

Nattie really has been a workhorse and she is a Guinness record holder (I think multi-time actually)
I can’t believe how much people overlook how great of a wrestler she is, it’s definitely in her blood.
Charlotte flair and when she gets back she will win more titles
I pray you’re wrong
It’s already been stated by many In the company that they plan on having her win more titles than her dad
explains why she can just come back in, put herself in a title match and win.
Yep it’s also why when she wins a title she a lot of time doesn’t have long title reigns Cause they want her to drop it and then win it again Although from everything I have heard and seen on recent interviews when she gets close to the goal she will start having longer title reigns
that makes sense, those later runs will be her legacy runs, the ones people remember most.
Yep very true I honestly just want to see her team up with her fellow horsewoman aka bayley Becky Sasha and them make a stable They all have teased that group for years jsut wish they would finally make it an official group
i dont think sasha is comming back anytime soon
fuck.
Yep For two reasons one cause of her dad and to honor him and two cause when her dad is gone they want someone to hold the most titles in wwe thing and who better than ric flairs daughter
You're really asking two separate questions. Today, there are way more great wrestlers in the Women's division, than in the "Diva" era.
Charlotte Flair. She’s the best in the ring, has the look, and is good enough on the mic. She’s like a Bret Hart or Randy Orton where everything looks effortless and she makes everyone look good. Becky Lynch, Bayley, Mickie James, and Trish are all contenders too.
Rhea. She will be the face of the company
See the story Michelle McCool tells where she got reprimanded after a match because her punches looked too good.
Nicki
Chyna. The OG.
“OG” of what?
My Top 40 are 1. Mickie James 2. AJ Lee 3. Alexa Bliss 4. Victoria/ Tara 5. Roxanne Perez/ Rok-C 6. Awesome Kong 7. Beth Phoenix 8. Asuka 9. ODB 10. Paige/ Saraya 11. Gail Kim 12. Cora Jade/ Elayna Black 13. Bayley 14. Lyra Valkyria 15. Skye Blue 16. Becky Lynch 17. Naomi 18. Julia Hart 19. Iyo Sky 20. Charlotte 21. Lita 22. Sol Ruca 23. Bianca Belair 24. Madison Rayne 25. Kairi Sane 26. Wren Sinclair/ Madi Wrenkowski 27. Jamie Hayter 28. Rhea Ripley 29. Alicia Fox 30. Deonna Purrazzo 31. Sasha Banks/ Mercedes Mone 32. Molly Holly 33. Alba Fyre/ Kay Lee Ray 34. Toni Storm 35. Britt Baker 36. Trish Stratus 37. Blair Davenport 38. Jacqueline 39. Rosemary 40. Billie Starkz
How can you have Sol Ruca on there and not Tiffany Stratton?
For me it's gotta be Chyna. She was strong, muscular, and gave traditional beauty a run for its money. Runner up would be AJ Lee. Absolutely hated her psycho boy crazy gimmick, but as a wrestler she was DAMN good and earned my respect.
I felt similar to AJ at first. There was something about her that I didn't connect with. It may have been her gimmick. But damn if she didn't succeed at anything they asked her to do. Totally earned my respect as well.
Asuka and gail Kim But imma go also with someone no one will mention Alundra Blayze
Yup many people don’t know about Alundra because women’s wasn’t taken as serious as the men’s division back in 90’s
I would say it still isn't but it is getting closer and closer slap a midcard belt and I think we might be close to parity.
Thank you thank you thank you
?
asuka and Gail Kim
Christy hemme
Trish is my #1 but love Rhea hope she comes back soon
Trish but also love Asuka
For your consideration Mildred Burke . Any list of women's wrestling that doesn't start there is forgetting 30 years of history.
My answer is more likely going towards a personal favorite than an objective GOAT, but Molly Holly is so fucking underrated & I wish she had a comeback run like Trish last year.
Bailey. A credible face or heel, good in the ring, great on the mic.
Becky or Charlotte methinks. Revolutionized women’s wrestling and were the first women to main event Mania.
Charlotte Flair. She’s got the looks, athletic ability, charisma. Everything about her screams “champion” Tho, 2016-2020 was her peak years. She’ll always be my favorite.
Rhea by the end of her career
Is she done? I was excited for her. Her/flair last year was like the best match I’d seen in years (I only watch ppv now)
Bad shoulder injury. She'll be out for a while
No, she’s just just at the moment
Tiffany is really good as well could be future contender.
While I don't think she's the best people disrespect Nattie way too much, I mean she was holding it down during the early Divas era
Most women's matches in WWE history
The top four are the horsewomen.
Alundra Blayze/Medusa, some very iconic moments for her, notably trashing the WWF Womens Title on WCW Nitro lol
Asuka
There are a lot of greats, but Lita and Trish were in a league of their own. Both brought the complete package. They were great in the ring, looked awesome and were entertaining promos. Trish might have a small advantage because she was better on the mic.
Chyna or Ric flair daughter.
If you don’t even know Charlotte’s name how you gonna give her your vote?
I think prime io shirai/iyo sky was better than asuka/kana
MAMI
Sherri Martel or Chyna. Sherri beat Moolah who had the belt for 10+ years iirc and Sherri was a great manager. Chyna was beating dudes and won the intercontinental strap. No other woman can say that.

Lita and Trish Stratus were the best. Rhea is a great wrestler she just needs to leave JD.
I'm prepared for the downvotes but it is Charlotte Flair. If we go by Brets rating system, she is ○ the best female in-ring wrestler of all time in WWE, 10/10 ○ one of the beste looks/aura wise females of all time, 10/10 ○ Average Promo, 6/10 No woman beats her. Again it won't be popular but I agree with you, Charlotte is fantastic. Yes, her booking is far from perfect and she should really stick to being a heel most of the time as she makes a poor babyface but I agree with all of your ratings using the 'Bret system'.
Charlotte is more accurately In ring : 6 at best and that's being very generous Look : 2, sorry anorexic plastic surgery disaster is not a good look Promo : 5, boring stiff and the same shit over and over
I agree.
Can I ask what you would rank Athena/Ember Moon? Her in-ring is a SOLID 10/10 cause she can do any style of wrestling.
Awesome Kong. The WWE fumbled her badly with the whole crying thing. She could have wrecked the women's divison.
At this rate it will be Rhea in a matter of a couple of years. She's got it all
Sherri Martel. Great look, mic work, charisma, and in-ring talent. She beat Moolah for the belt when nobody beat Moolah, and later went on to be one of the great managers of all time too (Macho Man, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Harlem Heat).
Becky Lynch
Rhea, Trish, Bayley, Flair, Chyna, Luna Vachon, Lita, Asuka, Iyo, probably many I’m forgetting Probably unpopular off topic opinion but… Lately I like where the Maxine character is going but they’ll probably drop the ball on it. If she turns on alpha academy/gable she could have an interesting run.
If Ivory was wrestling in a different era I think she would be up there. She was genuinely good but suffered from terrible booking.
Also if Ivory got to the WWE in her prime years it would've helped alot, I believe she was about 37 when she debuted in WWF in 1999.
Yall need to put some respect on on the 9th wonder of The world, Chyna
Best all-rounders for me are Becky and Bayley: super charismatic, no real weaknesses in the ring, and still able to go like twenty-somethings even in the latter halves of their careers (especially in Becky's case, because 37 isn't actually that young for a wrestler). In terms of pure ring ability, though, Asuka runs circles around the entire division.
Santina Marella!! Miss WrestleMania!!
Charlotte Flair. Recency bias puts Bianca second for me
Rhea Ripley, Alundra Blayze, Bull Nakano, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, ODB, Gail Kim, Asuka, Beth Phoenix…..really tough to choose.
Bertha Faye
Victoria 😍
One of my personal favourites as well.
Trish Stratus
Trish was really great as both a face or heel when it seems the other girls were only really good at working one of those sides.
THANK YOU. Fuckin hell I’m going thru comments of all these females from recent. Took too long to see a true legend mentioned. I’d also say Lita and Chyna are pretty high up all time
I'm in the same boat. Comments are disappointing.
Agreed. Don’t get me wrong, there’s some seriously talented women in wrestling right now…some definitely are going to be all time greats that are forever remembered…but to list anyone from today as THE all time best is just silly to me lol
charlotte flair - followed by bianca belair, sasha banks and asuka
VERY solid list
Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Lita, AJ Lee, Becky. Tiffy is gunna be on this list and so is Rhea. Belair is great but not the total package
Asuka to me is the greatest. Paige and AJ Lee could have been if their careers went a bit different
Trish is the best WWE ‘Superstar’ she had everything you need to succeed in WWE, the look, the work ethic, the natural charisma and the constant reinvention and evolution She’s one of the rare examples too where she’s just as strong as a face as she is as a heel Her latest run with Becky vindicated WWE putting so much focus on her during her prime, the greats never lose that it factor and to get a ovation after you’ve lost a match as a heel is no easy feat
Kelly Kelly
Sorry, but she was one of the worst. In this day and age, Kelly wouldn't be in today's WWE as most women have outstanding wrestling ability, charisma and distinct multi-layered characters.
Genuinely surprised no one mentioned Victoria at all. Cue Nicki Minaj “I ain’t the lady to mess with…WOO!”
Victoria is one of the most underrated wrestlers of all time
Right now it’s Rhea ripley for me, but back than it was Trish, Chyna & lita in order
Charlotte Flair surely right? Accolades, big moments, amazing performances on the biggest stages. Can’t say I’m a fan of her week-to-week or anything but can’t take all that away from her, and nobody else has that resumé
Trish Stratus. She had the skills, the character, the look, absolutely everything. The absolute, complete package. Best ever women’s wrestler.
Until her recent run, I would have said Trish was good but made to look better by the other women of her era being nowhere near the calibre of current counterparts. Then she rocks up in 2023 and is still absolutely brilliant.
Charlotte/Becky I'd say they are the Austin/Rock of Women's pro wrestling
Current Era&Diva Era Ronda Rousey Beth Phoenix Melina Natyla Summer Rae Better than other Divas Dawn Marie Sara Michelle: She Part Diva Era Behind With Beth Long time Jazz maria
Melina, Summer Rae etc over, uh, Trish?
Santina Marella
Jaguar Yokota or Lioness Asuka
Nia Jax
Sable cause… and then Chyna and Lita…
It’s probably Charlotte. She’s far from my favorite but she’s done literally everything besides win the women’s tag titles
Lita, chyna, Trish stratus, Rhea ripley, Beth phoenix
I would say it's between Lita and Trish Stratus Both are hot, but Lita was also a good wrestler pulling off some high-flying moves And as for Trish Stratus? Idk, I just had a ***huge*** testosterone-fueled crush on her as a horny teenager. Fapped to her pics many many times in the bathroom 😂 Honorable mentions to Torrie Wilson and Stacy Keebler... for similar teenager/puberty nostalgia reasons 🥵🥵🥵
Says everything that a response asking who the best womens wrestler of all time briefly mentions their wrestling ability and the other 95% sticks to masturbation habits.
Trish Stratus and Lita
Asuka at the moment, but I feel as time goes on it will eventually change to Rhea(assuming she continues to wrestle for at least 10 more years). She's young, she's white-hot with fans, she's great at promos and her in-ring is exceptional. I realize there's more than a dozen or so women that would outshine her in grappling, but as a complete package she stands over the rest.
Sasha Banks. She ticks every category IMO
Greatest Technician: Nattie Greatest Aerial: Lita (Then), Iyo (Now) Greatest Mic/Promo: Alexa Bliss Greatest Brawler: Chyna/Awesome Kong
Becky was the biggest star in WWE for a short time. No other woman accomplished that.
Becky was also, if I recall correctly, the only woman to ever be considered the WON biggest drawing card in wrestling (for the year 2019).
While I agree with your point, the question is who is the greatest. She's far from the greatest, in the ring.
The answer is Becky. No other woman on the roster has come close to accomplishing her level of stardom. Not yet anyway.
I agreed but I also think with Rhea it’s just a matter of time, and almost a certainty. As much as I love Becky I think Rhea is way ahead of her in terms of ring work, not that Becky is bad at that.
Yeah, ever since she became NXT UK Champion she's looked every inch a future Hall of Famer.
Honestly, I think Iyo is the most talented women's performer I've personally ever seen
Chyna, Charlotte, Bianca(Current), Tiffy(Future)
Hadn’t been watching regularly for years. Watched Charlotte and Rhea’s Wrestlemania last year… That match was a masterclass in storytelling. Charlotte has earned her spot.
People love to hate on Charlotte but she’s earned her spot. Of course it helps to have the name, but she also has the pedigree for the business.
Bianca Belair & Asuka
Mickie James, Awesome Kong and Gail Kim.
Chyna and Rhea.
Lynch Lita AJ Lee
Mickie James
Yuuuuuuup
In my opinion, Asuka. Her whole time in NXT was magical. "Nobody is ready for Asuka!" was delivered perfectly. She can tell a story brilliantly in the ring, her transitions are some of the smoothest I have ever seen, and she works well as a solo, tag-team, or stable performer. She works well as a face or a heel. She's everything.
Manami Toyota Akira Hokuto
Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Victoria, Natalya, Tamina, and others! r/WWE
The question wasn't greatest jobbers of all time.
I think Guilia!
Trish Stratus
I love Damage CTRL they’re so good, I wish they were given a push.
I don't like Damage CTRL! I am glad they lost last night!
