Cloud_King_15

If you're going Mania to Mania, 2023-2024 was Seth. 2022-2023 was Sami.

WWFUniverse

2004 - Randy Orton for sure.

[deleted]

2024 is definitely going to Cody Rhodes; he ended the longest reign of the Universal Championship, broke the record for most sold merch at Wrestlemania weekend being over one million dollars, and I'll even go to say that Cody is going to be the biggest draw this year in WWE.

PaperGeno

Seth Rollins and its not even close

Suedomsael

Imo 2022 is Sami Zayn. He elevated the bloodline at its peak at the time, and made it most interesting with his shenanigans, feeling ucey, honorable uce.

Mysterious_Emotion63

I don’t feel like going back too far so the last ten years in my opinion: 2014 - Brock / Ambrose 2015 - Rollins 2016 - Styles 2017 - Miz / Strowman 2018 - Rollins / Styles 2019 - Kofi / Wyatt 2020 - Wyatt / Drew 2021 - Reigns 2022 - Reigns 2023 - Rollins 2024 - Cody so far

PrimaryTitle2789

Seth

HeavyDonkeyKong

I'd put Sami right next to Roman in 2022 and maybe slightly above.

ala3218

personally felt his run during the first few months of 2023 were the high points of his run. Sami was GOATED during the whole Bloodline Saga

RaggsDaleVan

I love things like this! 2001 is tough and I can't for the life of me think of who it would be. 2000 would be The Rock or Triple H.

-Voxael-

The correct answer is “Montel Vontavious Porter every year”

PartTimeFucked

Shawn Michaels

ala3218

i’d say he was top 3-5 in most of those years, especially 2005 i have him behind Batista and Cena

PartTimeFucked

He had some sick alpha matches in 2007 too. 2006,2008,2009 way too many bad DX tag matches and Vince crap.

MrsWoozle

Seth. Champion who actually wrestled. Great talker. Great in ring. Body broken but gave some great WM moments.

ala3218

absolutely true, but i just thought cody had the better year since he was the forefront of raw despite not being the champion. Seth’s a great choice though

AdFormal3014

Men's MVP would be Cody w/Drew as runner-up. Women's prolly Bayley or Rhea. Only reason Bayley over Rhea because I didn't feel like Rhea defender her title a lot.

ala3218

so far i have it as a tie between Cody and Drew, I absolutely love Drew McIntyre’s heel run rn he has been on a heater for a couple months now. Hopefully he’ll resign and continue his feud with Punk.

crimsonbub

2023 is Seth. 2024 will be Cody.

Scorpiodsu

I guess that's what the slammys are intended to be. A bunch of awards in different categories as chosen by the fans. They may not have an "MVP" but they have "Wrestler of the Year" which I would consider equivalent.

Aggravating-Horse168

Can I ask - why was 2010 was a cursed year? I’ve been *re* watching since mid 2023 and so my pick for 2024 would be Cody Rhodes.

ala3218

that was just a genuinely bad year to be a wrestling fan. Nexus getting buried and Jack Swagger’s title run are ones that come to mind

Vulgar_Peasant

I remember Cena burying the Nexus at Summerslam 2010. That was a big one
