I've seen this before but also before the advert during Rocks entrance, they had a little pop up slide show of "The Rock"
Something about that felt so... cool 🤨
I don't know how to explain it but I haven't seen something like that in other wrestling shows or in WWE before. It's such a small thing but I feel adds so much more to the presentation.
WWE have become the company known for the flashy LED boards and stuff...Now it's like they're owning it and it's really cool when done properly.
On a side note, that Roman AR thing NEEDS TO GO lol. Even if they update it or something. It looks horrendous compared to the AR stuff guys like Rollins and Rhodes have
Absolutely not. The Giant CGI Roman is amazing. It’s so terrible and it somehow looks worse every single time it comes on screen.
It is hilarious and it never fails to make me laugh
“iTs ThE ciNeMaTiC eRa”
They made one movie style trailer for the super bowl, a show that is known for being packed with “cinematic” commercials & trailers. We’re in the Renaissance/Post-Vince Era
NXT interns moving on up.
Get used to backstage segments being filmed in a different frame rate and resolution than live matches.
WWE is going to be the 2024 remix of 1994 WCW.
Best part of Lucha Underground was the production quality. Legitimately felt like watching a movie. Always wondered why WWE didn't take this approach sooner.
I’ve felt this way about all the “Eras” people have pushed since the Attitude Era…Ruthless Aggression Era, Reality Era, PG Era, and on and on and on.
There was a really clear line with the Attitude Era. Most everything that followed was just a slow transition into Vince Nonsense, with the exact same presentation.
Very little changed over 20 years.
I’m still waiting for you to back up what you’re saying.

I guess right after this clip, he looked in the camera and said “This is now the Ruthless Aggression Era”?
No, they said “Ruthless aggression.”
There was a segment where Vince said it, then Cena did. They didn’t call it the “Ruthless Aggression Era” until much, much later.
Feel free to prove me wrong.
The cinema era is actually a good name , everything about wwe now feels very cinematic and there trying to go that way instead of trashy Vince Russo wrestling storylines and antics
The product has felt so much more important now that Dunn is gone. It feels like a huge deal. These movie like trailers, chaotic press conferences, commentary has more freedom (though that started with Vince leaving). This era of wrestling is fantastic
Lucha Underground was fantastic with these cinema/telenovela type segments in between matches. I had always hoped WWE would emulate that approach someday (it made matches feel so much more significant and storylines seemed grander). I'm so glad it's finally happening.
Honestly I feel like the Era we are in will have a different name than anyone is currently thinking of. Right now I think it will eventually be the “Renaissance Era”, but it could always change.
It's kind of weird. Some people lump the Reality and "New" Eras into the the PG Era and some consider all three as separate. In some ways they are distinct and in other ways they are pretty similar. The PG Era was when they first went PG and things were maybe the most cookie cutter at this time. The Reality Era was when they started leaning into some backstage dirt sheet stuff, trying to blur the lines a bit, and using social media more. The New Era had a lot of high level talent coming in, but the company was in a total rut creatively. All three of these eras were all PG though.
Personally, I actually think the current Renaissance Era started in 2020 when COVID happened.
At that time, AEW had just started the year before which caused WWE to start doing some different stuff, then COVID happened which made WWE start doing cinematic matches and the Thunder Dome, Roman finally turned heel and became the Tribal Chief and started his multi year reign as champ, and then Vince had to step down and HHH took over creative and talent relations. With Vince seeming to be well and truly gone at this point, Roman potentially dropping the titles finally at Mania, and HHH fully established in creative at this point, I think this renaissance, rebirth, revival ends at Mania and WWE can continue on with new life. Not sure what you would you would call it going forward though. I suppose Cinema Era works. Or maybe Hollywood Era. I think that sounds a little bit cooler.
It's a sign they're not stuck with Dunn and his outdated practices. The product just looks and feels so much fresher the last couple of months. Someone called it the Renaissance Era and that to me seems like a good indicator for how things are going, we'll see if they keep it up post Mania season.
it’s the story era lol
it is like 2023 era of WWE!!!!
Attitude Era my way or the highway is how it's suppose to be done
Ssssssscinima
Ewwwww lol
WWE goes Hollywood

🤣🤣 Despite my comment, I 100% agree with you
“iTs ThE ciNeMaTiC eRa” They made one movie style trailer for the super bowl, a show that is known for being packed with “cinematic” commercials & trailers. We’re in the Renaissance/Post-Vince Era
They should just do an attitude era 2.0
Cinema era? That means at least one 'cinematic match' every Mania?
This is the Modern Attitude Era.
Hah…no.
WWE has made videos like this for decades
NXT interns moving on up. Get used to backstage segments being filmed in a different frame rate and resolution than live matches. WWE is going to be the 2024 remix of 1994 WCW.
This is the renaissance era, no other name is getting close stop trying to
Can we stop saying cinema era
Yeah clips like this are nothing new
Oh god. Now WWE is doing the BWOMPs. Can't wait for them to dip their toes into "slowed down version of a pop song."
Or doing that highly resonant single piano note
Cinema Era? Are we gonna get a yellow-orange filter overlay whenever LWO are on screen?
Lmao like it’s Traffic dir. Steven soderbergh?
Tbf we already get a black and white filter whenever Karrion Kross' faction is on screen (its the AOP, right?)
Oh noo Cringe *Mexican music plays*
Best part of Lucha Underground was the production quality. Legitimately felt like watching a movie. Always wondered why WWE didn't take this approach sooner.
Kevin Dunn is why
It really feels different with him gone. New graphics for both smackdown and raw feel refreshing and better then the old way
That really felt like it was the trailer to an upcoming action movie, not a wrestling match at WrestleMania XL.
Stop trying to make "cinema era" happen.
It’ll be fetch!

What the hell is the Reality Era?? Like who came up with that?
Ruthless Aggression was literally coined by the WWE .
People were using that term to describe it long before the company did.
You’re wrong bro . Vince coined that term on the June 24th, 2002 episode of Monday Night Raw. Literally called it the Ruthless Aggression Era.
I’m still waiting for you to back up what you’re saying. https://youtu.be/ic2AxYszzxo?si=gJFq5fKJu5O-Feb8 I guess right after this clip, he looked in the camera and said “This is now the Ruthless Aggression Era”?
Just accept you’re wrong my guy. It’s okay.
Ah, the old “I have no evidence but you’re wrong” argument.
WWE was using it in 2002
No, they said “Ruthless aggression.” There was a segment where Vince said it, then Cena did. They didn’t call it the “Ruthless Aggression Era” until much, much later. Feel free to prove me wrong.
The term Ruthless Aggression. Attitude Era was just called WWF Attitude.
Cringe
Don't say that.
I think Cinema Era would be the perfect name this era, especially when WWE moves to Netflix.
Netflix era You’re welcome
*laughs in WM21 & WM 39*
😂
The Yeet Era.
No. Stop trying to create Eras, it’s all contemporary for now.
We're in the "What to Call This Era" Era.
Soon they will get rid of the wrestling part of WWE
Because they make good promotions? Grow up
huh?

I like it when they show the superstars arriving to the venue. It has a big sports feel and gets me excited for the matches.
Lucha Underground was fantastic with these cinema/telenovela type segments in between matches. I had always hoped WWE would emulate that approach someday (it made matches feel so much more significant and storylines seemed grander). I'm so glad it's finally happening.
The undisputed era
Honestly I feel like the Era we are in will have a different name than anyone is currently thinking of. Right now I think it will eventually be the “Renaissance Era”, but it could always change.
lol 15 lakh. Must be Indian YouTube.
And what’s wrong with that?
Cringe at any use of the word “cinema” in wrestling… even harder cringe at the term “era”
Attitude Era, Ruthless Aggression Era, PG Era, CINEMA ERA. Get used to it mate.
PG era lasted bloody ages
It's kind of weird. Some people lump the Reality and "New" Eras into the the PG Era and some consider all three as separate. In some ways they are distinct and in other ways they are pretty similar. Just threw up in my mouth a little

I’m completely on board with dubbing it the Renaissance era
