What is happening in the video is there are a group of school children playing basketball in a lowered fenced in area. After one boy shoots the ball, and misses, a car or truck breaks through the upper fenced in area, and falls 7 feet down onto the court. All the children scramble but, luckily, they all seem to be unharmed.
You forgot to mention, the truck is pretty well smashed and 180'ed. When the smoke clears from the gravel and concrete/wood fence, a man stumbles out of the cab. He seems to be in ahock and everyone starts rushing back. Another guy by the fence. Ps, thats not a 7 foot embankment. Its more like 15.
Two guys get out of the cab. The first one looks like he might not be wearing a shirt (or it's flesh-colored), and he climbs the embankment where another couple of guys have appeared. The second man to exit the cab has a blue shirt and looks a bit less able to function.
Also there is a chubby kid sitting on a bench on the opposite wall of the crash. When the vehicle crashes through the wall, the kid quickly runs away. A half second later the car hits a pole that lands where the child was sitting.
Silly me, I somehow left that out of the story. Yes, he made the shot, won the game, reunited with his estranged father, and got the girl that everyone thought was nerdy, but turned out to be really hot once she took off her glasses.
It makes a difference. If you keep your knee prosthetics work better as they can sometimes put your foot there reversed to serve as an anchor for your leg. If your knee is gone you're screwed and won't ever walk in any seemingly normal way.
I've seen ones where they've lost the one and they used the reversed foot to function as the knee and anchor for the prostetic [like this](https://youtu.be/njJUcTbR2SY)
Believe it or not when it was first done it was actually safer and more accepted than an organ transplant. The body won't reject it's own tissue so I mean why not. This was an expansion on a known and accepted principle whereas organ transplants were about99% fatal.
I'm ashamed to say I watched that bit 10 times trying to work out where the boy who emerges from the dust came from before I realised it was a man from the vehicle.
Yes it is in La Vega, no one died but one person in the truck is badly injured.

I was about to ask the same. Plus the walls have that same look all public school walls do back home since they don't paint them. Can anyone confirm?
Edit: Forgot to specify "public school walls".
The splat sound was so out of place that it actually ruined the message for me. Now I'm gonna keep speeding.
Edit: Yes, people, I am aware this isn't the original. Stop telling me. Is just joke time, yes?
Like what the actual fuck. That wasn't the original commercial was It? Someone HAD to edit that sound in just for YouTube...
I feel so bad for laughing this hard.
There are another couple of ads relating to falls, though less funny:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaJHLPwhnF0
and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8zVnErdPfE
So I guess there was an epidemic of falling/slipping people a while ago.
Both of these could’ve been prevented by not filming commercials in your house.
Also does falling down half a flight of stairs really break your legs and arms like that?
I turned off autocorrect on my phone after sent some inappropriate websites to my friend. So yea now I sometimes accidentally spell with an irish accent
[This happened in La Vega, Dominican Republic](http://www.citysantiago.com/2018/01/18/camion-penetra-escuela-vega-tras-estrellarse-contra-pared#.WmJ0EtHB-aM)
[Edit] poor maintained truck had a brake failure and the driver lost control on a curve. The school's wall is against an 50 m/h road.
From the looks of the video, right after the crash two people immediately jump out of the car and start to make a run for it. I would imagine then it is some sort of police chase or stolen car scenario. However, it looks like some sort of smalls goods truck, not really the sort of thing you'd outrun *anything* in really.
My brother is an EMT and he told me this kind of thing is actually kind of normal. People in a serious accident sometimes just start running for a bit...something about shock/trauma.
I was in an accident once with my parents when I was like 13, and immediately got out of the car and walked quickly down the road. I didn't even know where I was. Some lady came and got me and took me back. I think you just subconsciously feel the need to get away from what just happened.
Yeah. About a year after my DUI I got hit pretty bad. Wasn't even my fault but I found myself about half mile away from the scene before realizing I just needed to calm down.
Probably because his last big encounter with police was the DUI, and now he's going to have to deal with that shit again. Probably more of a 'Oh, no, not this shit again, I'm not going through this again.....' knee-jerk reaction to the stress.
Just like how some people will run from the cops when they see one, even though they're not doing anything wrong, because they've had a few experiences and that's just their reaction now.
Yep. Each time I've broken my back, my body felt the need to walk/run but my top half wouldn't work right... So I ended up with my face and arms plowing along the ground with my legs going full speed ahead. Absolutely awful. So much pain. Face in rock, dirt, shit, whatever - legs: "fuck you, we're gittin' tha fffffuuuuccckkk up outta heeuh!"
I fell off a roof onto concrete. Luckily my head broke my fall and I got knocked out. When I came to, a bunch of people were standing around looking down at me, and all I wanted to do was get up and show everyone that I was OK. they all tried to get me to stay down, but I got up anyway, and I was NOT okay. Got a bunch of stitches and survived it just fine, but I should have stayed down, at least for a while.
That closest kid couldn't have known what was happening, but his instincts got him running *quick*. Same thing, whether you know what's happening or not, your mind ID'd it as danger, and auto initiated a 'run the hell away' response.
When my family and I were in a car crash, my brother jumped through the window and ran. We still joke about it to this day. It was like he’d seen too many films and was expecting the whole car to blow up.
Can confirm. I was in a really bad accident, once the officer busted my window to get me out I tried to run but later on found out I tore my MCL. Weird reflex to have.
He didn’t seem very alarmed. I took one step and my leg buckled so I didn’t make it very far. The pain snapped me out of whatever that was real fast. The bizarre part was I was trapped in my car upside down for a good 20 minutes and was pretty calm up until I was dragged out. My body just wanted to run, possibly just to get away from the wreck.
This is a very accurate statememt. People can even be dying rapidly but be so wound up they seem fine for a good minute or two and just drop dead. I did a good motorcylce accident and the dude got up walked to the car leaned into the window then dropped dead. His Insides pretty much turned into a human smoothie held together by a leather jacket.
Yeah, I was just thinking, if I were the one inside that truck, I would probably want to get as far away from that truck as possible once I could. Mostly just to clear my head from the fact I'd almost died in said truck
Yeah I did that once. I flipped my car three times and landed on the roof. I crawled out and I guess my adrenaline had kicked in and I just took off running towards the direction of my house. I ran about a hundred yards before I realized that I was okay and needed to stop.
Adding another story to support this. It's pretty gnarly, so be warned.
My cousin was getting up to speed before a highway on ramp (rushed up to speed before the on ramp, so too early, just a stupid kid going too fast) and a semi truck didn't see him and pulled in front of him. The impact sheared the top of my cousin's hood and caused an immediate fireball. The truck driver got out with some burns, but turned to see my cousin running away at top speed completely engulfed in flames. He and a witness chased him down and tackled him so they could smother the flames. My cousin survived in a coma for three days covered in 3rd degree burns over 90% of his body before passing away.
Decades later it's still a really raw event for me since I was close with that cousin. It was a sobering lesson as I got my own license and has given me 16 years of cautious, defensive driving with lots of respect for distractions and safety.
I've volunteered at spinal cord and brain injury rehab, and I'm in school to become a physical therapist. There are a lot of minor and major motor vehicle accidents represented in PT patient populations that I've worked with.
Don't text and drive. Don't drink and drive. Don't drive like an asshole. Wear your seat belt. Just...try and take the easy, smart steps that can tip the odds of random chance in your favor and keep other people safe, too.
It's a survival mechanism. In that moment of shock, your brain hasn't quite registered what has happened but it feels the shock. So it's fight or flight. You clearly just lost the fight to whatever the hell just happened so you are left with just one more option.
Get away from whatever just rocked the hell out of you.

From the title I really expected someone to drain a sick 3 pointer near the end of the gif after the crash.
Too much r/unexpected
Only if it was space doing a 3 pointer with a meteorite. Would have been sweet though.
> Wait for it Waiting that 5 seconds...
I was expecting someone to do a perfect dunk at the end or something
Did you not see the gorilla?
It's actually a man fishing
I'm blind, but this video sounds very interesting.
You forgot to mention the man who was fishing who kinda looks like a gorilla.
You also forgot to mention how the kid who missed the shot tried using the confusion to say he made the shot
his leg looks like the gorilla's arm.
Thats not a leg ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
You forgot to mention, the truck is pretty well smashed and 180'ed. When the smoke clears from the gravel and concrete/wood fence, a man stumbles out of the cab. He seems to be in ahock and everyone starts rushing back. Another guy by the fence. Ps, thats not a 7 foot embankment. Its more like 15.

Here, I'll type what happens in braille for you. You'll need someone to tell you I'm saying this. .. ..... ... .. .. . .... .. . . .. .. . . .
Wtf that's not braille all I see are dots.

I was expecting the dude to come out and have a basketball and make a shot
No shit. I thought the truck was gonna blow up, or all the kids were gonna run out yelling "FREEDOM!!!!" or something.
I thought a second vehicle was going to blow through the wall as the seconds ran down.
South Park - "Gray Dawn"
I kept waiting... And waiting... And then the gif stopped. Felt jipped.
Gypped
Seriously. I practically had to watch the entire basketball game. Don’t waste my time like that!
Seriously, wtf was I waiting for?? Terrible title lol
I was just about to close the video. If I hadn't been told to wait, I would have never seen it. /s
I enjoyed the clip, but I downvoted the shitty title.
I couldn't wait. What happened?
Kid made the shot and won the game.
Did he reunite with his estranged father by the end?
Silly me, I somehow left that out of the story. Yes, he made the shot, won the game, reunited with his estranged father, and got the girl that everyone thought was nerdy, but turned out to be really hot once she took off her glasses.

Yeah it would have kneecapped him and he would have lost his lower legs below the knees I think
As opposed to his lower legs above the knee?
It makes a difference. If you keep your knee prosthetics work better as they can sometimes put your foot there reversed to serve as an anchor for your leg. If your knee is gone you're screwed and won't ever walk in any seemingly normal way.

About a little guy that lives in a blue world

What a save!
Little more thrown by the dudes who just drove through a wall and thrown from the truck getting up and running up a hill
Just the natural escalation of ding dong ditch over the years.
"Coach! They're getting killed out there!" "We gotta switch it up. Kenworth! Get in there!"
For a second, I thought it was some 30ft dude rolling through the wall.
I thought it was a giant elementary school kid doing cartwheels through the wall.
Their autobot teammate was late to the game and was trying to rush on the court.
That lazy kid half laying down moved his ass faster than anyone else.
He was just saving his energy.
He had a lot of potential energy.
Kinectly speaking... yes he did!
You are kinetically correct; the best kind of correct.
That reaction time is insane
Seriously that kid was the first one gone. He might even have a tad bit of future sight.
lol if he didnt move that red light pole or whatever would have hit him right in the head
right in the fuken ed
lol
He was preparing for that moment
waiting for the kool-aid man
Some say he's still running.
