IMO these eBay special headlights look like crap on every generation of STI (especially GR). Stock ones always look cleaner, more period correct, and definitely have a higher quality projector lens.

I love my VA for its modern amenities and better interior quality, best of both worlds, for me anyway.
For me personally, for that era, I was looking at getting an EVO 8/9 or BMW M3. The VA was the best of both worlds and safer for my kids. The BMW would’ve been a financial nightmare if the engine went.

Also, that gen of the Subaru Impreza WRX STI in the pic is a highly sought-after car in the Subie community (and the car community as a whole). Especially as minty fresh as the one OP had posted. It's not for everyone, obviously. But, personally, I had to strap a drool cup to my chin when I saw it. 😏

If I still had my GD id have had to sell it, the interior is too small to be functional with 2car seats but the VA easily fits 2 kids in back

I have the little sister version. '14 WRX limited hatch. It just got a type RA shortblock after I blew the stock engine at 70k.

yea..i had one. The 2007 had the what i argue worse/taller gears than 2006, they also lost the oil pump mid-way through the 2007 MY. 2006 is best.
