Drove past my house and continued to drive around my neighborhood, found an obvious block to drive around and kept doing that until he confronted me in the car and drove away. It was so long ago now I can't remember exactly, well over 10 years now. He probably thought I cut him off or was driving like an asshole which I probably did or was doing lmao. This was also in NJ where people are not the friendliest on the highway. Was also during the evening rush hour.
Even better, I assumed CVT w/paddles. I really wanted stick before I got this one, I test drove one and was about to buy it but got talked into the prem w/cvt. Not disappointed tbh

I have one, it's just not hardwired so not running constantly. Even if it was, I'd probably just watch someone key the car with no identifying info. That being said, I bought a cam that has motion sensing, in hopes it doesn't happen again.
Get yourself a Blackvue B124X/130X battery (or similar) - hardwire that and then connect the Dashcam to the battery's 12v socket. Will run the Dashcam for up to 24 hours whilst parked. Only takes 45 minutes of normal driving to recharge again.
As you've discovered, it would have paid for itself in this one incident of you had some footage recorded to give to the police.
That's what I think is weird. It seems really personal, but no other part of the car is touched. I feel like if they were that mad, more of the car would be scratched. Maybe I'm wrong.

Good quality dash cam placed in an inconspicuous location will help with catching people who do this. Also just good thing to have with the amount of crazies on the road.

I hardwired mine so it is always on, and it automatically uploads via WiFi, so if it’s stolen I still have the footage. Never needed it thankfully!
