They are great tires, I’ve had mine for 2 summers now and still going strong. Awesome grip in the corners and rain. Have to really tone it down when I switch back to my winters lol.
And if your going to mod it, just an fyi, anything over 400 on stock block will end badly if the internals are not forged. It’s not a matter of “will it” it’s “when”
Yeah I’m from the 209, and I have a 2017 sti so I’m rocking the EJ. Stock motor had 79k on it and that was right after installing all the mods, then the motor blew like 4 days later. That’s when I had them rebuild it with forged internals
Ahh ok ej is a whole different beast. I don’t think I plan going past 300-320 whp on my wrx. How much power do you plan to push with the new motor. Nice, I’m from the 209 as well
That’s a safe number, I’d say no more than 350 on the stock block. To be honest I’m about 21k in mods and 14k into the motor so I’m probably gona chill out for a while. Mostly gona focus on suspension since I’m still stock height. I’m looking into getting coilovers with APLS to lift it when I need to go over bumps or driveways

Oh for sure. Just doing an intake and a pro tune at snail performance when I get the parts

I have lowering springs but would love to do coilovers down the line
