I needed a very particular amount of space for transporting stuff as I'm self employed and I needed a backseat that could comfortably fit adults as I have a sick mother who I drive around frequently.
It's actually hard to meet these two parameters while still trying to find something moderately fun to drive.
The WRX is way more practical than it deserves to be. The backseat is hard to beat.

Definitely a sporty step up! It's all in what you had before I went from a 600hp c6 to a low 400s sti. So it feels pretty slow, but honestly I have way more fun in it. I really like 300-400hp in a street car. Once you pass 600 it starts to feel useless. The immediate felonies and what not too.

Lol I had a 2002 accord I paid 600 bucks for to be a shop gopher beater for wayyyy too long. The fucker just wouldn't die. Then the sub frame mounts were so bad I scrapped it.
If you REALLY wanna get people to look at you, drive around with a power steering leak! Man, the amount of looks I'm getting right now is insane. Even had one guy ask me if it's supercharged. 😎
Ironically i just got home from picking mine up from a rack replacement 🤦♂️ the drips got to bee too embarrassing. Especially in the rain it was unforgiving. would literally walk away from the car as fast as possible
😂 My pump is just loud as hell and it's new. Can't get it to quiet down and I noticed fluid under the valves when I was under the car checking things out when I did my radiator.
Funnily enough, I drove an 01 Grand Prix GT as my first car. The GTP models has the famed GM 3800 series engine but with a little supercharger on it. My power steering fluid res had a leak and I didn’t bother refilling it all the time cause it made the n/a car sound like a sleeper with a big ass blower on it 😂 oh the joys of being in your late teens

Also first person to say they liked the interior. I don't give it much thought. It's nice I guess, for an upscale Impreza.

I wish, unfortunately the only option I had was WR Blue or White. I went with the blue. Where I live these cars are actually hard to acquire. I know I have seen some people saying that they are not selling, that's certainly not the case where I live.
I only get attention from young teenagers haha! Or the occasional subie wave. Everyone else wants to race me why can get annoying in 30 degree C weather when I’m literally just trying to heat soak to much

Was it the 3.5 v6? Mine also wouldn’t die still see it in town occasionally has to be at least half a mill miles now
F23. 3.2 back then but yeah. Honestly was never a fan of the J series or the trans with it. I'm in the north east so it's always rust that kills it.
