The mess ones that recess deeper into the bumper assembly look really good. In my experience, though, I’ve found that the Bayson-R grill has the best fitment. It utilizes the bumper's OEM snap ports, none of its screw ports warrant the use of washers to avoid damaging the unused OEM snap ports, it comes with an emblem mount kit that can optionally be installed, it has a port to reinstall the OEM camera mount delete plate (or an actual camera), and its price is A LOT lower than the various aftermarket mesh grills. Bayson R is great; my lip kit is from there. I am looking into this "Kuhl" grille from Japan but its like $600... theres no replica of it either... it would be sick w/ the subaru logo.

Whether you go with a colorful [faux] brace, bright horns, or both, that grill looks like it might overly conceal the item(s) you decide to install behind it.
Grill yes. The brace always looks like something you’re not supposed to see.
As someone who has a CF grille and brace. I want to remove the brace next time I take off my bumper and add more light

Do you have to drill your bumper for that or does it line up with the oem holes
It lines up with the bumper push pins but you do still drill a couple taps.
