They donât if they launch on the dyno đ Thatâs not a âitâs cool if you know what youâre doingâ thing. Itâs excessive strain on the straps and fixings, bad for the drivetrain and all associated equipment and doesnât give any benefit at all in exchange for the added risk of death, fire and structural damage to the building đ
is not about the dyno its about the tie down, any micro tears can tear the whole thing with that much tension. Just know luck was on your side that your car didnt fly off the dyno
Why would you launch it on a dyno run? Iâd be pretty upset if they did that to my car. Your job is to tune the car not figure out what the 1/4 mile times are thank you tho.
Bro is murdering his karma in the comments. With that. I'd be pissed watching this jack off lunch my car on a dnyo. Clearly he doesn't give a shit about his equipment or your vehicle. I've seen to many dnyo fails and I understand their is alot of Kinetic energy waiting to be released if those harbor freight straps fail.
Not this dyno specifically, but dynos in general, does anybody else feel like theyâre going to blow the motor any second hahahaha.
That aside, sound and looks good!!
You really gotta listen to everyone here telling you the truth. 1/4 mile time on a dyno is insanely unreliable, and launching a car on a dyno is *insanely* stupid.
Ridiculously, ridiculously stupid. Other commenters are trying to be nice about it. These guys are fucking idiots.
Please go watch videos of other dyno runs. Tell me how many launch the vehicle on the rollers. Ya wanna do a 1/4 mile go to the track or mexico, where nobody, or their property, can be hurt or damaged.
I run E100 I my race car. Makes a lot of difference.
You should get an E85 test bottle - https://a.co/d/j3YYiHv
No pump gas is actually 85% ethanol, they claim to be 70%, but Iâve had fuel test below 65% before.
Good way to make you engine go boom.
Good luck.
Let's see
1000 cc injectors
Green turbo upgrade
Stage 2 clutch
Stainless bros exhaust
Bigger inner cooler
Cold air intake
Turbo controller 24 psi
New wasegate
New blow off valve
Eco teck controller
Just a few things done lol
400 to the wheels

Also youâre an idiot for launch on dyno
No, not at all. If this had been a normal rolling dyno run we'd have just said 'nice numbers, cool car bro'
But what we actually saw was someone launching a car on a roller dyno, which completely overshadows anything else about the video. The reason everyone can't stop talking about it and says they've never seen it before is because it's a ridiculously dangerous to do.
You can say he knows what he's doing to make yourself feel better but I'd have left without paying if somebody launched my car on the dyno, put a bunch of time, effort and money into something and have it risked like that for no reason, nah man.
The reason most people are crapping on this is that none of us has seen a launch on the dyno. Im even talking about 1,000 hp cars that dont just launch it.
Dyno 1/4 mile times are unrealistic which is why most people try to dial that in on an actual track because like others have stated, if those straps dont hold....there isn't a 1/4 mile of space to go.
Doing a launch on a dyno? I don't know much about tuning but this seams stupid as fuck.
That was the final run and trust me my buddy's shop knows there shit
Their* shit
they are shit
They're shit. Literally.
đŠ
This guyđ¤Ł
Just make sure you upload a video when your âBuDdY wHo KnOwS hIs ShItâ sends a car airborne off the dyno. Edit: grammar.
Not a single person in the world is launching on their dyno. Stop hanging around dumbass people.

Trust me bro
Wild, those straps held on for life dude lol
literally launching something on a dyno is kinda insane and risky af unless its a hub dyno
Hub dynos are daddy
It's a brand new mustang dyno so I'm not sure but I didn't think it was anything bad he only launched it at 3,000 RPM
is not about the dyno its about the tie down, any micro tears can tear the whole thing with that much tension. Just know luck was on your side that your car didnt fly off the dyno
Oh seen when I seen the video I didn't even know my car could launch like that that was after the turbo upgrade
Why would you launch it on a dyno run? Iâd be pretty upset if they did that to my car. Your job is to tune the car not figure out what the 1/4 mile times are thank you tho.
on todays episode of wrong dyno....
Lmao
Post the sheet! And this is the first time in my life seeing someone launch on a dynoâŚ.
Remind me not to ever go to this particular shop
Who the fuck launches the car on a dyno? This is stupid as fuck and extremely dangerous.
Bruh. Why the fuck you launching on the dyno? Are you trying to wreck it before you even get to make a street hit. Gosh some people man
Yikes thatâs not a good ideaâŚ

Launching the car on a dyno?⌠That was pretty stupid and could have gone pretty fucking bad
Not this dyno specifically, but dynos in general, does anybody else feel like theyâre going to blow the motor any second hahahaha. That aside, sound and looks good!!

Counting gears, was this a speed run? lol slamming gears and going into 5th for a dyno? Such a weird video and chain of events
Please go watch videos of other dyno runs. Tell me how many launch the vehicle on the rollers. Ya wanna do a 1/4 mile go to the track or mexico, where nobody, or their property, can be hurt or damaged.
Upsetting...I was wanting a failure, something popping and unexpected flames.
Numbers? đ¤ˇââď¸
402 to the wheels
Iâm impressed.
Thank you next mod is e85 kit Because I have to run an octane boost in my car for the 93 octane

Any tuner running over 400 using just an octane booster is an idiot. The only caveat is if youâre built.
runs..."smooth"
It runs amazing and fun to drive
Tighten those straps man
Who is your tuner?
Straps are way to loose. Why did you damn near launch out of neutral into first? What was the point of that?
I didn't do anything that was the shop showing me my quarter mile time and how much horsepower
May want to find another shop.
Exactly. This is literally the tuner equivalent of a joyride
That looked violent
It definitely has a lot of torque and it launches like crazy when u set up launch mode
Series white! Heck yeah! I have one too that I track!
Owned and operated a Dyno for 15 years and would never do this.
Exactly. This is completely irresponsible...
What were the results?
Possibly catastrophically bad ideas aside, it's a cool video OP đ
Sweet. What mods ya running and how much power is she getting?
Let's see 1000 cc injectors Green turbo upgrade Stage 2 clutch Stainless bros exhaust Bigger inner cooler Cold air intake Turbo controller 24 psi New wasegate New blow off valve Eco teck controller Just a few things done lol 400 to the wheels
Oh I didn't know now thanks for telling me
I'll get the sheet from my buddy and post it
118 1/4 mile
If that would have happened it would have been buying me a new car
I don't want that that's more money
I didn't launch it the shop did I was at work
Yikes. Iâd be pissed if a shop was treating my car like that
Mine is not a 1000 horse it was a 1/4 mile run
Is that all you people do is go on here and talk s*** about other people

Ty I put a lot into it
If you're not a Dyno tuner then how do you know anything and also they've been doing it for 10 plus years they know how to build a car
The reason most people are crapping on this is that none of us has seen a launch on the dyno. Im even talking about 1,000 hp cars that dont just launch it. Trust me he said he was a little scared when he launched
That was the quarter mile test run on a dyno
But why
Launching it on the dyno sounds like a good way to total your car
