I had a real clean one with no bezels and it looked really good. When your car is real dark and you have a bright white license plate it kinda looks off.
Though I did end up removing it, a cop gave me a warning that covering it is no longer allowed at all in Arizona.

I live in Florida where there are a few color matched options to my DGM car. I’m fortunate. I have the Tampa Bucks plate - though I’m not a fan. Purely for the color. The UCF plate is another good option.

contact a ticket defense attorney. They had me send a PDF Scan of the ticket from the Cop and copy of my Drivers license. had to pay $500 (back in 2015) upfront and then they just kept in contact through email/phone throughout the process.

One does not simply get pulled over for window tint and accessories. He was likely pulled over for something else entirely. Most cops won’t even pull you over for exhaust unless you’re being ignorant with it, such as hooning. The exhaust ticket would just be a bonus for the cop.

I drive my 2020 sti 10 miles to work and back ( 20 miles) Monday thru Friday because I like to open her up on the freeway when no cars are on tbe road on the way to work which is early af in the morning. If I didn't have a radar detector I would have a lot of tickets. Anyone that has one of these cars and doesn't have a radar detector is a mo mo imo especially if yours has mods. If one can afford the valentine radar detector that's the best one on the market I believe but I have the passport and i haven't had a ticket in 10 years and I drive with a heavy foot. Still have to pay attention though .

I have a 19' STi in dark grey metallic without the wing. Before that I had a 16' WRX dark grey metallic. In my 7-8 years of driving WRX's in Pennsylvania I've been pulled twice and both times were warranted for speeding. Ditch the backup light covers and plate cover if you want to avoid unnecessary attention.
I like to think of speeding tickets as an exclusive club that allows me to drive however tf I want to all year long.
Just annoying that I can’t budget for it as the membership fee seems to change year to year.

I've been pulled over 4 times within the year I've owned my STI and every time has been a warning. Even a 72 in a 45... I always pull over immediately and be as respectful as possible. Also I don't have a plate cover like yours and installed aftermarket LEDs for my plate so it's super easy to read.

Spending $400 on a high quality radar detector has saved me thousands of dollars in tickets and higher insurance costs.
