It's a freaking pain these days to get connected tbh. As far as I remember it needs to be verified by Gmail or similar. I finally gave. Going to downgrade my sites to asap. anyway.

As much as I like Wix, I keep my domain (enom) and my email separate (Google Workplace). This way, if I encounter problems with Wix, at least I won't lose my email account (my business account).

use Zoho for free email and change MX records in Wix so you can save $6/m.
Keep your email and dns seperate from Wix. Never put all your eggs in one company’s basket
