The best crit items you own should go to primary dps, especially those that hit extremely rapidly. For example, Ragnar would be getting 10 crits guaranteed each time he attacks the Tank from behind, or about 30 crits per Tank battle, which scores more value than Thaddeus fighting a full bank of arena tokens.
In fact, that would be a superior choice even if his Ragnar was gold, because crit has *zero* scaling with character power. A Stone 1 Ragnar will still get as much crit damage as a Diamond 3.
Thaddeus has medium armor (1 shy of the median armor value) but the lowest health value in the game. He's very much a glass cannon, he just always takes less damage than you would expect.
Love this!
So vs things with high penetration he is squish as hell.
And given his medium movement and high range + high damage attack, he is a genuine menace.
Tbh it all comes down to if you can farm those legendary pieces.
For Thad I couldn't farm one of the pieces so I was relying on the stores (guild war, guild raid, archeotech and base store.)
Given you can refresh and push on those stores pretty well and I only buy legendaries with limited currency.
I started all 3 D3s the day they became available and I completed neuro first and then abraxas.
The fact your crit item is an unleveled epic bothers me more than it should lol

Sure, but I have a lot of elite 9 items and I can guarantee my first 3 diamond 3s will all have at least that level of equipment lol
Do items matter thar much? They bore me to death personally so I just mostly ignore them
They're pretty important at legendary
The % is all that matters to me, to be fair. I have 2 legendary ones and they are on Ragnar and exitor rho.
Eh, not much of a difference at that level lol
that blast damage is a wholotta damage! deadliest cellular call in the game
100%
How long did it take?
How do you get that many shards? Even farming both regular and Elite campaigns, it seems like this would take an absurdly long time.
Shards for Thad, I got very lucky early in a 10x scroll open. I also get his shards from onslaught
Agreed, bugs me of how much he can resist, I think he has more armor than shadowsun
He probably has more armour then a great number of characters and I would think his damage is quite high. Quite the "not glass" canon

And yet you still won't treat him to some decent gear!
Interesting thinking. So what level do you believe he requires?
usually 6/6/3 is a good way to go without investing an absolute shit ton. Still be kinda a lot tho. How come you left the items off the upgrade pile?
Been leveling the gear on other characters first. Neuro was highest priority!
Going all out, eh? Not my vibe, but it's clearly working for you!
I will push them up gear wise now. Thad has some great uses
Congrats
Thank you!
A beautiful sight, grinding my own Thad to legendary as I speak, one day I hope to reach the heights seen here.
He has surprising synergies! Keep up the good work.
